***DO NOT COME HERE EMPLOYEES ARE RACIST*** Since I worked down the street, I was a frequent customer at this store. Before work I would come in and pick up a few products but recent visits has caused me to no longer come here. On my last visit I was followed around by the store manager and glared at by all employees until I walked out. This was not the first time, an employee once followed me into the bathroom and pretended to use the toilet just to make sure I wasn’t doing anything. Now I understand that this location has theft issues, but I wouldn’t think that they would start targeting frequent customers. I did some research on yelp and asked several of my friends about their own experiences. What I found out is that the employees only target and accuse dark skinned people of theft. It doesn’t matter if you’re a frequent customer, they will still accuse you for stealing if you are dark skinned. I’ve messaged several women on yelp who have gone through a similar or worse experience. They’ve all told me that they tried contacting upper management, called customer service and Ulta did NOTHING. Besides this stores unsound business practice of racial profiling, their customer service overall is disgraceful. Every time I’ve walked in most employees are either talking to each other, looking in the mirror or using the makeup on display for themselves. Then when you approach them for help they are rude and know absolutely nothing about the products they sell. The staff here are vapid narcissists and I will not associate myself with a store that promotes such terrible work ethic.

Ulta Beauty is supposed to have both high end and more budget brands under one roof. I did find the store complex and somewhat confusing. The staff were not all that helpful. For example, I asked for a single color eye shadow, and in the entire store, the sales associate said that only sets were available, not singles. I then tried to find some powdered temporary hair color. The $35.00 product was supposed to come with a $22.00 value special conditioner as a promotion. A sales associate went to go find the conditioner, and never returned, leaving me waiting and waiting. I prefer Sephora as the staff really knows their stuff.

My mom politely asked a lady about getting my makeup done for my wedding and another male employee that was standing there interrupted and said "that cost money too" .... My mom just looked at him and said yes i know i was just about to ask how much.. Iv heard nothing but bad storys about this location. My friend also had a terrible embarrassing experience here. They store accused her of theft and had security stop her and made her hand over her purse and she had nothing and her sisters purchased a few things so it made the store look dumb no reason to steal if they used big bills.

No one to help...I just had back surgery and fell trying to get a product off the bottom shelf. All I got was "Im sorry" I waited thinking the girl stocking the shelves might come help me. NOPE! I told the guy checking out customers what happened. He said "Im sorry" I threw the products on the counter and said Ill be going to Sephora. He had the balls to say "have a nice day" I said " f-you"!!!

I felt like the employees were being rude, they followed my sister and I around the store the entire time. This has happened more then once, and I also heard one of the ladies working there telling another employee to "keep an eye on those little girls". Ive personally had a few bad experiences here.

I had a great experience working with Madison. She spent a lot of time listening to my requests, finding products to try and demonstrating the products on me. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Ill be returning to see Madison the next time I want makeup and skincare suggestions!

As always, excellent customer service. I swear everytime we come by they have sales that make it worth coming in even for drug store brands. My wife is Trans and they are never less respectful to her than any other customer. That means a lot to me. Thanks Ulta crew.

The products I want have always been available. The floor staff is helpful with questions. But....checkout is a pain! My last three visits here have resulted in long lines and one checkout. They should try to have more help when more than a few people are in line.

It looks like Ulta is really starting to expand on the West Coast. The store is full of cosmetics and beauty products. Its a good alternative to Sephora. They also have their own brand of products, just like Sephora does.

I read all the one star and bad reviews but I frankly didnt experience any of the things described. The store had a nice selection of brands and products and the staff were helpful

Standard Ulta Beauty located off Homestead Road in Cupertino. Slightly smaller than the Ulta store off Cottle Road in San Jose. Plenty of convenient free parking.
