Got the A+ runaround, bait and switch. I have been looking for a Ford Fusion Energi, Black with low mileage. This dealership contacted me right away and said they were having a black 2016 SE Luxury with only 6,390 miles $21,590 coming in next week. This is exactly what I was looking for and we made and appointment for March 11 with Frankie. She contacted me again on March 10 to say the car arrived and showed me photos, telling me they were busy detailing it and having it cleaned. Meanwhile, the week before I had my bank set up a loan for the car. Just as I was getting ready for the 1.5 hour drive to Costa Mesa I happened to check my voicemail (Frankie only texted me on a separate number) and new number contained a message from a man that said Frankie wanted to talk to me before I took the long trip over there. I called back and go the run around when this man wanted me to talk to a manager. I finally got him to have Frankie call me back when she was done with a customer. Over an hour later when she finally called me back she said the car was being sold to another person as we speak, BUT they have two other ones in SILVER and a 2016 in black NEXT WEEK (always next week). And they also have a few 2015 in black on the lot. Heres where it got hinky. She said that the deal was going down before she got to work (we spoke at 12:30 and she was at the dealship at 10am), but she didnt have the dealership contact me until 11:10 am the first time. While Frankie said another sales person sold the car out from under her, It is my opinion that she sold the car herself. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP OR FRANKIE.

My wife and I just bought a beautiful Mazda CX-9 from South Coast Auto Zone. We don’t normally go out of the way to write reviews but these guys deserve 5 stars and a tap on the shoulder – I can safely say, with no exaggeration, that we had THE best car buying experience by far! Being burnt from other dealers in the past, we were somewhat hesitant buying from a dealer again but David Martinez, our salesman, turned things around and made this whole experience so down-to-earth, friendly and never pushy. He had no problem letting us take the car to the Mazda dealership for pre-purchase inspection. What we loved the most about this whole experience was our post-sale experience. Driving off the lot we noticed that the car had a minor windshield stone-chip, a missing floor mat and was slightly pulsating when braking. Called Dave and his people fixed EVERY single issue and concern we had for FREE. We were absolutely blown away by this service, and frankly, never expected this from a used car dealer. We highly recommend this place, and if you are looking for a low-mileage, couple-of-year-old car, this is the place to go. They had a large selection of Mazda SUVs and many other makes. All of their cars looked amazing and super clean. Prices were the lowest we could find -- no haggling necessary -- we had been looking for a while and, if we had only known about this place earlier, we wouldve saved countless hours of research and web-browsing. You should definitely check them out.

The easiest car-buying experience ever!!! I had been looking for a previously owned Volvo XC90 for months and was referred to South Coast Car Zone by a friends sister who had purchased one there. They had the largest selection of 2007 & 2008 XC90s in a variety of interior and exterior colors, the lowest mileage, and by far the lowest prices I had seen anywhere. Ray initially helped me the first time I went to see their selection and when I came back Brad helped me finalize the sale. Both men were very helpful and easy to deal with, not at all your typical pushy car salesmen. They have no-haggle pricing because they have the lowest prices around (my car easily would have been priced $5,000 more at a Volvo dealership) which made for a quick and easy purchase. I gave them a deposit check and they gave me the car. I used my credit union to process my auto loan and brought them the check a couple days later. It was so easy and Im so happy with my car! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a previously owned SUV. Their lot was packed with a huge variety of brands. Everything looked brand-new, was in fabulous condition, and they have fantastic prices!

This will be my last post considering the fact that I do not wish to add more unnecessary traffic to this review thread, since most people love to offer their personal opinion rather than add car buying experience advice. I honestly went down to this car dealership last weekend, went in, saw the car I wanted, drove it, got a decent quote, came back the next day and my quote actually got better as far as my interest rate because the people there were willing to help me, rather than just go with the first interest rate I was given. The people were all friendly towards each other and only wanted me to feel at ease with my car purchase. I felt no stress from this purchase. Not that this is the only dealership that can offer this, but this is definitely one of several places that provides great service. I can understand how my review may seem a little "inflated", but I honestly felt like this was a great car buying experience! And as for Dave Martinez being constantly mentioned on these reviews, when a store only has but a few members, it is not uncommon to hear 1 or 2 names repeatedly mentioned, especially for good cutomer service.-Gabino F.

Just so you know before I say my story is that I read 30 different reviews and post before visiting this dealer. I recently traded my Jeep Cherokee in for a Jeep Commander. They did not mail the pay off payment in time. They waited more then 3 weeks which caused my previous financed car loan to show late payments on my credit. I contacted Sam "Head of Finance" over 10 times and was fed the same run around "it takes time". Well I found out he actually did not respond or even try to help the situation he caused. I finally spoke with the manger at Wells Fargo and she told me there is nothing they can do cause South Coast Auto Zone forgot to send my payment for 3 weeks!!!!!!!!! So I Highly Highly recommend staying far away from South Coast Auto Zone. They credit score by almost 50 points!! I have now brought in a lawyer to get this situation handled. One thing I can say was the sales person Brad was a very helpful and pleasant person to work. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM SOUTH COAST AUTO ZONE !!!!

These guys are great over here at SC Car Zone. Id highly suggest going over there to see Mr. Mas. Im from SLC, Ut and was looking to buy a specific luxury car that SC Car Zone actually had. The pictures looked to good to be true, so I had a buddy hop on a plane to go take a look at the car. It was all legit and even better looking than the original pictures posted! These guys have nothing but the best luxury cars on their lot for a hell of a deal. Id highly recommend going over and taking a look at their cars before purchasing from another place. Its not only the quality but the customer service I received from them. They didnt pressure me nor hide any hidden fees like most do. Theyre straight up front and mean business. Ill def be purchasing my next car from them. Thanks for making my car shopping enjoyable SC Car Zone. 5/5 Stars for sure!
