If you cant get to the Philippines and have an urge for authentic Filipino fast food, deli food cooked on the spot, fresh bakery goods baked on the spot, fresh fish and other seafood, Asian veggies and other supplies, then stop by here. As a half Filipino, half Mexican, I have lived the best of both worlds in terms of food and culture and between this store and the Mercado Carnival on 3rd Avenue, you dont have to travel far to eat well. There is even a small eating area in the middle of the food court so you can eat all your treasures on the spot.

just like the market place in the philippines, full of cranky, pushy, and rude vendors... in this case... employees. it would help if they learn good customer service,... employees dont only display discourtesy to fellow filipinos, but to non-filipino customers as well, i am truly embarrassed by this. We are filipinos are raised to be polite... i dont appreciate that staff would call my husband an "a$$hole" because they are not able to help.... i am very very disappointed!

Customer service i received this weekend was terrible. I was trying to exchange a bag of rice with a bug inside and i was scolded by the supervisor why I waited two weeks to use them. She does not even know that my husband bought two bag of rice and we cannot finish them. This place is terrible and will not be back anymore. Staff has terrible customer service skill.

Im so glad that Seafood City is close to my house. I dont have to drive to Natl City anymore. Personally I have never encountered a rude worker here. Im always greeted with a "Hello MamSir and Thank you MamSir" As for the odor of the store...they sell fish and they fry fish. So of course its going to smell like fish. The best part for me is the food court!

Love this place. Had alot of the fresh fish I use to eat when family members use to bring and cook at family get together soon and parties. Where I live its hard to get fresh fish. Also has a food court with so many smells that took me back to my child hood.

Three places I shop for seafood, two are Seafood City Stores here and National City, and Seafood World on El Cajon Blvd in San Diego. I like the Seafood City here better than the National City because the staff are nicer and this place is cleaner.

The foods especially the fish may be fresh but the place really stinks and the guys at the wet market section particularly the Filipinos are rude, arrogant and discourteous. Too ironic for a comment coming from a kababayan.

Employees are always busy making sure the store is stocked with hard to find import product. Has a fish market and it looks clean and maintained. Check out is really fast. You can also buy your lottery tickets here.

I come here for the fried whole fish and the fresh tortillas. The grocery selection isnt the greatest, and the prices are average. The review is overall. I still come back here for the fish and tortillas.

Got food poisoning from the shrimp on ice. I boiled it same day and made spring rolls...within an hour I was stuck in my bathroom throwing up for hours. Awful. Never going back.

My wife is filipina and loves the Filipino fast food and bakery outlets here. The rest of the store is fairly typical, although larger than average sized, Asian food market.

Taking into consideration all the other markets and smaller shops within the Seafood City, the market offers a large selection with overall good service and quality.

We ate at Jollibee and my daughter and I each had burgers for the first time. The burgers were deliciously pleasing (the Big Yum and the Aloha Burger). Yum!

Long wait, had to wait for an hour for them to finish cleaning only 2 fish! Seriously, and long lines at registers, they had only 2 cashier in a Saturday!

One of the better seafood city stores. Has a jolly bee, valerios, red ribbon, desserts+, and more inside. Its almost like a Filipino one stop shop.

Very good food and deserts. It is a little pricey but you get good quality. The BBQ is fresh and tasty. I bring family here for the variety.
