This Ralphs has the unfriendliest staff members I have ever come across in all the Ralphs Ive visited . They rarely greet customers, and dont even bother trying to ask a question about a product... They seem more concerned with shooting the breeze with eachother than doing what theyre supposed to do. I understand a store needs to restock their shelves but please dont act like its the biggest inconvenience if I need to get around your pile of products that is completely blocking the entire aisle. If you want to self-checkout to avoid dealing with these people, and you run into an issue that requires assistance...FORGET ABOUT IT! Almost never anyone around to help and when someone does finally get there, they treat you like YOU broke the machine or are suppose to know the SKU# for purple yams. All this has happened on several visits to the store. I wanted to give this place a few other chances to see if it would be different other times around... NOPE! Avoid this place.

We drove out of our way from another Ralphs to purchase an outdoor umbrella. I had called in advance and they put it aside for us. When we got there to purchase it, nobody could locate the pole that attaches to the umbrella. One of the sales managers was pretty rude, continued on with what he was doing, and said theres nothing they can do about it. There were 8 umbrellas with no poles. We were there for almost half an hour waiting for someone to find it. Kyle was very nice and tried his hardest to locate one. He finally found one and we were all happy. Unfortunately, when we got home we realized it was the wrong pole. We then decided to go to another Ralphs to exchange and get the correct pole. We were surprised that all of the staff was nice and understanding besides the manager.

Had a phenomenal experience while dealing with Gina R. in floral on 02/19/2017. I was in desperate need of several Lilly bouquets in a short amount of time. Gina went way above and beyond to locate enough Lilys, and topped that by personally making me nine separate beautiful bouquets. All while still helping out other customers that inivertanly came through floral section asking questions, and buying balloons. I thanked her several times and truly appreciate her for helping me out with my fast approaching deadline! I truly appreciate her and hope this review reaches the right people! P.S. Everyone at the engagement party, loved the bouquets!! Thanks again!!

The majority of our local shopping is at this Ralphs for several reasons: 1) Convenience - it is nearby 2) Selection - they stock everything we want 3) Produce - there is a good selection and it is fresh 4) Service - wonderful customer service. We are remembered by the employees when we shop and they do the little things specific to us to make our experience right. Like loading our bags light because of my back, without having to be reminded each time. Special thanks to Luke! And last but not least they are friendly and generally helpful. The store is kept clean. There is plenty of parking.

Although this is a smaller Ralphs store, its my go-to of all the large grocery chains because 1) its open 24 hours, and 2) hasnt failed me yet when Ive needed to run out and pick up some last-minute items. It also has self check-out registers so that youre not standing there at 02:37 waiting for a cashier. The only drawback sometimes is the parking situation during peak hours. The deli/bakery department is top-notch, the store always looks clean, the produce beautiful and well-stacked. On addition to all of that, Ive always been treated kindly by the employees.

i frequent this store weekly, kyle white who was standing around doing nothing but bothering the cashiers had no idea i used self check out and on my way out the door accused me of stealing a 6 dollar pack of diapers so much for trying to do good by the environment and not grab a bag... my friend was also checking out said Kyle was out of line and probably should pay more attention to work then chatting. i had to ask his name as well because his name badge was not visible , Im sure they dont buy that name badge to be worn under your jacket .. Kyle get to work

Convenient location and perfectly stocked. Very friendly staff, and hard working to keep us customers happy. Quick at the register but if youre extra impatient like me there are plenty of self-checkouts. Its a beautiful area so get up and walk yourself to this store if youre not one for unidirectional parking lots. It can be like musical chairs but there are secondary parking spots and street parking shouldnt be a problem.

Pricey yet worthwhile for when an eastward trip down Rosecrans to Liberty Station is just too far. This is a compact grocery store in size but well stocked with most things one might expect and need. For local denizens and those looking to avoid further travel, this Ralphs is often worth the not-totally-horrendous premiums for products. Clean and well-staffed, to boot.

Ralph’s grocery store is a fairly nice and modern grocery store with all the food items you’d expect. Prices are fairly good and the store feels a little more upscale than a basic grocery store, but by no means at Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods level. Service is largely non-existent from the staff, but at least fairly quick as they barely talk.

We shop here multiple times a day. The customer service is excellent. There polite and friendly and are willing to help you with any questions you may have. I love the managers discounts through the store and freebie Fridays with the ralphs app and they give you coupons on items you shop for most.

this place is the worst. little parking in the lot. crowded in the store. service from the store employees is non existent. but the worst is the smell. the store smells bad. I mean it really stinks in there. might be sewage or rotted meat in the back room? recommend you stay away

This is a tough one. 3 stars for having a larger selection of plant based frozen foods and relatively a decent store layout given they are divided into two buildings. Two stars for organic selection of produce and plant based cheese/dairy. The customer service is barely par.

Its a tiny Ralphs compared to other grocery stores, but they pack in a lot. Rarely am I unable to find something I need. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially behind the deli and meat stands. Be sure to check for manager specials in the back of the store!

Good location. Was in Point Loma on holiday. I came to this store many times while here and was able to fine everything I needed. Including the Aloe I was in desperate need of after going in a whale watching tour. Do not forget the sunscreen!

It was wonderful. Very busy, but I was helped with my checking out in the self-check out lane by a very sweet girl. My knee was so painful and she did everything for me. I love most of their employees

Really nice store. I dont live in the area so I have only been there once. It seems appropriate for the area, but would be a little pricey for me where I live. Great selection, easy access location.

Every time weve visited/shopped here its been a pleasurable experience. The store is well stocked with speciality items and the people working here are very attentive and quite friendly.
