Worst Expierence EVER!!!!!! I came in after purchasing an iPhone 4s earlier in the year for $799.00. I came in to see why my phone was not working. The Genius Bar appointment was made at 10 am for 12:10pm. I entered the store at 12:05, and I sat down at the Genius Bar and was approached by an Apple Employee at 12:15. I was told that I had lost my spot and that I needed to reschedule my appointment. So after a few minutes I received an e-mail saying that I had a new appointment for 12:35. At 1:10pm I was finally assisted by the most unhelpful man. He tells me that its AT&Ts fault my phone isnt working. Then he goes to take my phone apart, and he comes back saying that my phone is working properly and that my issue is strictly a carrier issue. After he takes my phone to the back the second time, he says that I have water damage on my phone and that the damage is to blame. This was the most shady experience Ive ever had in my life. First the fault was all my carriers, and than mine. Never once did they claim any responsibility. I feel this disreputable company is only getting more backstabbing towards its clients. They will do anything to make you have to pay more money. I wouldnt invest anymore of my hard earned money in this waste of a consumers buck. The callous and mean demeanor makes me ill. I use to believe in this company, but apparently they make profits and not client satisfaction. I feel remorse for ever doing business with the good people of Mac. If you were thinking about getting any mac product, realize that they are extremely sensitive devices that the store will not repair if you let even the slightest amount of defect occur. A defect so minute that even the trained eye, must strain to see. Thisa makess it very difficult for anyone to imagine putting their cash into this losing product line Mac a waste. If you cannot even look out for your customers, and you demand to rip off people, Im sure I will live to see the end of Steve Jobs brilliant company. The writing is on the wall. The rats on board are too big to abandon ship so lets just sit back and enjoy the mass drowning. To the owner of this Mac Store, thanks for nothing.

Some employees here (Tobin specifically) may try to make you spend more money either because they are misinformed or for whatever other reason, so you gotta make sure to talk to more than one representative. Went in today to get my screen fixed. Was greeted at the front by a young black dude with black framed glasses who goes by "Tobin" apparently who was scheduling appointments with the genius bar. He asked what my issue was and I told him that i have screen damage due to moisture exposure. He responds by saying that I still have water in my system and that I will have to replace my phone entirely, which I found ludicrous since my phones been functioning for five months after water exposure, I was just late on getting my screen fixed. Anyways, he was really adamant about me needing to replace my phone and basically told me to not bother with appointments since there was apparently a two hour wait. So i left and decided to come back thirty minutes later. Upon the second visit, a nice lady greeted me and promptly scheduled a visit with a man named Michael who was extremely helpful (i thought the wait was 2 hours long tobin?). Thankfully, not only was Mike super helpful, but also he was supportive enough to go in the back to personally open up my iphone and see if there were any water damage (there wasnt). He also told me that I dont need to replace my phone entirely and I could just get my screen replaced (i almost bought a new phone for no reason, but good thing I checked with someone else who was more competent). TL;DR So in summary, this dude named Tobin basically lied to me about the appointment time (turning a potential customer away because maybe he was having a bad day or something) and also he didnt even have the courtesy to offer to check my phone to see if my screen could just be replaced without me having to buy a new phone. So thanks for wasting my time. This review mostly applies to tobin and not Mike, who was really helpful. Apparently tobin was a tech so I dont know how he could be so misinformed, or incompetant, or just simply unprofessional overall.

So my laptop crashed. When attempting to boot up, I got the dreaded flashing folder with the question mark. I took it this Apple Store. A technician took it to the back to attempt a recovery with the install disc. When that didnt work, an appointment was made for me to return later and meet with someone at the Genius Bar. John was friendly. Actually, each person I encountered at this location was friendly. John made several attempts to recover my hard drive. Unfortunately, I dont have the language of the technical savvy to convey what he did. After a final attempt and an expression of disappointment over his efforts yielding no results, he cleaned my laptop, reinforced my makeshift securing of the battery enclosure, and proceeded to tell me where I could go to affordably purchase a new 500 GB hard drive. As he handed me my laptop, a final idea came to him (something hed never before tried). He excused himself and returned with another laptop and an item to which my hard drive was connected and then connected it to the laptop. After some time, success!!!! This effort paid off!!! He place the hard drive into my laptop. Booted the laptop and "Voila!" Whatever he did, he was able to determine that the issue was with my RAM. John did not give up, man. He pleasantly applied all of his Apple training to assist me with a 2008 Macbook Pro. Im so appreciative of his efforts, patience, and kindness. On my way out, I was told that he is among the best technicians so, if you find yourself at the Topanga Apple, try and see John. On a side note, come April 1st, this Apple location will close for about 6 months for renovations. John will be at the Apple store in Valencia.

This stores management is poor. Employees are trained to be unhelpful on some matters, just repeating rote "we cant do that" phrases. Example 1: I had to take an iMac in for repair and asked how long the repair would take and whether coming in on a particular day might help. No matter how I asked, the answer was just "bring it in". Example 2: I asked about an anti-glare sheet for my iPhone. The sales person said he wasnt permitted to put one on, so I went elsewhere. Example 3: we bought a new iPad. The salesperson heard me gripe about my iPhones anti-glare film and said that the store had a better one. I bought it because she put it on. She told me where to order a film, by the same company, for the iPad. I got it and asked the store when she was working so that I could bring in to be put on. The store refused to say.The manager also said that they would not put the film on because it was not theirs. As a last example, some of the salespeople are terrific, but others are too aggressive, not very knowledgable, and indifferent to their ignorance--again the result of bad management. If you have a choice of Apple stores, go elsewhere. We have probably spent $7000 there. No more.
