I am the owner of a professional recording studio in Tarzana, CA. ( more than 20 years) and I took to Hi Tech Electronic Services one of my Professional DAT machines that was "biting" tapes and that needed maintenance and cleaning. The machine played back and recorded normally for a few minutes, but then it would start "chewing" on the tapes inconsistently. Hi Tech asked for a $45 fee to inspect the machine. After waiting for more than a week for feedback, I called, and the tech told me that the machine does not eat any tape, but that it doesnt play back nor records, and that the repair would cost me $220.oo ?????? So I asked not to repair it and I went to pick it up. When I asked the guy personally what was he going to do to the machine for that money, and if he was replacing any parts, he just stood there not knowing what to say and looked as if trying to find an artificial answer (lie). After that it took the guy more than 10 minutes "to put the machine back together" and return it to me. The whole attitude was very fishy and he did not have any real explanations why he was charging me $220.oo !! A total rip off! Of course they kept the $45......

If there were 6 stars Id have given this company all 6! I had my 2007 Lexus IS250 Nav System touchscreen replaced and these folks were AWESOME! I had been emailing Bijan for some time and finally got time to schedule a day to drive the Lexus up to them in Van Nuys, CA to replace the touchscreen. They did an awesome job! It took a couple of hours for the technician to remove the entire Nav-Radio from my car, replace the touch screen and put it back in. Saved literally thousands of dollars over the dealer and it is now perfect. Not only that, they are all very nice people. I will be back for all my electronics repair needs! If you are one of the millions of unfortunate Lexus owners whos Nav Touchscreen no longer works, this is the best (and possibly only!) option to ensure it is repaired and done correctly without breaking the bank! Lexus wants you to replace the entire Nav unit for anywhere from $2500 - $8000!!!! Rather than that, spend several hundred and have the screen replaced and done right!

I had a problem with my Lexus radio and CD Changer. I got a quote from the dealership to replace them and it was much more than I was willing to pay. I searched online to locate a place where I could send these units. After speaking to a technician, I was comfortable in sending my units for repair. It took approximately 2 weeks to get my units back. When I received my units, the radio was not completely fixed. I phoned the company about the problem and they guaranteed their work. They supplied the shipping label so that I could send my unit back. This time around they worked on my unit right away and I received it in a week. Their customer service was Exceptional. I paid more than I should have repairing these units, but I am VERY Satisfied. I would highly recommend their service.

These people are awesome. They saved me from spending $2800 on my Audi A6 MMI controller box. I mailed the faulty one to them and they inspected it the day it got there and called me immediately to inform me that contrary to what the garage told me it WAS NOT BAD!!! Charged me nothing for bench checking it and then told me how to trouble shoot the car further and explained how all the modules related to MMI run on a fiber optic system as well. Sold me $40 loop connector tool to help me diagnose the problem and now my car is fixed(with out the use of the bluetooth) for $40. Thank you very much!! I wish the service world was full of business people like you!

I was somewhat leery about sending in my factory Shaker 500/6-CD changer to this company that I never heard of. The reviews were good, so I decided to try them. I was more than pleased with the service and attention I received. I sent my unit via UPS so I know when it arrived. The very nextday I received a quote and decided to go ahead with the repair. To my surprise, the radio was repaired and shipped back the next day. Talk about fast service. The repair was excellent and everything turned out fine. I will not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who might need radio/CD repair.

Very Professional and Honest Electronic Repair Shop, I took my amplifier to them since it had no sound. After couple of days they called me and told me that there was nothing wrong with my amplifier and I must have pushed the tape monitor switch by mistake. When I went to pick up my amp, I asked them if they can show it to me working, the technician who checked my amp originally, hooked up my amp on his bench and showed me that it was working fine and asked me to call him if I still had any problem after installation at home and he would help me over the phone. These guys are great.

I had a problem with the command system on my 2005 Mercedes E320 CDI. I watched the you tube video on this system and ordered a fiber optic "lollipop" from Hi-Tech. With some very specific recommendations over the telephone with their technicians, I was able to troubleshoot and fix the problem. This was after a mis-diagnosis from two other Mercedes technicians at the dealer. Instead of spending $$thousands, the fix cost me less than $50. The technicians at Hi-tech are experts on the workings of the Mercedes Command Unit with the fiber optic connections. Highly recommend!

I had a problem with my 2007 Lexus ES 350 navigation system. Omar was Excellent. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it. Fred was also a big help. Not only was Omar a great technician (that navigation unit was removed in less than 30 minutes), he was friendly, courteous, professional and honest. Our whole experience with High-Tech Electronic Services was great. I would highly recommend them.

Horrible customer service. Stood in the lobby for 20 minutes without being greeted. The $45 "DEPOSIT" is non-refundable. The quote they gave me was $100 more than two other quotes. When I said I wanted my device back, they told me it wasnt ready and that I would have to come back tomorrow. So I have to take more time off from work to pick it up tomorrow. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!

Great company. Found them on the internet. Took my Lexus Navigation reader to them after the dealer wanted $1800.00 for a refurbished one. Bijam had to replace the PC board, cost me $650. Took it in on Thursday late afternoon and went in at 3:00 on Friday to pick up. Bijan installed it and I am so happy to have my navigation back. Thank you

Excellent service. You guy are the best. Take pride in what you do. Sent my head unit in from Michigan. Fixed and shipped back by the day they recieved it. Not only fix my unit but they will tell you what exactly wrong with it. Fix my CD(i didnt notice) for free too. Absolutly recommend to everyone.
