The store/supplies were great...everything you could possibly want if you like to bake. Service? Horrible. The women who helped me were neither nice nor glad to be helping me or anyone else that was unlucky enough to walk through the door. They seem annoyed to be there. Luckily, the cake we ordered was delicious. Too bad the attitudes could have used an adjustment. I will still refer friends but will always warn them in advance NOT to expect service with a smile. I used to prefer Mom & Pops strictly for the friendly service...now, I realize this is the exception, and not the rule. Such a shame. In the end, Calico may lose good business to the friendlier shops.

I have been going to Calico Cake for over 20 years. They have everything you would need to make candy or cakes. When the kids were little I would make them themed cakes (Simpsons, Barbie, Spider-Man), but now I only go a couple times a year. They have all the supplies to make holiday treats. I make 4 kinds of bark at Christmas and its hard to pick my ultimate choice. Peppermint of course, but coffee or toffee? Lime or lemon, boysenberry always...get there early in the month because boysenberry sells out. Thanks for always being there for me, Calico Cake.

These women treated me with respect and came to my rescue when my own butter creme frosting was literally falling off the sides of the wedding cake I was delivering. Not only was I having bakers trouble, but my two children were in the wedding! I called the store on my way and they whipped up enough frosting for me to repair (the cake served 250 people) the cake and the bride never even knew the difference! Thanks for helping make my day easier. I will always continue to refer new bakers to you!

This review is not for their cakes as I did not order any or try them. This is simply for the store itself. It is dark, dingy, cluttered and no rhyme or reason for the way its laid out. If you need something, they probably have it, but youll have to search for it.

I have been shopping in this store for years ! Excellent variety of everything you could possibly need. I always receive fast and friendly service...great advice and even helpful recipes. These people know their products ! I LOVE this shop !!!

The best selection of melting chocolates and chocolate molds at the very best prices. Their chocolate is delicious and far superior to what you can buy at Michaels. The staff is slow to warm up but always helpful when asked.

I used to live so close to this store and this was my to do store for chocolate molds. Now I love 30+ minutes away and have searches for other stores close to me but no luck finding a place like this.

This place did an amazing job on my sons ninja turtle cake. Everyone loved it! I would recommend to everyone. And the ladies that work there are super nice and helpful! 6 stars if I could.

The people working there are just old racist white women. They only talk and greet white people. I wish we had another cake decorating store in the area , so i dont have to shop there.
