I travel for work, bring my bike for afternoon rides (100 miles/week)and visit a LOT of bike stores. The Bicycle Emporium was recommended by a co-worker to get some work done. The first time , they were able to get a short cage derailleur working on a large gear ratio. (Ultegra and 30T) And install a new chain. Walk in, done right there. Friendly, let me hang in the shop. Recently it was time for a bb bearing replacement (13,000 miles) and I found myself again working up the street. In stock and installed in a few hours while I worked. Great service, friendly and the price was right. I will return!

Bill and his team are awesome. I ordered the wrong size initially (my mistake) and even though it had already shipped Bill canceled the order and got me the right size. As for the bike itself I couldnt be happier! I purchased the Colnago CX Zero Hydro and I am very impressed with the ride, styling, and braking power. I do a lot of climbing, which also means lots of descending, and its nice to have the reassurance of the disc breaks. I would highly recommend both Colnago and Bicycle Emporium to anyone looking for a great bike at a fair price.

Just left this shop after driving 55 min just to get here. I had called prior to arriving to make sure they had the part I needed or so I thought. All Ill say is rude and sarcastic person working there. I recently purchased a $600 bike at this shop and I CANT BELIEVE that he was so rude and I sat there waiting for as long as I did. Not to mention the lack of communication. I will NEVER give this place my business again, but I dont think theyll care anyways.

I went into Bicycle Emporium to get a new tire and a couple of bent spokes replaced on my bike on my way back from Downeyville. The chubby sales guy Bill went into a 10 minute speech about what an expert rider he is and how I must basically be an idiot for "riding too hard" on my wheels. I left after he went to help another customer and it was obvious I wouldnt get any service unless I bought one of his crappy bikes.

Received a post card advertising.."Spring Sale-a-Thon April 6-11, Join us at our Spring Storewide Sale, 20% - 70% OFF the entire showroom!" Now, who would think that the "entire showroom" of a bicycle store, would NOT include the bikes themselves??? Unreal. Good thing I called first. Other than that, good service in the past there.

have some good stuff in the store...but staff was incredibly snobby and poor service..I had to walk around and wait 20 mins for someone to talk to me (no other customers were in the store) and then they talked to me like I had never ridden a bike before rather than the racer with 30 years experience

I was fortunate enough to meet Eric; a switch guy who when asked "What would you buy for your own mother" helped me immensely. A wonderful section of bikes and all the goodies one needs to ride like the wind. (With helmet of course). Go see Eric.

Brought bike in twice because it wouldnt shift into 1st. Both times the shop charged me for repairing it without doing so. Total cost over $100 and now I have to go to another shop in town who has integrity.
