I worked for Tom about 11 years ago when I was a young teen. I ran off and joined the Army. Im still in. and 11 years later I call Tom up and tell him I want to get back into riding. With nothing but a delightful experience recommended a few bikes, did much research and went to a couple local shops here in oregon. decided on the bike I wanted which no shop here could offer. Tom ordered it for me, constructed it. sent me pictures and kept me informed the whole way. soon as I paid off the bike about a week later he had it dialed in, tuned and breaks set and in the mail to me up here in oregon. I couldnt be happier and appreciate everything he has done for me. in about 24 hours Ill be on my next adventure on my new Raleigh Tekoa Comp!

I have purchased two bikes from Elk Grove Cyclery. I went into the shop as a begining rider and the owner guided me to a perfect fitness bike for my level. They sell Jamis bikes primarily, a lesser known bike on the West coast (though they are making inroads) but reknowed for bikes packed with excellent components for the price. I embraced cycling and came back for a road bike. There was not a question as to where I should go. From the owner down to the mechanic, they are knowledgeable, friendly and reasonable. This is a bike shop that a person can trust. They do not mislead and will answer any questions truthfully. I will send my friends to them again and again. They are the best!!

I have been trusting my bikes to Elk Grove Cyclery for almost a decade now and have never been disappointed with their service, promptness and attention to detail. The staff there are always willing to explain what needs to be done and even let you observe if you want to learn something new! I highly recommend them for anyone who owns a bike in the Elk Grove/Sacramento area....kids, parents and triathletes alike. A+ service, IS WHERE ITS AT!

This is my second attempt at using this shop for service. The first time, the shop kept my bike for one week and was unable to perform the work requests. I found the needed parts for the job and installed them myself. I took the bike back to get new cables. After five days the work is still not done. I will be picking up my bike at opening and finding some where capable.

I go here to repair my bikes. Open from 10-5 M-Fri (dont know about Sat or Sun), which are really inconvenient hours. They dont stock very many parts or accessories, or have a huge selection of bikes, but they know what theyre talking about and the price of maintenance isnt obscene.

Family owned bike shop in Elk Grove. My son purchased his BMX Stolen Casino here and they did a great job with making sure it was all dialed in. They even have him coming back for a tune-up free of charge.
