I first met Jon Tallerico about 2 years ago when I started riding a vintage road bike my son gave me. Jon made some adjustments, changed out the rear wheel and made some other improvements. But he suggested that I would outgrow this bike and would need to upgrade. I really didn’t want to spend the money on a new road bike but received similar urgings from my biking friends. I finally reached the point where riding was becoming a bigger part of my outdoor life and I knew I needed to bite the bullet. Late last year I began the research of comparing off-the-shelf road and touring bikes and it became clear I needed to get myself educated about what I was buying and what I really needed. Jon had offered to counsel me thru this process. So, when I called him for help, he suggested I consider having him custom build a bike which was specific to my needs and fit. I was amazed to find that the cost was about the same! Over the past few weeks Jon has been phenomenal. He measured me up and based upon his knowledge of my riding style and usage of a bike, recommended that he build me a ‘sport- touring’ bike. Originally he promised to deliver in about 7 weeks. However, he completed the bike in less that 3 weeks! I cannot be more pleased. I have put about 300 miles on the bike including 2 climbs up Mount Diablo and the bike is performing excellently. When I brought it back in after a week, Jon made the necessary adjustments and he also helped to fit-up the pedals, cleats and shoes to get optimal performance. Jon really understands what is needed to build the perfect bike. He understood my personality, desires and why I enjoyed riding so much and built me a bike that reflected all of that. Thank You Jon Tallerico.

Lodi bike shop is a family friendly shop. Great people with a passion for bicycles and the bicycle industry. In this list of reviews are three people who are connected who are trying to slander the shop and me. I have tried many times for resolve in regards to Philips slanderous comments. He is not the customer, but is related to the person we did business with... he made a personal visit to the shop a week or so ago and myself and the other two shop employees where standing in witness when I clearly stated YES I would love resolve and we agreed. He left and decided rather to write a horrible review calling me some monster. Omg, this is horrible. All I have wanted to do is find closure with a customer experience that did not work out. The attitude on Philips end representing his fathers crusade against us seems more interested in bad press as oppressed to peace. I am saying it again, please allow us to find resolve and closure. Calling me personally names and threatening me and my family, and now this... I just want peace. Im not a thief or monster. Im a very generous person and I love people. These reviews are so unfair. I dont understand why you wont let us just give you what you asked for refund wise or as you asked for when you visited our shop last week...? It seems more like propaganda at this point. Philip, you are still welcome to call us or stop by. We are still waiting for your call or visit so we can make good and close this issue.

A sociopath runs this bike shop. Very superficially charming, tells you how much he will do for you, and then will steal your money. Has a history of stealing from the elderly (I have proof). Dont go here; let them go out of business and let the other more legitimate stores succeed.

What a cool shop! The turn-around time on my repair was only a day and everyone I spoke with was friendly and low pressure. If youre a die hard roadie or just a weekend rider, they are just as nice and helpful. None of that typical bike shop snobbery. Thanks again, LBS!

Hidden gem. High end service disguised under locale mom pop banner. The owner is a pro level mechanic and actually custom builds his own frames made to order. Cant say that about most shop owners

Do not pay anything in advance. You might regret it. Deposits are often kept by Mr Tallerico without producing any work. Receipts are useless.
