I had a very good experience when I went to Fun Sport Bike to look into buying hybrid. I knew the type of bike I wanted before I went there. I went on a Saturday and I was immediately greeted by a staff member who was friendly and helpful. He quickly showed me three bikes that fit what I was looking for and pulled them out for a test ride. I felt he fully explained the options and the difference in price points. I did not feel pressured and when I said I needed a few minutes, he said no problem and turned his attention to another customer. When I finally decided which bike I liked, I whipped out my cell phone to see if I could find the bike cheaper online or elsewhere. I searched online and called other bike stores before I was satisfied that the price was fair. I then purchased the bike. I recommend this bike shop because of its good selection, reasonable prices, and helpful and friendly sales staff. I already want to buy another bike!

Ridiculous experience. I went in there and I was looking around to see what they had since its my first time at the store. I was asked by an old man if I needed help as I was about to leave and told them that I was just looking around. The guy told his coworker that thats what customers say and started laughing and started talking smack. Rather childish for someone whos got ages over me; I was actually thinking about buying a lot of stuff from them since I needed a lot of new parts the next time I go there. Nevermind, a place like this will NOT be getting my money at all. Learn to value your customers and give them great, helpful, and informational service or theyll never set foot in there again.

Heres one example of poor service I and others I know have experienced at Fun Sport and World of Wheels: I went into the shop to buy a small item. Once they saw it was a small item and not a big ticket item, they blew me off and ignored me by taking a 5 minute call while I was standing right next to them at the cash register. The attitude of this and the other shop here in Modesto is that they dont need you unless you are buying a bike. I think it is because they believe they have a monopoly here and they can charge excessive prices and treat customers poorly. I now buy on the internet when possible and will look for a deal on a bike in Sac or the bay area.

This shop is only useful if you know exactly what you want. If you need any help whatsoever, do not come here. Period. If you are looking to buy a bike that you actually want to ride, do your research and figure out exactly what you want. If you need a component or tool, dont expect them to be able to point you in the right direction. They do not care. They will sell you anything because they know the moment you trust them and ride it/open it to try it out, they just made money. This shop is about turnaround, not developing a customer base. Every city has a really horrible shop. This is ours. PROS: 10 buck Kendas. CONS: Everything else. (Seriously)

Amazing customer service. Its been many years since I was in the saddle, so to say. So I needed a complete kit and new bicycle. They took hours apon hours to help me find and purchase just what I needed, not what I wanted. This saved me quite a bit of money and got me into a kit and bike that was right for me. All of the staff was helpful and offered opinions and recommendations on gear even if they didnt carry it. Because of all of this I spent less and am happier with my purchase. Now to put some real miles on my Pineralleo!

They were very patient with me and answered all the questions I had and provided excellent service when I was making adjustments to the fit/geometry of my bike. We purchased two Specialized bikes when ours were stolen. We are from Erie Pa, visiting relatives and returned after two years. The bike shop honored their 1 year free tune up even though it was 2 years. We were extremely happy with the service and help that Jeff and the others gave us. Bought a Trek Silque based on Brians recommended for ladies with my short stature and how comfortable of a ride the bike is. Stated his wife has the same bike. Since then, my husband bought his Trek there as well. Weve always had great service from Brian and his staff.

Their hours are rediculous! i can never buy anything because i work ling hours and they close early everyday and then on weekends they open late and close early. To me that is terrible customer service. stay open till 9pm at least.
