This was the second store I went to in search of my dream dress. On this day, we had 4 stores to go to, and Brides by Demetrios was #1. I was one of the first appointments of the day, and I received a friendly greeting upon arrival by Jenna, who ended up being my bridal consultant. As soon as I walked in the door, I saw an amazing dress that I just had to try on. I was concerned that it was over my budget ($2000), and I was right (it was $3400). However, I still wanted to try it on - it was just THAT beautiful, and it met every one of my wants in a dress (lace, sparkle, sweetheart neckline, A-Line shape). We pulled quite a few additional gowns, but nothing compared to the first one I saw - it was just love at first site. Once I tried it on, I knew it was the one - I felt amazing, and there wasnt anything I didnt like about it. Jenna added the veil and headpiece, along with a sparkly belt, and it was perfect. However, I still had 3 appointments with other bridal salons, and I just couldnt say yes to this one without ruling out the other places. So I vowed to come back that day if I couldnt find anything to top this dress. Well, I ended up returning that day and purchasing the dress. Even better, Jenna was able to get the price lowered for me - they were having a sale the next weekend, so I was able to get the sale price early. I was (and still am) so excited and happy - I cant wait to wear it on my wedding day! The only hiccup we had was that the bridesmaids dresses came in almost 2 months later than promised, which caused me a bit of anxiety. However, the dresses turned out beautiful, and we were able to have our alterations completed in time. I highly recommend Brides by Demetrios - they have numerous beautiful gowns to fit every size and shape at amazing prices. I couldnt believe the price of my gown - the quality for the price I paid was phenomenal. All of the staff there were very friendly, and I felt so comfortable the entire time.

My daughters friend is getting married this year and my daughter is getting married next year. They went to Brides by Demetrios promising to be their one stop place for all their bridal needs; Bridesmaid dresses, Wedding gown, Flower girl dresses etc. At 1st glance Brides by Demetrios promise to deliver what we thought would be a joyful experience but after the purchase was made for the wedding gown, the associates in particular the manager seem to quickly forget all about Customer service and making a bride happy. Slow in responding to concerns and questions, lack of professionalism. No one takes responsibility for anything and you are just passed around from person to person, making you feel like "Oh well you bought the dress, youre no longer important". We have struggled and worked amount of hours and needless to say my daughters poor friend has been under such pressure and stress for not getting the assistance she needs in regards her purchases. We have met all their deadlines, along with all their requirements for appointments and follow-ups, just as we were instructed. However, they have failed to follow up and complete their end on a timely manner, causing us in numerous added charges such as rush delivery fees even though they dropped the ball. My daughter was so disappointed on her fitting appointment for her bridesmaid dress and the whole experience she and her friend have had that she has decided to not make the same mistake and look for her wedding needs anywhere else except for Brides by Demetrios. Such a shame that with a place working under the name of such talented designer the staff at the Scottsdale location only brings shame and disappointment along with a very bitter taste to what should be a joyful event. Brides Run far, far away!!!!

I absolutely loved my experience with this store! I had read lots of cautionary tales for plus sized brides about stored not carrying larger sample sizes, leaving brides-to-be in tears. Their knowledgeable staff gave me the ability to try on any dress in the store though. I must have gone through a dozen when we finally found *the dress,* and they were so patient! I found an exquisite jewel-encrusted gown, but it was a sample from a discontinued line - eight sizes too small for me. The salesgirl saw how much I loved it, and we talked to the seamstress. She is building a new back of the gown to fit me, and the total cost after alterations is still lower than ordering a custom dress. I wasnt planning to buy a dress that day, and had nothing set aside towards it - but it was the last day of their sample clearance. The manager was able to accept a nominal down payment and hold it at the clearance price until pay-day. My parents flew in from Italy a months later, before we started alterations, and they had no problem with us stopping by so I could model the gown for my mom. I also had my young daughters with me at that appointment. They gave the girls coloring pages, and they had my older daughter in heaven trying on flower girl gowns. I was so nervous because I was shopping for a plus-sized gown, but my experience here was amazing. I cant wait to walk down the aisle in the perfect dress! And I loved the shopping experience so much that I asked my parents to bring back a bottle of wine from Italy for the staff. :)

My original sales consultant Nina was VERY helpful. Shes been in the business for 20 years and is a professional. If you choose to shop here, set your appointment with her. My seamstress Susan was wonderful as well! Both of these women have a great sense of style, and helped me find/create the perfect dress for my own personal style. If my rating was just based on these two, it would be a hands down 5. The reason I gave Demertios a 3 is because I did not have good service with the rest of the staff. The women I ended up ordering my dress with was not very helpful when I asked for her opinion. She did not seem confident in her feedback. Communication from the staff was poor, and had to call several times to find out when my dress would arrive because the date kept changing. They had even scheduled me an appointment, which I showed up to, before my dress had arrived. Had communication on there part been better (if they had just picked up the phone and placed a courtesy call) I would have been much happier with Demetrios even with the delays. I felt that the service stopped after purchase, and would not recommend Demetros to a friend based on this experience. I do love my dress though.

I had such an amazing experience at Demetrios!!! I made an appointment for Saturday morning, hoping to find my dress in just one try. I told my consultant, Andrea, my likes and dislikes, showed her some photos of dresses that I liked, and tried to explain my sometimes complicated style. She then picked out a bunch of dresses and we began trying on. I absolutely loved my first dress - she really understood my sense of style and what I was looking for. Then, as soon as I tried on my second dress, I knew that was the one. My mom and sister cried, and Andrea went to grab a cathedral veil that went with the dress for me to try on. It was such an amazing experience!!! Andrea encouraged me to try on the rest of our dresses just to make sure that was the one, and sure enough I just couldnt stop thinking about that dress, so we tried it on one last time and that was it!! Andrea was so patient, encouraging, and helped me make a decision by listening and giving helpful advice. I would recommend Demetrios to everyone!! Also, my older sister was a Demetrios bride 12 years ago and she loved her experience as well. Thank you Andrea!!
