Saved my wedding...from thousands of miles away! THE Bridal Shop to go to for Ian Stuart Designs! Two years ago, I fell in love with a dress from the Ian Stuart 2015 Collection (The Papillon). I knew this was the dress I wanted to get married in. Flash forward to 2017 and I am finally getting married to the love of my life. For those of you who are not familiar with Ian Stuart, he is a U.K. Designer whose dresses are absolutely stunning - true works of art! The only problem is that they are next to impossible to find in the U.S.! I searched for 2 years trying to find my dress. There are only a handful of bridal boutiques that even carry the designer. I finally found a display model shortly before my wedding that was on sale on the Pre Owned Wedding Dress website. And it just so happened to by in my size (so I thought!!). After searching for nearly two years, I couldnt believe I found one, so of course I ordered it. Not understanding that wedding dress sizes are significantly different than, say, Nordstroms, the dress ended up being too small! It fit in the top, but I literally needed to lose about 6 inches in my hips (impossible!). It felt like the world had crumbled. I searched and searched trying to find a larger size or even a bridal shop that could just order me a new dress. I finally found hope. Phoenix Bride & Groom Magazine had published an article a while back with a picture of a girl wearing the exact dress I was looking for and the dress came from Mariée Bridal. Even though I lived thousands of miles away (I lived in Washington State and the Mariée Bridal is in Arizona), I figured it was worth a shot to see if they had any dresses in my size. I knew it was a shot in the dark since they design was already 2 years old. I emailed them on their website and they called me WITHIN 5 MINUTES! I couldnt believe they responded that fast!! Unfortunately, they didnt have the dress anymore, but they said they would check with the designer and see if he still had some. A couple days later, they told me they could order me a new one. The only problem was the price...I had blown my whole budget on the first dress! After several days, I finally had to face the reality that there was no way I could afford to buy another one. Again, I felt like it was the end of the world! I wrote back and explained my situation more to them and apologized. They were so sympathetic and then, understanding my situation even better, they came up with the perfect solution. They asked me if I knew a good Seamstrist up in Washington (fortunately I did have one!) and they checked with the designer and found out that they could still order extra fabric instead!!! I didnt even think of this as a possibility!!! Mariée Bridal was able to get extra fabric to me with plenty of time for my Seamstrist to make the alterations I needed. It was a miracle! They completely saved my entire wedding!!! I honestly have no idea what I wouldve done without them! I was able to wear my dream dress because of them!! And they were able to help me out from thousands of miles away!!! They were always so attentive, quick to respond or call me with updates, etc. Ive seen many friends get married and theyve never had such a positive experience with their bridal shops from their own states, so to have people who Ive never even met before help me from so far away like this was truly amazing!! I highly recommend them to anyone!!!! Even more so to those of you searching for a stunning Ian Stuart Dress! They will definitely be able to make your dream come true!! :):)

I live in Las Vegas and traveled to Scottsdale, Arizona to visit my sister. I had seen some Ian Stuart dresses in a magazine and fallen in love! Then I found out the prices and knew they were at the top of my price range. My sister and I decided to go out and try some dresses on. I really wanted to get away from the retail chain stores like Davids Bridal and Alfred Angelos. So we went to one store, which was still very retail feeling. Then we had an appointment at Mariee Gallery. We walked in and were pleasantly surprised. It is such a cute shop. Carrie gave us a wonderful tour explaining each of the brands they carry and telling us the differences. She is a wealth of knowledge about the fabrics, styles, and designers. I believe she spent time working in the wedding fashion industry in Europe and has a great understanding of accessories and everything that goes into a wedding dress. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a variety of price ranges available and I fell in love with the designer Martina Liana. Her dresses are amazing and she is a newer designer, so her prices are not at the levels of Ian Stuart yet, but I felt her design work looked spectacular for the price. Carrie helped me try on each dress and was very honest about each one. Telling me the pros and cons, etc. I ordered my dress and it came in 3 weeks earlier than what they had said, which was very exciting! I live out of state, so had them ship the dress to me and it arrived in perfect condition. I just got it today. I can hardly wait to try it on. If you want one on one attention, this is definitely the place to go. I am so thankful I found this shop on my first day of dress shopping! They made the experience so easy and pleasant! Finding my dress was the easiest part of wedding planning!

Could not be happier! Ive visited several other bridal shops both in Minneapolis and the Phoenix area and none even compared to Mariee! The owners are incredible and they carry an amazing selection of gowns. My experience at Mariee has been just wonderful from the second I made my appointment. From the get go when I called to make my appointment, I felt like they were setting me up for success and really cared about what I wanted in a bridal gown. They asked me about my budget and the style of gown I was interested in and based on my answers, they recommended a specific designer that they thought would be a good fit. They suggested that I check out the designers website and asked me to call them back with the style number of any dresses that jumped out to me - this way, if they didnt already have the dress in the store they would get a sample for me to try on. I fell in love with a dress by the designer they recommended and they were able to get the sample for me to try on. My search was over - the dress was everything I wanted and more! Dress shopping can be such an overwhelming experience as there are so many choices, so its really helpful to go to a shop where they really know their stuff - and they do at Mariee! They were able to pin point a designer based on my feedback and without their recommendation, I may have never found my perfect dress. They really care about their customers and want to make each brides experience a magical one. There was never any pressure to look at dresses outside of my budget or to buy a dress that I wasnt sure about. It was clear that they just wanted me to find my dream dress and once I did, they were just as happy for me as the friends and family that I had with me.
