If I could give this store zero stars, I would. I usually never write comments but this store did not give me a good experience at all. The first time I came in, I was excited and my measurements were taken to order in my dress. About 5 months later my dress came in. It looked too short by an inch or so. My consultant measured it differently than the other "experts" did. Therefore, my dress came out to be shorter than I had perceived. I came back in and my consultant measured it again, she thought it was short just as I thought. The "experts" came out and measured it differently, but they weren’t there when I first took the measurements. My consultant did nothing to try and solve my problem she then passed me down to two other employees that I had no idea who they were. I guess one of them was the sales manager, who didn’t introduce herself. She asked me what the problem was and I answered but she ended up telling me they did nothing wrong on their side so they cannot compensate for anything. All I wanted was my dress to be exactly how I ordered it. I was there for nearly 2 hours and no one did a thing to solve it. She kept saying it was my fault that I decided to change my shoe heel height, but originally I told my consultant from the beginning that I estimated 4-4.5 inches on my heel and she assured me that there would be plenty of room. I told her I took the consultant’s advice because I thought she was the expert. The manager told me that it was my choice to follow her advice. She kept reciting statements to me that practically said everything was my fault and not theirs so they wouldn’t do anything to help me. She ended up bringing me to tears. No apologies from anyone. The only thing that helped was that the store owner actually called me because she was unhappy with the way things were handled. She gave me a refund on my hollow to hem measurement, but couldn’t reorder the dress. This store has a great selection, but if something is wrong they will not fix things just as the other reviews said. If you do go to this store, make sure your measurements are exactly correct. Get 2 or 3 other employees there to measure and make sure things are consistent. This experience truly was the worst experience I have ever had in my life with customer service, especially being one of the most important. I would not recommend this store to anyone because of the treatment I received.

This is a well stocked store - I was impressed. Good range of prices. As we walked in for our appointment the clerk gave my daughter a form to fill out about her desire in dresses. We entered the mirror area to enjoy the day of wedding dress shopping. After many dresses, my daughter was standing on the dress pedestal, and we were discussing with the Manager and Clerk the price of the SPECIFIC dress she had on. We agreed then and there on a SPECIFIC price for the sample dress. Basically - cash-and-carry for this EXACT dress no alterations, no need to order the dress the size and fit were perfect! The manager and clerk new exactly what size dress she was wearing and quoted me the price for THAT SPECIFIC AND EXACT dress. When we got to the front counter to pay for the dress - with the ENITRE group of us standing there the clerk began to run down the receipt item by item then said, "... and $50 for BB Plus size" WHAT? No mention was EVER initially made about $50 MORE for plus sizes. Nor was $50 MORE mentioned when we had AGREED ON THE EXACT PRICE of the dress she stood in during our discussion. Not only that, isnt it illegal to agree on a firm price then change the price at the register? I can understand adding on the state TAX ...but is there now a SIZE tax? Isnt this a form of discrimination? Was I to stand there and debate a SIZE TAX in front of the entire bridal party AND THE BRIDE about the $50 more because my daughter got a size 20 dress and not the size 8? Not only is it wrong and deceptive - but rude and inappropriate. By the way - No tags on ANY of the dresses differentiated price based on the size of the dress! So if you are a size OVER size 18 be forewarned that you will be charged more...(TAXED) because of your beautiful and shapely size! One star for quality of selection, one for price ranges.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. First off all they measured my daughter wrong. Two different people measured her and got different measurements but then ask the bride, a young woman which she wanted to go with. How could she know, she not the specialist. When the dress came the attendant spent a lot of time in the dressing room with her then went and got another person to ask help her. After 20 minutes they came out and my daughter had the dress on. I could see it was pulling in the rib cage area. They ask her if she could breath and she said yes. I ask if it was too small, they said no. I ask again if the fabric came together in the back and they said yes. We just have trouble with the hidden zippers some time. Later I ask my daughter if they had trouble putting the dress on and she said that they told her it was just the zipper. She couldnt see the back. A week after we got home she put on the dress to show someone and there was a four inch space across her back from the waist to the top of the zipper where the zipper ends because the dress was too small. I called and tried to get some help and question why their workers would lie to me but they would not do anything about it because the bride said it was ok and had signed the bill of sale but it was ok that they had lied to me, which they said never happened. Even in their notes it says that they needed two people to get the dress on and zipped up. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please dont go there. Im sure there are people who have things work out for them but I bet Im not the only one theyve made mistakes with and are unwilling to help. The integrity of a company says a lot about them which there is none. Its all about the sale and covering themselves legally.

We purchased a dress here for our third daughters wedding and had the worst experience. They ordered the dress and had it made the wrong color. We were told we would have to take the white dress even though we ordered ivory. They finally agreed to letting us purchase a size 12 in ivory of the dress she wanted even though we needed a six. They agreed to pay for alterations, but wanted us to use their alterations person in Logan and wait a week before she could see us. We live in Park City and only had three weeks until we needed the dress. luckily I found an amazing woman on my own who literally worked miracles and remade the dress. they finally agreed to a Credit of $250 for the alterations. they also agreed to give us a $70 veil which I was told I could have only if I paid $35 for it. They also promised to obtain lace to aid in the alterations process, which they neglected to order. When I called looking for the lace, I was told they couldnt help me. I was introduced to a "manager", who basically said there was nothing left to do. However, when my daughter contacted the store, she was helped my the real manager who did obtain the lace and veil for us. I would never recommend this store, but I must say when we finally dealt with Barbie, the real manager, we Felt slightly better. Whatever you do, stay away from this store and if you feel it is your only option, avoid Violet at all cost. Worse salesperson in the world and nearly ruined our daughters wedding.
