**UPDATE** After my situation, (which you can read below) the owner, Nicole, called me to discuss my experience. We spoke in detail about my dress size and measurements and how it can be very difficult to estimate how much extra fabric will be required with an expecting bridesmaid, which I completely understand. She was very professional and sympathetic to my situation and encouraged me to bring my dress in to their recommended alterations specialist as she was genuine in wanting to help me cover the cost of the manufacturers defect in my dress. I did let her know that I had already visited a seamstress local to me, since its a bit of a drive from where I live to downtown Chandler, and she was understanding of that and even offered to cover the cost of my alterations! I was certainly not expecting that, nor did I feel that it was even necessary, but she was adamant. Nicole assured me that Uptown Bridal prides themselves in their exceptional customer service and while I didnt have the greatest experience speaking with one of their other representatives, the owner went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I would return to them in the future and would ask directly for the owner, Nicole. I was a bridesmaid in my brothers wedding and his fiancée chose Uptown Bridal for her dress and the bridesmaids dresses. I was only a few months pregnant when we had measurements taken for our dresses and I asked that my dress be ordered two sizes larger than what I measured at since I would be about 7 months pregnant for the wedding and wasnt sure how big I would be. We picked the dresses up about a month and a half prior to the wedding date and upon receiving my dress I noticed immediately that it was WAY too big. At the point of me getting the dress in, I was 6 months pregnant and definitely showing. Even with my increased waist size, I could put the dress on without even unzipping it. When I brought this to the attention of the ladies at Uptown Bridal, they were adamant that they ordered the size I requested based on my measurements. They told me I measured at a 16 in January, which is HIGHLY unlikely considering the fact that I was just in a wedding a month prior to being measured at Uptown and my dress for that wedding was a size 12. Needless to say they wouldnt help me. In addition, there was boning missing in half of the bodice of my dress, which would qualify as a manufacturers defect. Uptown Bridal said the only thing they would be able to do would be to look at the dress, determine if it was in fact a defect on the manufacturers part, and if so, I would have to take the dress to their recommended alterations specialist to fix the dress. They said they would "work with me" on fixing the defected portion, but I would be responsible for the remaining alterations. I would end up paying top dollar for additional alterations that shouldnt have even been necessary and they wouldnt even commit to covering the entire cost of the defected dress. Ultimately, the dresses looked beautiful in the shop but when it came to customer service and Uptown Bridal taking responsibility for their mistake, this dress shop was highly lacking. I would not return there for future services or recommend anyone to them.

Premiere Bridal Boutique! Uptown was head and shoulders above the other stores that I went to. From the moment I clicked onto their website, I knew there was something special about this place. I was right! Every detail about the store and the staff were perfect - my mom, best friend, and I (3 PICKY people!) couldnt find one thing that we would do differently about the store. Moreover, the family-centered staff was incredible! Tonia, Nicole and Diane were lifesavers during our planning process. They were always sweet and professional, making me feel like a princess for my wedding day. They even accommodated my almost-step-daughter, one of whom fancies herself a seven year old designer and was fascinated with the entire process! And when my dress came in wrong from the designer, Diane bent over backward to make it right. I found the dress of my dreams with the help of the fantastic folks at Uptown. Thank you! :-) One thing that worried me a tad was that they did not have an in-house alterations department. I hope one day an alterations guru comes to work for them because then there would be absolutely nothing to grouse about at Uptown. In the meantime, no worries - they sent me to Artful Tailoring and he did a fine job.

The uptown bridal experience was unique and special. I felt so welcome and like I was part of their family. The atmosphere is intimate and I felt like it was all about me (which is exactly how you should feel!) The sisters that own it, as well as the other ladies helping, were so friendly and personable. You can tell that they love what they do. I had contacted a couple other places and really got the feeling that I was just another number and a dollar sign. At uptown I felt like the most beautiful bride to be...ever. The selection of dresses they have are gorgeous and you can easily find something that suits your style and price range. With a smaller, more intimate feel, the experience wasnt overwhelming. I was able to hand pick every dress I tried on (totaled 6) and I found my perfect dress. This is an experience that should be memorable and it was nothing short of just that. Thank you so much for this wonderful memory.

This place was amazing! I bought my dress from them and don’t regret it for a second. Their selection was unique and different from the other dresses I looked at in the other bridal boutiques. It’s owned by a mother and daughter and they hand pick the dresses they display in their store. The prices run about $1500 and up, I bought my dress right off their 50% off rack though and it was a steal (it cost me $1000). It fit me perfectly and wasn’t stained or torn at all. They let you take pictures and don’t make you feel pressured about purchasing a dress. You really do need to make an appointment since there are only 2 of them and they help you get in and out of the dresses. I would highly recommend this place among all other bridal boutiques.

I bought my dress here last week and I am thrilled! I had tried on some wedding dresses at other Bridal shops but my experience here was beyond compare. Uptown bridal has a large assortment in gowns... all styles, price ranges, colors you could ever hope for! My consultant, Ali, was an absolute doll. She was very friendly and professional. I felt like she was part of my wedding party! She had great advice for each gown I tried on and brought me some beautiful suggestions I would have skipped over on the rack. I had so much fun shopping here! I highly recommend Uptown Bridal. They truly have it all. A friend of mine just got engaged and I cannot wait to take her here to try on! I love Uptown Bridal!

Uptown Bridal was an amazing experience! I just purchased my dress from them and was so pleasantly happy with their service, the quality of their merchandise and beautiful atmosphere! They cater to your needs, give honest opinions, do not upsell but rather, assist in finding their customers the best fitting dress for each brides needs. I would reccomend this boutique to any bride looking for a great shopping experience with reasonable pricing. They really made me feel as if I was the only person there and didnt rush me through any of my decision making but really made me feel extra special!
