Store has a large selection of toys, electronics, housewares, and bric-a-brac. The pricing overall is kinda high for a second hand store where all the inventory is donated. I guess this goes hand in hand with all of the valley Goodwill locations jacking up their prices over the last couple of years. There is no consistency in pricing though so you need to check back often and will find a deal on whatever it is you seek. There is a bit of stock that is stagnant and needs to be reduced lower to just rid the store of it. Many electronics will have multiple pieces listed on tag but then be missing them. Electronics pricing seems to be the most inaccurate of products. The staff marks prices way high in preparation for 50% off days. I was told this by one of the staff, though they also stated they arent supposed to do that. If it doesnt sell though prices remain at high price. No leniency in pricing regardless of reason. 35 DVD set was priced individually (3.49 ea) making it quite expensive to buy complete set. Asked of would accept $50 for all $35 as opposed to $122 and was told not allowed. Keep in mind I shop this location a few times a week, always buying something. Overall I gave it 3 stars because I have gotten some good buys here. Although there is many areas it can improve, it is far better than some locations Ive been to in the valley.

The guys at the drop-off were super friendly and prompt to help unload our items.. however the cashier tonight was probably the worst cashier Ive ever had to do a transaction with. No lights were on for a register but a lady had just finished making an announcement so I asked her if she was able to ring me up. She walked away and flipped on her light with out a word. I put all my items on the register and she heaved and exhaled like she just ran a marathon. After ringing my items she placed her body so it was literally facing away from me. She only slightly turned when I handed her my card. She asked for a donation, the only audible thing that came out of her mouth the entire transaction, then put my card on the counter. Then cleared her throat and placed my reciept and pen on the counter. I said excuse me? And she jestured toward the reciept and mumbled. I looked at my boyfriend to make sure I wasnt the only one seeing the lovely behavior as her back was toward me yet again... Look I understand people having bad days.. then i understand when people just outright need to remove their head from their ass. None of my other trips to this location have ever been bad. Hope this lady gets a better outlook on life.

I thought Goodwills are suppose to help the community. I went here hoping to get a couple VHS ya know for a buck or two... but here they are $4.99... I also noticed that some of their kids books were ripped and colored in and some even had stickers that read "Big Lots .99" and GoodWill also charged the same .99 price. I also saw a wood dresser for $250... Isnt $250 is a little ridiculous for a GoodWill? And looking for curtains/sheets/baby blankets I noticed a lot of fabrics with cat/dog/animal hair and it just grossed me out! There were some art paintings for $25 as well. To me these prices seem a little higher then I am use to paying for used stuff.

Absolutely terrible company. Nothing but a sweatshop. How so? Pay attention to how their motto is worded! "We put people TO work". Not "We put people BACK TO work". Wake up people! And they claim to be helping the community/world. Manager even got fired for stealing money! Pretty much stopped showing up for his shifts a long awhile before that even! How is a store supposed to operate efficiently without an actual manager around! This company is for nothing but lowlife people and very much needs to go under, but sadly never will. Do your research and you will see I am correct on everything.

Not happy with the business practices there. I have seen twice now high priced items disappear on 50% off day and re appear the following day, also tag color for daily specials are rigged or changed and Prices are way too high. They check market prices on the internet through EBay and other sites I was told and Ive found electrical items clearly made to look UN broken to deceive the customer. And to have the nerve to ask for a donation at the counter after playing dirty pool shows a broken moral compass and a burnt out heart light

I love the variety of stuff, huge selection. The staff however.. Not friendly. As if I were asking too much from them.. And at the register I had no clue the transaction was even over. I was like "ok thank you have a good night" all she said (with her backed turned) was "you too". Customer service is key people.. Seriously. I wont come here or tell my people to. And we are some goodwilling mer fers..

Clean store, The usual stuff, an occasional find! The goodwill I USED TO KNOW, would price things properly up front so when 50% off day came you would really be getting a bargain. The www Way it is done now you would think that everything is new and your at the mall! CUT BACK YOUR 50% off days to one a month and price everything accordingly.

Ms Rikki at this store rocks! I called 3 other stores looking for something and she was the only one to actually go look to see if she had one. Linksys WiFi come on... What do you mean you dont have ANY at all? Every store that sells anything WiFi has at least one Linksys something.... Way to go Rikki and thanks for checking!

I LOVE the cashiers they are very helpful and patient with me. There names are Riki and Patty and they are honestly two of the most helpful people in the store. The store is very clean, smells good,and organized. Overall almost everyone is very helpful in the store. Prices are good. Overall GREAT STORE.

Staff is friendly and theres a decent selection of second hand items. I come here often to raid the fabrics section. If youre crafty, this place is a gem! Ive also found a good amount of clothing in great condition and kitchen ware. Its much more economical and easier on my wallet to buy second hand!

Super friendly staff and the store is organized very neatly. From different color gradients in each section and super tidy. Workers are always going through the aisles redoing the hangers on most clothing.

This Goodwill always has a great selection of not only clothes but also books and movies and CDs, is organized well, and has a friendly staff. Props, Val Vista Goodwill. Mad props.
