Shopping at Costco on S Market St Gilbert isnt worth being treated rudely by the staff. The elderly people are disrespected and talked down to (witnessed many times). When you check out, they treat you like your stealing something as they hoover over you looking in your cart as you wait your turn in the long lines to check out. No smile or a cordial hello as theyre doing this, pure silence even if you smile and say hello to them. God forbid you want to grab something to eat or drink while shopping, they cant run fast enough to tell you that your shopping cart cant pass the imaginary line...they have two receipt check out clerks by the door, so it is obvious you cant leave the store without paying and presenting a paid receipt so whats the problem grabbing something to drink or eat while shopping? Now going to Sams Club down the street, completely opposite, they greet you with a smile at the door and the people working there has ALWAYS treated us with respect and go out of their way to assist. Oh, no problem grabbing something to eat or drink with your shopping cart and return back shopping. THE BOTTOM LINE, Sams Club must have a great manager for their workers to be happy when helping us customers. Costcos manager has to go back to school to learn now to train their employees on how to treat their customers with respect and assist with a smile like Sams Club does. A good manager shows by the way their employees treat their customers, Costco manager must be terrible for their employees to treat us so badly. I will never renew my membership at Costco...it isnt worth being treated with disrespect every time we go there nor seeing the elderly treated so rudely. What a waste of money. If you want to be treated with respect and have employees assist you with a smile, shop at Sams Club and WinCo. They know how to treat their customers.

The tire center will pull a fast one if you dont catch them. You have been warned. Ive been shopping at Costco for years so I decided to get my tires replaced on my 2010 Prius there. Their prices were very reasonable and they said they had my tire in stock. After waiting for an hour for them to finish replacing all 4 tires I paid for them and went home. It was there that I noticed the tire size Costco replaced didnt match the manufacture recommended size posted on the inside of my car door. I immediately called the sales person who sold me those tires and asked him why did he sell me the wrong tires. He said theres really not a big difference between 195 and 185 and beside he didnt have the 195 in stock. Now granted there might not be significant difference between the 2 sizes but Costco should at least tell consumers the differences in sizes and have the consumer make that decision for themselves. I told them Im not OK with the smaller size tire and requested the correct size. He said he would have to have it delivered from their other Costco location but it would cost me $16 more to switch out to the bigger size. I told him the LEAST they can do for lying to me and having me make a second trip and wait another hour is to comp the $16. He OKed it his manager. Hopefully by writing here Ill save someone the hassle of dealing with unethical automotive people. Its stuff like this that gives a bad name to the auto repair business.

I recently purchased a Samsung Note 3 from the Costco warehouse. It was one of my more pleasurable experiences in purchasing a cell phone. The entire transaction went smooth and flawlessly and their staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Not only do you receive instant rebate on your cell phone, but they also give you a 90 day price match on your selection . In addition to my purchase, they offered me a free accessory bundle kit including a car charger, phone case, screen protector, and zip up travel pouch for all of my phones accessories, and also informed me of a free 6 gigabyte upgrade to my service plan which Verizon had failed to do. But those are just the bonuses. The main reason I purchased from costco was because of their Square Trade insurance plan policy. For $100 you can insure your phone for 2 years and they allow you up to 4 damage claims for a $25 deductible each time. The replacement phone you receive is not a refurbished phone like you receive with Verizons insurance policy. This is far better than pain 7 or 8 dollars a month on your verizon monthly bill and then having to pay a $100 deductible for only up to two times during the life of your phone. I will be making all is my future self on purchases through Costco Wholesale. Thank you for the great customer service I look forward to doing business with you again in the future.

So apparently CostCo doesnt have to respect Arizona state law regarding firearms and open carry. Per Arizona State Law 4-229. Licenses; Handguns; Posting of Notice A. A person may carry a concealed handgun on the premises of a licensee who is an on-sale retailer unless the licensee posts a sign that clearly prohibits the possession of weapons on the licensed premises. The sign shall conform to the following requirements: 1. Be posted in a conspicuous location accessible to the general public and immediately adjacent to the liquor license posted on the licensed premises. 2. Contain a pictogram that shows a firearm within a red circle and a diagonal red line across the firearm. 3. Contain the words, "no firearms allowed pursuant to A.R.S. section 4-229" To item A-1: I was told multiple times that CostCo didnt have to post a sign as it was private property. Wrong. To item A-2: Again no sign posted, when asked to speak to a manager I was told that I needed to leave. I will NEVER shop here again.

I took one of our cars in for a tire rotation today (4/14/17 10:22 AM) . I waited inside the store for 1 hr and 1 minute when they called me on my cellphone. They stated that I need new lug nuts and that they can not do the tire rotation without the new lug nuts. I asked them why do I need new lug nuts. "They stuck in our guns when we tried to remove them" the rep replied Its problem free when we put on four new tires for four of our cars.. but when you come in for free services that are included with new tires installation like flat repair or tire rotation :/ theres always something.. I took the tires off and rotated them myself in the garage after I got home. I dont have the proper tools but interesting of what you can do by hands while they can not using air compressed air tools. I spent 1 hr and 15 minute at Costco for nothing. Thank you for wasting my time.

THE CASHIERS HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. I went for the first time to Costco with some family and as soon as we came up to the register, the two ladies there gave us attitude for putting our soy milk on the belt? I had no clue we had to leave some stuff in our cart for them because 1) I shop at Sams Club and theyre required to transfer everything (for reasonable purposes), so I assumed Costco did the same. The other problem we had was the payment. We went to the membership desk and the guy told us the credit card was activated but the cashiers were telling us a whole different story. My dads English is very broken and the ladies showed their racist side and made ugly faces at him while he was trying to talk to them. I had to jump in because I was super agitated with them. The whole experience was super bad. Never again.
