I would never do business with them again. I feel they lack integrity. 2 years ago I was looking to put in roughly 1200 square feet of hardwood flooring. After looking at all their samples, we became interested in bamboo flooring. We asked our sales rep about it and he said it was a good product. We told him that we wanted no expansion joints...just a smooth floor throughout the 3 areas we were flooring which was a large area. We asked if there were any known issues with this type of flooring. He mentioned that we should read the product sheet. We asked again if there were known issues. He did not mention any. I rented a trailer to get roughly 45 boxes of material to my home. They loaded the wrong product to my trailer and had to bring the correct material and swap it out the next week. They brought one person. After opening all of the boxes and letting it sit for 8+ weeks, the product information suggests 5-6 weeks, we had it installed. 4 months later we noticed shrinking. Not just a little but big gaps. It kept getting worse. We had to live with it for 6 months until we thought all the shrinking would be finished. We then had the complete floor pulled up and re-installed. Within the next 6 months we noticed more shrinking, but not nearly as much as before. Here is why I do not like Lumber Liquidators. When we reported the problem, they asked if we had put in expansion joints or had installed a humidifier in our home? We read the product guide, it said to open the product and let it acclimate for 5-6 weeks. We also reminded him that we had specifically mentioned we would not install expansion joints. We opened the flooring and let it sit for 8+ weeks. We were told they would do nothing about it. Then we found out that at the time of our purchase LL had several other complaints of severe shrinking by this product. They said nothing to us even when we asked specifically about this issue. LL gave us the number of the manufacturer. We were told we could hire an independent contractor, from their list, for $400.00 to inspect but it we had not put in expansion joints and a humidifier, it would get denied. Lumber Liquidators not only failed to tell us about other customers problems that they were aware of, they failed to tell us, after we asked specifically if there were know problems, especially after we stated we did not want a product that required expansion joints for a large area. If LL would have told us of the issues, we likely would have bought a different product from them and avoided the issues. I wont go back there.

Purchased engineered hardwood from this location. Purchased based on the sales persons recommendation. Within 3-4 months the wood began to buckle and crack. After working with LL for over 2 months my claim was denied because of "low humidity" levels. I purchased from a Utah location. They should not be selling products that dont mesh well with the 2nd driest state in the nation. The floor was installed based on all recommendations. I would not have purchased if I would have been informed of the woods intolerance to low humidity levels. The customer service process was terrible it took 3 weeks to get one of their inspector out there and another 3 weeks to deny my claim. I would have understood had they instructed me to install a whole home humidifier, but they didnt. I was sold a "good durable product that should last for years". I guess they are okay with selling faulty product and not backing that product - at all!

I bought the vinyl lock-style flooring, which is a great product, but you can get it at Home Depot/Lowes or any other flooring company (sometimes for a better price). My issue was that at Lumber Liquidators I was encouraged to buy a lot of extra materials "just in case" and was told I could return any extras. They have, however, a 30-day return policy (in fine print and not disclosed by salespeople). As a weekend warrior, I had to chip away at the project as I had time, and when I tried to return my extra flooring after 30 days there was no exception made and I was stuck with 17 extra boxes. Being able to return the extra product would have more than made up the difference of paying slightly higher price of Home Depot (or any other store). These guys are just not customer-oriented and arent willing to go out of their way for you.

I recently purchased a butcher block island countertop through Lumber Liquidators. The model that I wanted was not in stock, so they had to have it shipped to their store from the east coast (which would take a couple of weeks, no problem). There ended up being some issues with the transit of my order, but the guys at Lumber Liquidators not only made sure I was able to take home a butcher block on the day specified, but they also gave me a higher quality wood at no extra charge. These guys are awesome and went above and beyond what I would have expected. Not only are they the cheapest place around, but they also have the best service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone in the market of hardwood floors, wood countertops, etc. Thanks guys!

Before you purchase anything from this store google search Lumber Liquidators online. There are huge lawsuits against them for defective and health damaging chemicals in their product. Lumber liquidators removes all bad reviews of their product on their websites. There are plenty of other reputable stores to buy from. Floor and Decor in draper has far better prices and selection. Even Home depot will beat their prices, and will actually handle warranty issues. Also watch out for LLs really high restocking fee that their sales clerks do not mention. The restocking fee is 20% which is flat out predatory!

Poor customer service. Products offered rarely in stock. Given wrong product resulting in additional trip required to another location to pick up the correct product. If you are buying flooring this is a great option to get cheap everything including treatment.

Great pricing, great customer service. Wish they offered more than just wood floor, but its not like they advertise otherwise and maybe their prices wouldnt be so great if they didnt specialize....
