The person I spoke with was rude and had a major attitude. She was not helpful at all and acted like my request was crazy... I called the shop beforehand to make sure they could do the tattoo I wanted as it would be a little more complex. I wanted 3 words in my late stepfathers handwriting. I had 2 of the words complete in his handwriting and just needed one word pieced together from a note of his that had all the letters. She confirmed they could do it and when I showed up and re explained it she looked at me like I was crazy. Her response was that they couldnt do it and that I could just pick a font off the computer that was close to his handwriting. I explained that the point of the tattoo was that it would be in his handwriting...not a font close to it. Long story short she was totally rude and acted like I was asking for the impossible. I went home, took a photo of the note, cropped the letters together of the ONE word, and added the other two complete words in about 20 minutes. I obviously went elsewhere to get the THREE words tattooed, along with two other family members. I would not recommend this shop if your tattoo needs any more effort than picking a font off a computer.

Nice clean environment in a great location. All the artists seem to do a really good job from my observation. Fernando was my artist and was a cool guy that did a nice job on my tattoo. Im only giving 4 stars due to the fact that they dont accept credit cards. Its a bit silly in 2016. Although they do advertise with V/MC stickers and a machine. I was told that it was only for the owners.

After a great deal of research(6 months), looking at many tattoo parlors in the Phoenix area. I decided to go with 5th Estate. The attention to detail was phenomenal. The environment was extremely clean and the friendly staff made me feel very comfortable. I had a difficult cover-up. The artistry in the cover-up was top notch. I went to Fifth Estate Tattoo for my first tattoo. I was a bit nervous, but everyone was so friendly that I relaxed in no time. The shop was clean and well taken care of. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. My tattoo turned out great! Overall, it was a very good experience. I would recommend them to anyone.

Top notch! My husband and I have been having Timo do our work now for 2+ years. They are amazing artists, very professional and a very clean environment. I love the comradery between the artists and Retta too! They make you feel very comfortable. Just a great shop and will continue to have my work done here.

5th estate tattoo is amazing! From all the great tattoo artists in the shop to the incredible art work they have on the walls, 5th estate is one of the best. The shop is clean, everybody is friendly, and it is a comfortable environment. Go to Lex, I promise you wont regret it!

Didnt ask for id, filled out no paperwork, would not take any kind of card, cash only. Feels like it was under the table. For as many great reviews it was very sketchy, disappointed and feel taken advantage of. Artist was good and sanitary but front desk was lack luster.

I love this place. I will continue to go for all my future tattoos. All the artists are professional and extremely talented, I see Mary and would highly recommend her but they are all great soI even if she is booked you cant go wrong atyou 5th Estate!

Amazing! Iv been to several places to get work done and by far Timo @ 5th estate is the best! He has done 3 tattoos for me now and i love them all!!!! Fabulous work and super friendly! Check them out before you go any where else!
