I have gotten 2 tattoos and 1 piercing at Hot Rod Tattoo and I cant say enough good things about them. The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful and they made me feel so welcome everytime I stopped in; the shop is also aesthetically much nicer than most tattoo shops. I love both of my tattoos and have gotten so many compliments on the artistry; it is next level work that they do. My piercing experience was also great, and I love my new septum ring. I saw another review somewhere saying they are too expensive but heres the thing, you dont go to Hot Rod just to get a tattoo for the hell of it, you go there because you want a piece of high quality art on your body for the rest of your life. I think something thats that much of a commitment is worth paying a little bit extra (and I certainly found the prices totally reasonable for the quality). 5 star experience.

Hotrod Tattoo is the best place to get ink. I moved to Az from MA and have been looking for a great artist to do my head tattoo. My brotherinlaw recommend Kris Cagle to do my tat. Well let me tell you, KrisCagle did an awesome tat for me. He is super friendly and knowledgeable and extremely talented. I absolutely love my ink! And i am going back for more! The pricing is very reasonable and affordable. The shop is impeccable! It is a high end spa atmoshere, the staff are friendly and pleasant. This is not your typical tattoo shop, you are made to feel very comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend this shop whether its your first tattoo or your fiftyith, This is the place to go! Thk you Kris and the girls of Hotrod Tattoo for making my first AZ visit an enjoyable and comfortable experience! You guys Rock!

This place and the artists are a class act. Every single tat that my family and I have had has surpassed our expectations. The new location is superb as is the service. My appointment was delayed by half an hour as the one before me went a bit longer than anticipated, it happens. HRT called me and apologized for that and let me know that they were running ~30 minutes behind. Now wouldnt you like your doctors office to offer that same courtesy? :):) Eric has been and will remain our artist and we would not go anywhere else. Its the trust that we put in him and HRT. My recent tat done by Eric has received more compliments from perfect strangers than I had ever anticipated. It truly is a gorgeous work of art. Matt has also done a couple of tats for our kids and theyre absolutely stunning.

I have been going to Jesse Kube for my tattoos for over 3 years now. I have had all 5 done by him. Their reputation and standard for the cleanest tattoo shop around is definately upheld and noticed. I had a buddy also get some work done by Mario and he did amazing work also. They have a tattoo artist there for every type and variety of work. Prices are great and they have always lived up to their free touch-up standard. I have had 4 large tattoos touched up and it never cost me a thing. I would highly reccomend this establishment over Club Tattoo anyday. Much more friendly and down to earth. They dont need bragging rights to prove their work is the best. Just take a look for yourself.

My girlfriends and I are in Az on vacation from MN celebrating our 50th birthdays! We decided to get tattoos together. We walked in late with high hopes. The owner was so accommodating and asked If anyone would stay late to help us. Gene was our man. He was so awesome and he put the "first timers" right at ease. He was professional and thorough and so easy to be around. The shop is beautiful and clean. We absolutely loved our experience and could not be happier with our new ink! We all highly recommend Gene!!! Thanks again Gene-from your educator friends in MN! Beth will keep you in mind for that Assistant Principal position!

My sister was visiting from Michigan and we only had 1 day to try to get tattoos together. We know its not easy to walk in and get good artists to work with you but we got lucky. Josh And Dana were available and they didnt want to rush us and made us feel very comfortable. The shop was very nice and clean with really cool merchandise too. Josh did 2 great pieces for my sister and Dana knocked my tattoo out of the park. I was also very surprised to learn that they gave me a 25% Military Discount. My boyfriend and I wanted on-the-whim tattoos while on vacation. After seeing reviews online and on facebook, and seeing pictures of how clean the place was, we called and were quickly able to make appointments. From ease of making those appointments, to the cleanliness of the shop, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, we couldnt have been happier with the experience we had here. Kris, our tattoo artist was able to put his spin on our tattoos and making excellent suggestions, along with making the experience of the tattoo easy as well.

Was looking for a place to get a couple of piercings done at, this place showed up with the best reviews. I went in on a Monday and had to make an appointment a couple days later which I did not mind at all. I was pleasantly impressed by how clean the shop is. The staff is also very friendly, very helpful and professional. I liked that they sent me a text the day before reminding me of my appointment. Gene did my piercings he was great, friendly, and very precise gave me great aftercare instructions. I highly recommend this place.

I had sketched out what I wanted. The tattoo artist took my sketch and perfected it. He also spent another hour with me to change some things on it, to make it exactly how I wanted before tattooing. It came out looking AWESOME! And I got it with a great price too. The staff also was great. I would recommend them to anyone. Also, they dont pick the artist, they have you do. Which allows to get the best person to do your tattoo. I really appreciate their work. And my guess is you will too.

Hotrod Tattoo is a class act. I did a lot of researching before deciding on Hotrod for my tattoo and I clearly made the best choice. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and not "judgy" like some other tattoo shops. Very clean and inviting shop, too. Kris did an amazing job on my tattoo! He is so friendly, knowledgeable, easy-going and made the whole experience really enjoyable, though slightly painful ;). I would highly recommend Kris for everyone!

An amazing place with amazing artists. I recommend Brian. Hes very passionate about what he does. Hes a true artist and a true tattoo artist. He makes sure every little detail looks perfect.
