Paid $59 to for diagnostic at another shop and was quoted almost $400 to remedy. The other shop told me my Windows system was not a good one and recommended an upgrade. Said that my virus protection on my computer was inadequate, and that he had never even heard of it (was a top rated virus protection suite at that time, tested by Consumer Reports. His recommended suite was one of the lowest rated). When you already spend money for diagnosis, you feel compelled to use the same shop to recoup that fee. I chose to get a second opinion at Big Byte and got my computer fixed and added much more GB of storage to boot, for $160. Yay! Thanks!

Smart and friendly, Big Byte Computers is always my GOTO (old programming joke there) shop for anything PC related. Ive had a number of computers built by them and Ive never been disappointed. Mike (the local PC tech) definitely knows his stuff!
