This is a community hardware store that offers a welcome change to shopping at typical "Big-Box" stores. It is staffed by friendly and smiling employees who are readily available to assist with product location or to offer helpful advice. The store is well stocked, managed and maintained. The checkout process is fast and efficient. Although their products may be a little more costly than the "Big-Box home improvement stores, the additional cost is often offset by the personalized service and convenience of not having to drive outside the community. As a resident of Anthem, I make a conscious effort to shop locally. It is evident Ace Hardware of Anthem appreciates that effort by providing excellent customer service.

Cust service by one man was horrible and offensive! I have shopped there for many years and get along with the owner well. One man treated me so disrespectfully, I can believe it. A manager watched the whole thing and when asked if everything was alright, I told her what had happened and the man is still working there. Also I would advise to never buy a tool there because there is a no return policy on tools although I have never read that policy anywhere, and I have looked hard. They wont even exchange a tool for the same tool. I wont be supporting the local store from here on out and will drive the extra one mile to home depot.

I had a project that I put off for a while...went to a big box store and they offered to sell me a tool for 100 bucks and as i stood there it dawned on me that ace would be the place. Went to ace and Bill and Corey spent 5 minutes with me and solved my problem at no charge to me. They were extremely helpful and i am thankful for their knowledge and creativity! Thank you ace we love you!

Top notch customer service! The big box home improvement stores dont even come close. I was amazed at the selection considering the size of the store. The pet/livestock supplies was the part that impressed me the most. Try to find something like that at H**e D***t or L***s.

I always enjoy going in Ace Hardware in Anthem, AZ. I was only buying a 99 cent can of paint and they gave me the same courteous customer service as the lady before me buying 2 gallons of paint.

This ace is one of two in all of phoenix that I like to go to, great hardware selection and very friendly staff. Prices at this location cannot be beat, even less expensive than home depot!
