I have Lived in Ahwatukee since 1989, when 40th & Chandler was a corn field & there was only safeway & Plaza hardware ..Chandler blvd & the bridge were one lane each way! Anyway, I have been shopping at Plaza Hardware all these years because they care, provide the Utmost in customer service, as several people have stated, they will actually let you make sure you have the right nut/bolt/product before you buy it. Try that at Home Depot or Lowes!! Every time I walk out of Plaza hardware Im sure they have provided me with the correct item for my needs, because they have actually experienced the problem themselves.I can go on & on & on about all the experiences,products,problems they helped me fix & just plain old Great Service they provide..But you have to go in and experience it for yourself.They are one of the last places in Ahwatukee you can shop at where it matters to them if your happy or not..They truely DO CARE. Stop there first before Home Depot or Lowes and help a community business stay around for another 32+ years!!! You will be glad you did... Thanks.... Long time Resident (Mike)

A few weeks ago I was doing some home repairs and needed to get some supplies. Honestly, I didnt want to go to a huge, bulk hardware store again. The customer service is awful at those places. I called up a friend who I know to be pretty handy and he told me about Plaza Hardware. He said their staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I decided to give it a try and he was absolutely right. I spent about 45 minutes just speaking with an employee about what I was working on at home. He took the time to go through step by step what I needed to do and what I needed to get it done. That would never have happened at one of the big shops. I cant say enough good stuff about Plaza Hardware. I have found my spot for the foreseeable future.

I visit this store weekly. Its always my first stop before the Lowes or Home Depot nearby, so as to circulate more money within the community. The staff is very helpful and know what theyre talking about. When I needed a socket for my motorcycle axle nut, one of the workers grabbed a socket and walked outside with me to make sure it was the correct size (which it was, on his first guess). Try walking out of Home Depot to test fit a socket. They also run a pool service, and as per usual they really know their stuff.

I love this store. The staff is very attentive, and knowledgeable about their products and how best to use the product. I am always amazed at the inventory that is held inside this small, independently owned hardware store. There is a Home Depot and Lowes within three miles of my house and I go to Plaza Hardware first.

Been coming here first for my hardware and pool needs since 1996. In the door, get what I need, and out the door again in a minute or two. Why spend half an hour searching in frustration at the depot when I can get most of what I need so quickly easily at Plaza Hardware?
