Went in to buy some things that i saw in the flyer. They did not carry the item,so they said they would special order it. BUT, I had to buy 2 since they dont carry it. WHY it is in the flyer that comes in the mail. They also informed me i couldnt return the other one they would not allow it. I did not need 2 them. Why would you advertise something you cant buy and then make you special order more than you want. This is not the first time I have gone into this store and want to buy the advertised item. The store assistant manager or manager on duty she was not very nice or offer me the item they did stock in the store. Being the only hardware store for miles guess customer service doesnt matter. I have always found the men in the store to be more helpful and courteous.. I will try to avoid the store and you might also.

I havent been here much because their prices are high but rented a steam cleaner. Steam cleaner was fine but upon returning it was asked to clean it - in the customer checkout aisle- while cashiers watched. Absolutely humiliating experience! While I understand that the agreement was that we would clean it up (which we did) when we tried to check it in they brought out a special tool that was needed to clean the brushes how they wanted them cleaned. If you know this is an issue either send that tool home or let us know what an alternative would be to clean it. Having a customer dressed professionally for work cleaning the machine in the checkout aisle is terrible customer service. Doubt I will use them again in the future.

Wanted to rent their submersible pool pump and its NEVER available. Been waiting for weeks. I asked why and they said "all we got it 1 pump for rent". I asked the guy attending the pool desk, " Why on earth would you guys only rent 1 pump? This is Arizona for God sakes. You guys could make a killing". The only response the guy could muster was "Oh well, it is what it is". Wow really. I drove into the Chandler Home Depot, and they had like 50 available for rent. I was in and out in 10 minutes. So apparently the customers in Maricopa dont mean enough to this Ace Hardware to have what we need. And apparently dont care either. They have lost my business, and I do ALOT of home projects. Very disappointed.

Apparently this place only gives Military discounts on Wednesdays. Not like we served 24/7 365. Thanks for the disrespect Sara I would love to wait for you to count my cash and explain how you have a second job to go to after youre done. Not even a thank you for your service or anything... just "OH IM SORRY WE ONLY FEEL PATRIOTIC ON WEDNESDAYS"! I think you were too lazy to do the math on 220$ with a discount. Not like everything is over priced anyways.

They always try there best, great customer service. Ive never had a problem getting my veterans discount on wednesdays. They are cheaper than home Depot on some things but the convenience of being in town makes it better than driving into Chandler to save a dollar on what there not.

Very rude staff. Never appear to have anything helpful to say when asked and act as though youre not there or inconvenienced when you speak to them. Overpriced with a smaller selection than in other ACE stores. Better off leaving town and going to a competitor.

Home Depot and Lowes staff could learn from ACE staff. They are friendly and very helpful. My first time there you could hear one employee walking through the store offering help to customers. Its like that was his role for that shift. Amazing!

They have a guy greeting you when you walk in. You tell him what you need, he tells you what aisle to go to. He "radios" someone to meet you there and help you find what you need. Fast, efficient, and friendly. Who could ask for anything more?

I have tried for weeks to have a screen door installed on my patio, while the price was not bad, I have had nothing but trouble getting anyone to follow up with me. They are always late for appointments and do not return phone calls.

i love ace hardware. Their staff are amazing and always helpful. They know my name and my kids. Sure they may not have what a home depot or lowes would, but good luck getting even a cashier to ring you up at those places.

I went to ace hardware in Maricopa AZ. I asked for a military discount and the lady in the register said " ONLY ON WEDNESDAYS" wow. home depot has it everyday, veteran parking and its cheaper. dont bother with ace

I must admit that I am one of them guys that makes multiple trips to ACE and since they have been in Maricopa, they are very consistent with service. I grew up on ACE and I wont waste time with the big stores.

Ace REALLY is the helpful place. The Maricopa Ace hardware is "stocked with knowledgeable friendly people who know their business. No better place to go when you need advice and items for home repairs
