This place is absolute garbage. The employees do nothing to help, and several times Ive waited in line for the cashier to say "Sorry I cant get your vegetables my scale is broke". No sign on the register or anything. Managers here couldnt care less. The customers are beyond trashy and like to huddle up in groups and block off aisles talking, try to start fights in the middle of the store, speed through the parking lot, will take things out of your cart if you leave it unattended Actually had some idiot almost hit me with their car in front of the store as I was walking across the crosswalk because he was speeding and literally looking behind him. When I yelled at him "watch where youre going!" I was followed into the store, threatened and harassed. The guy actually wanted to fight me in the middle of the store after ALMOST RUNNING ME OVER. I told him "Are you serious right now? You want to fight me in the middle of walmart, with security cameras everywhere and a cop outside, after you almost ran over me?" Of course hes a "hard" thug so he kept on and none of the employees did anything. I walked off to try to find the cop and the guy left. If you go later at night, the entire parking lot is covered in trash, perfectly representing this store, its employees and customers as a whole. Ill never go back to this walmart--Ill do my shopping at Greers or Winn Dixie from now on.

SmartStyle Hair Salon Terrible! Awful! Humiliating dye job and hair cut! Mean management, there are simply not enough horrible words to describe the people and the establishment. my first clue should have been the burn marks on the walls let alone my head. Save your poor hair, had to theraten to call the police for a refund. I was told I had to pay the hair stylist CRYSTAL before she had to clock out so I did long before she was even half way down with my hair. She came back amd just dyed half my head Hitler follower blonde. Went back the next day after calling and camplaining, because SHIRLEY MORRIS the manager told me she would fix it went back in and she says its too damaged to be fixed! I cant even wear a hat because my head literally burns! I told her I would post on here as well as walmart since they are the host to such a terrible salon. I will attempt to post a pic so everyone can see what a 2 year old could have done to my hair. And I will also post a pic of what I had laying on her table the whole time to tell her what I wanted.

Stood at jewelry counter for 10 min... Then ask a check out woman to call for us ... To get someone...she looked at me like I had 3 heads then told me to go to customer service. Why should I have to do your job when you and two other ladies are standing 3 feet away from me and my boyfriend, laughing and talking about us... In the meantime, some lady threatened to murder her child and then warned the child that shed beat him more if the cops arrested her. For killing him ???!!! In Walmart. This is by far the most ghetto not racially...both the white folks and black folks alike are equally annoying...rude ... unhelpful... And act as if u are putting them out when asked to do there job. I know why I love fresh market, whole foods, and Winn Dixie. So what Id rather pay 50 percent mark up to more have to deal with the (excuse my language) s#&t show that is Dauphin street Walmart. Thanks I wont be back unless its the end of the world.

No Care for Car: I have been there twice in the last two weeks. I purchased 4 tires there and purchased the "tire insurance". My tire got a slow leak (senor on every 2 days) and brought it. I was told "can not fix slow leak because it looks like alignment problem". Went to Firestone...they fixed for $8 2 weeks ago and all is well. Why pay Walmart for "tire insurance" that promises to fix such leaks? Brought the car in today for oil change. Without even looking up the car make and model the worker said "Sorry no oil filters in stock". Kind of odd. I think the care care center management has a problem. The workers are often MIA and sitting in corners and things. Big store...lots of things in it to buy. It appears the "car care" wants to close though. Time to got to Firestone or Pep Boys I guess. They care because that is what they do.

I have never been to such a dirty store in all my life. I had a full basket of groceries and saw a group of tomatoes with white mold all over them just blatantly standing out in the middle of the tomato display. I just left the food in the basket and left the store without buying anything. I will never be back. I advise that no one ever shop here, the tomato wasnt all that was disgusting - it actually smells in the entire store. The lines are horribly long too. I waited with 15 people in front of me one time (that was before the tomato incident when I vowed never to go back). I also find it strange that they have to have police walk the stores for safety too. They need to shut down this store...

In all the years this one has been open, it remains the GHETTO WALMART. This morning I, along with 5 others, had to put all there things down and leave because #1 there WASNT a self check out open #2 there was only 1 register open #3 the people working there just didnt care that there were at least 8 customers waiting between 2 lines on 2 customers whos transactions were holding up the lines...SOME OF US HAVE TO GO TO WORK. Ive never been to a Supercenter and not even 1 self check is open? WTH? And btw, the floor guy is just smearing dirty water all over the floor and it looks filthy like the rest of the store, including the parking lot.

The WORST Wal mart in all of Mobile. It must be a requirement to be rude and not care about your job to work here. There are never enough lines open, while either trying to check out or when needing to return or exchange something. No one can be found on the floor when you need assistance. I avoid shopping here if possible. I now go to the greers on government, or the dollar general. If I am out towards Schillingers, I will go to that wal mart, completely different experience there, but if you are in midtown, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I will pay higher prices, all most anywhere else, to avoid this place. AWFUL!

Everyone I know calls this Walmart the Ghetto Mart including the people that work there. They are constantly out of items for 6 months to a year. You cant buy electronics or certain items after a certain hour because everything is locked down. Theft problems. The lines are notoriously long and slow. The express line is the slowest. I try to avoid this store if at all possible. =( Customer service is terrible. Associates avoid helping customers and after a certain hour aisles are usually blocked in most directions with pallets of stock making it difficult to navigate the store.
