I was told by a friend that Lancôme face creams were amazing so I went to go buy some today and the lady at the Lancôme counter Toni, told me that she was doing someones makeup and to come back in 20 min. I shopped around and came back she was still with the same person so then I went shopping at target 15-20 min later I tried one last time and when I walked up she was checking a customer out and she immediately started doing a different customers makeup I was in disbelief. All I wanted was a face cream it could have taken 4 min tops!!! This was down right the worst shopping experience I have ever had! I will never step foot back into this belk! Theres a Lancôme counter at Dillards that I will be going to and if I were you I would do the same.

Went to the "new" Belks in Bel Air Mall...oops, the Shoppes at Bell Air...this past Saturday and looked around for quite some time. What a disappointment! Two observations: 1. While new, clean, and bright---the store is just another boring, NON-DESCRIPT mall store. Since it was entirely remodeled (the old Sears), it could have been so much more. This "new" store could be in any larger (also boring) mall anywhere. 2. The store seems larger than the old Sears. Whether it is turns out to be larger is really unimportant because what theyre selling is the same old crap. All in all, though were stuck with it, the "new" Belks is largely nothing buy hugely missed opportunity. The store and its merchandise could have been so very much more.

While buying a pair of shoes to have shipped to my home, an associate promised me that my purchase would come Fedx, not USPS...this associate was wrong and I had to track my purchase down and have it re-shipped correctly. Perhaps management needs to offer a remedial class in its shipping policies.

Went to the grand opening and it was very organized and fun. There were freebies and enjoyed seeing Paula Dean. Two guys,were moving iron gates and side sipped me with one. Nice size bruise o. My upper leg, it was,an accident, but he didnt seem to worried about it.

With Belk moving into a new flagship location by October 12, this former Parisian store is now shuttered. The awkward layout and dated design elements are now a distant memory.
