I ordered tires online on a Saturday and was given an appointment time for Wednesday to have the tires put on. I called Monday to confirm everything (after calling tons of times because no one answers the phone) and was told my order was overlooked and the tires were never ordered. They placed the order and the tires did not come in until Saturday during the snowstorm I was anticipating hence my appointment four days earlier. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced and any other store could have had tires shipped next day especially after their mistake which cost me many missed work hours. To top it off when my tires came in they told me I could only come in as a walk in and there were no appointments available for me. Should have never given Sears auto center a second chance this place is a joke. Oh yeah and when I finally got in for my 9am appointment my car was not even pulled into the garage until 9:45am when there were no other vehicles being worked on.

I purchased a snow thrower from that store, when I came to pick it up the loading crew had it on its side, when unloading at home I noticed the 50% oil leak out due to improper handling, when I call the store and talk to my salesman only solution he offer was a extra bottle of oil, he did not care much to resolve the issue, he got his sale, that is it. I hope you enjoy your commission. For the loading crew, you need some education how to handle a $1000 plus item, I know for you is a another box, but for me is allot of money I spent for something I plan to use for many years. The quality of service is going down, it use to be better, not anymore. I honestly can not recommend this store to anyone, You guys score nothing in my book. Requested to speak to manager but till yet receive the call back.

I bought a snowflake watch only $10.99 a fun watch and it fell apart! I brought it back to Sears in Vernon Hills and the date was covered up by the Sears on side of receipt. I asked to exchange it but it was just over a month the lady said! We couldnt read it so she put it in register. The saleslady said no way can she exchange it, it is the policy! It must be over a month. It was only $5.99 now. Really Sears!! So I had to buy another one! Very poor customer service! You should take lessons from Walmart, Kohls, Bed bath & beyond, & Hobby Lobby! Its not are fault your going out of business! Poor customer service I wont be back!

half of them cant speak english, they dont know how to use their registers, and theyre RUDE! the employees laughed at me at the register when they didnt know how to process my transaction. i sat FIFTY minutes at one register, three of them "tried" to help. they told me it was my cards, i used THREE valid cards. they proceeded to laugh at me again.. never EVER shopping here again. jayesh, clarissa and neha helped me. i was laughed at, mocked, and ive never been treated this badly ANYWHERE!!!!

I saw the reviews and was expecting the worst, but so far so good. The technician suggested I change the tires and they gave me the thickness measure of each tire which helped me made a decision regarding how many to change. He also suggested that I should save one that was not that bad as a spare tire if I wanted it for the future. The only bad thing is that they were a little bit busy and I had to wait ~10 min for the next available guy.

Shoe department actually had no one working on the evening 3/8/17. I had asked another employee if someone was working in the department and he said no. He couldnt answer my question nor could another gentleman. I left the store without purchasing anything. Very bad service all the way around.

If i could give less than one star i would! i called 7 times and tried all departments and got no answer. Then i showed up for a oil change and was told it was a 5 hour wait. Sears in Vernon hill is a joke.

No staff on the bottom floor anywhere. People could just walk out with product and they wouldnt know. Toilets are over flowing and there is no staff in sight. Wont return.
