I had an appointment for 11 AM May 6, 2016 to have my 9 year old long coated German Shepherd groomed. I was told it would be about 4 hours. I came back around 5:30 PM to find my girl had not even been groomed yet. The reason was that she " didnt like around her ears dried " with the force dryer. I have worked for groomers in the past. No dog likes this, and groomers should trained how to handle this effectivly with minimum stress to the dog. I was assured she would be finished by 6 PM. My husband went in to pick her up at this time and found my dog on the table still being groomed. The groomer did not see my husband and he caught the groomer fussing at my dog for fidgeting when the groomer was clipping my dogs paw. When the groomer noticed my husband, she started acting nice to my dog. My dog had now been at the groomer over 7 hours and desperately needed to go outside. She was likely fidgety because she needed to go to the bathroom and had been in the grooming shop for 7 hours. It was Sunday and mothers day, the grooming shop was not busy. I had even her the groomer tell another customer over the phone as Inwas dropping my dog off to just "come on in now, no appointment needed" because the shop was no where near full. It should never take that long to groom a dog. Even on a busy day. My husband paid and brought her out to the car for me to see her. Once I saw my dog, I noticed she was bleeding from either razor burn or cuts from the razor on her leg and foot. I went back inside the store to ask to talk to a manager. I was upset to learn that the groomer and the man sitting in with the groomer while my dog was being fussed at on the table, were the managers on duty. I asked to speak with the store manager, who was off duty. She was called and I spoke with her about the problems. She promptly offered to take my dog to a vet and issued a refund. I accepted the refund but told her I would rather just get my dog home and not put her through anymore stress. Her injuries were by no means life threatening but she was still bleeding from superficial wounds. If needed I will follow up with my personal vet. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a grooming shop. Both people overseeing my dogs groom were thr mangers and they both failed in their duties to provide a quality service for my dog. I will never be going back to this store for any reason.

We found Petco no problem even though the map is off. I recently had bought a ferret from a Petco in Birmingham, AL and was down in Mobile for spring break and needed some supplies. I spoke with Georgia about my recent purchase and that I was inteoducing a much older ferret to my young one and she was very helpful with giving me tips on introducing them and problems I could encounter. Theyve been getting along really well together thus far! Thank you so much Georgia for taking the time to speak with me and answer my tremendous amount of questions. Ill definitely be coming back!
