I have been in PetSmart 2 times within the past week. The first time I went which was Thursday 6/9, I asked a young girl who obviously worked there if she could help me with a fish tank. She looked at me as if I were bothering her. I asked her if the tank came with a filter because I had my 3 year old granddaughter with me and could not focus on reading the box. The young clerk said to me "It says what it comes with on the box!!". I said well, I will go get the young man that was helping me earlier because he was nice and helpful. Then I got to the check out and the cashier was rude and hateful as well. She never said hello, thank you or anything. I left that place feeling belittled and with a good mind to never go back in there again. Then I went in today and my experience was not bad but they could use some training on people skills for sure.However, I am giving it one star because of the young man that has been OVERLY NICE the past 2 times I was in there and he made up for the rude ones!!! One should never leave a store feeling belittled!!!

One of my dogs is very hairy, so with the warmer season approaching I decided to have him groomed. They have had to reschedule me multiple times now and each time I get pushed back as if Im arranging a first visit. Had to wait for his first appointment, then rescheduled me over a week out, and then again. Seems the best thing to do is call multiple times based off how many groomers they have and take a time slot from each. The worse part is people after me have their pets groomed while I keep getting pushed back due to excuses. Im starting to think who ever I picked has the worse life as it seems they have emergency after emergency. The reason they have 1 star from me is a first reschedule is ok, but if it keeps getting delayed its time to bump someone else out or make time or something for the inconvenience.

I bought a bird from here not too long ago. Not long after, he suffered a heart attack and died, but this isnt too mention that he was sickly, and terrified of people, when I got him. During each trip there, the betta fish have been kept in disgusting water conditions, with hardly enough water to cover their fins. The snakes there are given wrong names ("fancy ball python"), and are terribly over-priced. Buy from a breeder, know what youre getting, and pay something reasonable. The corn snakes are tiny, far too young to be being sold. The animals are kept in tanks with terribly humidity levels, and the tanks are far too small for them. This place is pitiful, and they really need to step up their animal care. Buy from a breeder, and I promise you, you will be far more satisfied.

I purchase high end dog and cat food at least twice a month at PetsMart. Most of my shopping experiences have been at least acceptable. I have an older cat and I wanted Tender Vittles. I asked the cashier if the product was no longer available and she said "If it isnt on the shelf, I dont know". There was a manager standing within asking distance but she didnt. I responded with "the proper answer would have been let me check for you". Being in line I would have said thank you but I will check back later and left happy. If they dont want to treat me with respect I will order from the distributor Blue Buffalo and bypass the store completely. Leigh Ann Jackson

I seldom leave a negative review. But I went in today to purchase Pro Plan dog food for my dog. The young lady that asked if she could help us recommend us buying an all meat food. She said our choice was not good for our dog and was not worth what we were paying for it. Which was $42.99. I mentioned cheaper brands, that it must be better than and she said not much. Ive shopped there for years. Ive fed two different dogs this food for 15 years. Theyve done fine. May go somewhere else to buy my Pro Plan. Not good customer service.

The employee I dealt with was very friendly, but every time I go there theyre always pushing Blue Buffalo on me which leads me to believe theyre receiving some sort of commission or kickbacks for pushing these products. I have done a ton of research about the dog foods and what they contain. I have been able to get some stuff there that I need but everybody needs to do their research and figure out whats in the food youre feeding your pets.

Bought 2 Parakeets, cage and supplies here and treated horrible after the sale so complained to corporate then got an apology. When buying 2nd parakeet associate almost killed the bird just trying to get it out of the cage. Now have a traumatized bird and they just said bring it back, as if I would do such a thing after how they treated it the first time. I will NEVER buy anything from there again. Inhumane, cold-hearted and rude.

Nice place, could use an upgrade but due to the location it may not be able to obtain one. Staff is friendly enough and helpful. They offer classes and grooming. The down side is the grooming takes longer then needed and they stay covered up. They usually only have one lane open no matter how bust they get and they are a bit pricey.

Amazing constomer service very very knowledgeable about the different types of animals and has amazing dog trainers and groomers Ive had all of my dogs go through Advanced Training there and Im super happy with it

Petsmart is a great store yeah its a little pricey but you are getting what you pay for. The employees are very nice and courteous and hard workers.

Typical one stop pet supermarket. Convenient but not so great on prices. Water plant and fish selection is lacking. Support your local fish store!

Great store for Wolf & me. I get my German Shepherd groomed once a month,Wolf really enjoys especially in the hot months.
