I have called twice now to the grooming salon. They seem clueless on the general question I ask concerning my dog, or the price? When I say I only want a trim, and she is a long haired labrador who weighs 80 pounds...they cant seem to comprehend this! They come back with you want a full body cut? When I say NO, JUST TRIM under her tummy and around her paws... its like I am talking in another language! They really need to get people who actually know what they are offering! I had to go around, and around, on the phone, it got very frustrating! On another occasion,( I have a service dog) I went shopping there for some dog food at this store. When to my surprise, two employees decided to start stocking the shelves next to me and my service dog! They asked me "Oh are we in your way?" I said yes you are...but they continued stocking the shelves actually pushing my dog out of the way! My dog wears a service vest. I am not confined to a wheel chair, but because you do not see ( a wheel chair) doesnt mean there isnt a disability! I complained to the manager, but dont think anything was said to them! This store needs a whole lot of improvements! They really dont care, so I will take my business some place else!

i asked for some help to measure a collar for my puppy. the lady had to go ask some one else to help (i guess she didnt know how ?) when the other employee came he grabbed a SIZE LARGE for my puppy ..... he adjusted the straps of the harness and of course it was way too big. i told him twice. and then he agreed finally. but then he tried to show me a different type of collar that i didnt even want. i specifically asked for a harness. then he got impatient and asked if i wanted to see another. i said no and had to just look for one myself. waste of time! i dont see the point of not training your employees properly if theyre dealing with pets. the employees were so lazy i felt like no one wanted to help me. im not coming back to this location.

Very disappointed with Pet Supplies Plus located at 132 Randall Rd, Lake in the Hills, IL. To my shock today, one of the managers who had said that he talked with the branch manager, told me that i was banned from the store on account of using their dog wash for making money. I am a professional dog handler as well as dog trainer and have multiple dogs and a thriving business! There hasnt been a day in which I used their dog wash for making money. The only reason I have used their facilities was when any of my equipment for my own dogs broke down. I was told that I wasnt allowed to use the wash facilities and not even allowed to shop in the store!!!! Act of discrimination? Ill let you decide...

This place is tops for taking care of you favorite pet. They have great staff that really cares about you and you furry friend. They will also point out all their products made in the USA. Quality Food, Quality Service and great prices. You just cant get any better than here, to take care of our little or large furry pets.

I came in once every 2 weeks. Over 100 bucks every time. Plus the dog grooming. Will not be coming back. Left message to schedule a groom 3 times. And no one has called me back. Ive been coming here. And always crappy customer service with the grooming. So i will not be returning.

The pet store I been using even in another state. I like Pet Supplies Plus because, smaller and not a mega store, they have great coupons, so usually my items are on sale. They do price matching even with Walmart, so why go anywhere else? Yes you can bring Fluffy with you!

Very friendly staff in the retail area. The store is clean and well stocked. I love their self serve dog wash. I have only used the grooming department for nail grinding and found the staff to be patient with my dogs (one of whom is very reluctant to get on the table).

Probably one of the nicest, and most friendly, customer-driven places I go around town or elsewhere. Being in sales and working as a sales manager for a retail territory, I can discern... and these guys are genuine-- likely from superior hiring/management/leadership.

The store is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly from the moment you walk in. I always have someone ask if I need help, but they are never pushy. I love going here for my dog, they have a great selection and knowledgeable employees assisting on the floor.

Its not that I dont just like this place theres never anyone by the fish, Cricket or animal section. We have to walk around looking for A-Team rep or walk back up to the front to get someone to help you

Self wash and a quick visit to the groomers for a nail grinding is a convenient option. My dogs always enjoy shopping for new toys after their bath.
