Earlier reviewers have knocked the WestFarms Lord and Taylor as dirty and staffed by snobby sales staff. That has not been my experience. I shop here pretty regularly. The sales women have been friendly and helpful. With the exception of some early Monday mornings when dressing rooms can be filled with clothes from the weekends sales, I find the clothes arranged in a neat and orderly way. Could the fitting rooms use a new coat of paint, absolutely. The dress department is very good. Across the chain, Lord and Taylor can be slow to put items on sale, but by using store coupons, I have found some good bargains. This store competes favorably with Macys and Nordstroms and other retail choices. My one complaint is that during the week at least, it can be very hard to find a sales person to ring up a sale. Perhaps if the store had more personnel on the sales floor, new customers would feel more welcome?

Little to no sales associates I found two young trying in women at a register. One (african American) seemingly could have cared less in helping my 96 year old mother~~The other was very helpful, trying on coats _what we came for) so Mom. could see, looked at tags ,sizes and prices Overall, a keeper The way the is run now, you might as well close it up and offer sales "on line" only----or you could have a small crew roaming a few depths asking to help and watch tour sales go up because. horrible jewelry department when i went in may 2016--- lady spoke with told us 0% apr for 12 months and 60% off plus an extra 20-30% to open an account. Then we bought a ring, then i asked about cleanings and sizing and warranty she said just bring it back with the receipt- ANOTHER LIE!! i had to make two trips back there another 40$ for sizing; which the company of the ring says free sizing, so i asked for a 5 they made it a 5.5!! stupid!! then the credit card company sucks!!!! they are charging me interest!!!

Really snobby salespeople and a nasty, dirty store DO NOT make this a good store at all!! I almost tripped TWICE on clothes which should have been hung up on the clothing racks!!! Then when I confronted one of the salespeople about it, I got a nasty attitude which just made it worse. As far as Im concerned, the store is way too overpriced anyways.

Bought my girls bridesmaids dresses here and they ordered everything I needed right then and there and offered me a coupon. Also bought my sons winter coat here. The checkout process was very quick and the employee found coupons that worked with my purchase!

Nice store with good sales! We bought winter coats and they are really good! Only problem was that salesman came and started to show us attitude because we were trying the coats, probably he had to do more work and was unhappy!!

Marisol did a great job in ladies dress department. Bright, cheery and helpful. The music they play is awful. Who chooses it? Crazy screaming whoop whoop. Good sales in mens. Hard to find help. Nowhere to sit.
