I emailed the President of Grand Appliance- Mark Reckling, the Customer Service Manager- Chris Larsen, and the Web Manager- Howard Lee directly as well as posted this review on Grand Appliances website and never received a single response. Im writing about the extraordinarily poor customer service and faulty products Ive received from Grand Appliance Racine (Sturtevant). It has been the worst customer service experience of my life. It started with the point of delivery to the need to replace two appliances in less than 4 years and ended with a botched replacement delivery and the manager screaming at me on the phone for 10 minutes. I was called by the manager of Grand Appliance Racine, Kevan Haarsma, the "most difficult customer hes ever had in 20 years" and my feelings are exactly the same about the company and him. Summary: -Horrible installation: fridge leaked water into basement and washer leaked water down to the first floor in my brand new home. -After fridge and washer fiasco, I asked for my microwave installation to be done for free as compensation and was denied -Bad appliances: Washer leaked from the start and fridge ice machine broke so many times in the 1st year I spent over $600 dollars to buy extended appliance warranties -25 or more service calls in 4 years -Replacement washer was approved by the extended warranty company in November 2016, but I didnt receive a new washer until May 2017 (6 months!) -I had to research myself which washer I wanted as replacement as the ones offered didnt have the same features mine had -They never told me the washer was being delivered on the day it arrived -They delivered the wrong washing machine and refuse to change it -Replacement washing machine was not balanced when delivered -The replacement fridge freezes the food next to the ice maker! -Manager screamed at me on the phone until I was forced to hang up on him Im not able to post the full review here due to the word count limit, but its a long and painful saga. Just be aware I received 2 out of 5 faulty appliances and my replacement fridge is now freezing any food put near it, so, its really 3 out of 6 appliances. Also, Kevan, the Grand Appliance Racine manager, is incompetent, inconsistent, and unprofessional and I felt the company should know how he treats people and the poor quality of the products people will get from Grand Appliance. Unfortunately, the president, customer service manager, and web manager couldnt be bothered to respond. So, I guess there is a culture of poor customer service that starts at the top and trickles down. Dont make the same mistake I did and try to save a few bucks by buying from Grand Appliance Racine as youll regret it for years!

We were very pleased with our purchase until we realized that a floor model dishwasher that we did not order was delivered. When trying to contact our salesman, he told us that we had received $400 off of the full price and gave us a model number for a dishwasher that was a different model from the one that we had installed. After letting him know that the model number that he gave us did not match the model number of our machine, he tried to tell us that we insisted on paying full price for the floor model that we received. When we told him we did not, he reluctantly offered to give us a $200 refund. After three months, we are still waiting on that refund. We have tried contacting the store manager multiple times, but they always seem to be out of the store or in a meeting. Never shopping here again and will definitely be spreading the word to our friends and family members.

Had a repair man out to my moms house to look at her washer. He diagnosed it as a cracked drum to be the source of the leak. And the washer had to be replaced. Well I came over today and having plenty of experience in taking apart washers, I took a look and found the leak pouring out of a large unmissable hole in the drain pump. Less than 10 min into looking and half of that was looking for tools, I found the issue and 48 bucks later off Amazon and its fixed. Hoping to go in tomorrow and get moms 150 dollars back for a terrible diagnosis job. Im a mechanic and just get worked up when I see someone taking someone who doesnt know better for a expensive ride.

We bought a refrigerator form Grand Appliance. No problem with the sales person. The problem was with the delivery men. They left my kitchen a mess. We had a cracked door bin. We could not get a replacement delivered for weeks. We went to the store and told them about it. We had a repair man come to fix the door and he ordered the bin for us. We got it with in a week. We told him about the delivery men and he said that he has seen worse from them. Nor sure why Grand appliance uses delivery people that have no respect for your home. Once you walk out the door, you are on your own if you have problems.

We purchased several appliances and have had nothing but problems. We signed up for the 12 months same as cash and have been hounded by Wells Fargo for payments. They keep saying that was not the way it was written up and have been harrassing us. The people at Grand Appliance have been no help at all, apparently the sale is done and they do not care! I will never go to Grand Appliance again nor will I recommend them to anyone!

Poor be careful! the salesman B. Janssen, may be nice, but watch Out! Was buying a new 3,000. Fridge and asked about addition charges for installation, delivery ect. He said no charge, then at check out he added additional charge for everything he said was free, when I was walking out, then he says he would write off those charges, a scam and a lies. Be careful! Honesty is the best policy, not here!

We purchased 4 appliances from Grand Appliance and were extremely pleased with the entire process. We got excellent prices and the delivery was outstanding. The guys went above and beyond to make sure all my items were hooked up, leveled, and working properly before they left. I would recommend this store to anyone, and will be back to by a TV.
