1. Fridge shows in stock (3 of them) at my local sears (and several other local stores). I rent a pickup and go there to buy, only to find out none of the stores have it in stock. We are told to buy online and we are told 2-3 for delivery. LOST $75 on truck rental. We buy online but price 4 hours later online is $100 more. GREAT start. 2. Missed FIRST delivery date due to Sears scheduling with delivery company on Saturday when sears warehouse is closed. I loose another $200 for not going to work that day. We are promised $75 for inconvenience and wasting entire day waiting. 3. Missed SECOND promised delivery date (Tuesday). Sears scheduling us for Thursday (Already week from purchase). We are promised additional $75 for inconvenience and and being late and week without a fridge. Max total of $150 refund is promised. 4. Several days later out NEW fridge shows up. We purchased a NEW UNIT, not a reconditioned or damaged. Fridge has DENTS and ripped out door handles. Delivery guy calls store manager and she promises me call back and prompt resolution. Either additional discount or a new fridge. I get no return call. When I call line is always busy. No additional discount we only get $75. They see in notes that $150 was promised but theres "nothing they can do" 4 weeks later we get additional $75 refunded for the late delivery but still no word on additional discount or replacement. WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE SINCE THE HISTORY OF SHOPPING.

If I can give less than one star I would. This is THE WORST appliance store I have ever been to. Save yourself the time and effort and go elsewhere for a more professional experience. They NEVER answer their phone. When they rarely do, they put you on hold and never come back. I recently purchased a refrigerator and after it got delivered, the delivery men left it in my living room because they couldnt get it in my kitchen due to a door blocking. Once I removed the door they said theyd come back the next day to install the fridge. I removed the door the same day and they NEVER came back. I have been calling sears outlet trying to get them to reschedule the delivery and all I have been getting is the runaround. Extremely unprofessional and not worth the time or money. Please find somewhere else to go and get a better experience with more professional employees and management. Its looking like I will have to get lawyers involved sadly. WORST SEARS OUTLET ON THE PLANET.

Worse customer service than COMCAST. Bought a fridge, when it showed up it was damaged. I was supposed to be sent new handles and after 2 weeks, nothing. Called and was told again I would be sent new handles, after another 2 weeks...nothing. Called again, was hung up, called back got transferred and was finally told I was receive new handles within the week. Recieved 1 handle, for the wrong fridge and the wrong color. Called back the next day, was told theyd overnight the parts, called another department and was told they couldnt overnight the parts but would replace the fridge itself. After not hearing from them for 5 days about a delivery date, I called back and was told they couldnt replace the fridge. Then was told I could get a new one, but would have to pay the difference. The only comparable one was 500+ more. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I never write reviews, but then again, ive never been lied to, misguided and treated so poorly in my life.

If I could i would use zero stars for this store and Sears general. I purchased my refrigrator, oven and dishwasher on Sunday. I was able to schedule deliver for the next day (Monday). Customer servive called Monday morning and my delivery was scheduled between 6-7 pm. 7:30 pm no calls no appliances. In the midtime that day I ask my family to help me move out all old appliance. (not mentioning we had 5 months old baby). Was i supprised when they didnt shop up. I called delivery department - they closed at 7:00pm. So i had to call next day to schedlue my delivery - first available Thursday :( three days later - not bad but we had to move my old appliances back). One of their representaives said we will give you delivery cgarges back - for the whole inconvince. Never got it and got tired of calling them asking for it. I was SEARS guy all my life - but that was my last purchase at Sears in general.

Horrible!! Serious lack of knowledge on products, terrible customer service wtith nasty uncaring attitudes. They seriously tried to do a bait a switch on my husband with a product we purchased and this is the second time this Searsoutlet has done this. I called trying to try and resolve the issue and get the product I ordered and paid for and this nasty cranky ugly CSR got on the phone and over talked me and had a nasty uncaring attitude, I informed him of how rude he was in my choice of words because I was already pissed off because my husband had to drive 2 hours to get there. The CSR ended up saying I can talk to a manager and blurted out a phone number and hung up. I am done shopping there, I purchased those items in April and they have yet to resolve returning my partial refund that the manager promised to me. Save yourself a huge headache and do not shop here!!!. ZERO STARS!!!!

I honestly thought this place couldnt be this bad to justify the terrible reviews. Nope, its worse. Not only was Sears in general downright DECEIVING in lying about where my fridge actually was, this particular store (Melrose Park) confirmed a delivery date, then when it came time to call me to tell me my delivery window refused to give me a direct answer as to when the delivery would be made. With only 5 minutes to the store closing, they redirected me to the delivery company to get the window... and guess what? The delivery company said they had been overbooked and my delivery would be postponed. They kindly informed me Id have to deal with the store again - but by this time it was 8:59pm and the phone just kept ringing and ringing.... Im absolutely livid.

Went ot the website and picked out 4 dishwashers to look at and hopefully buy 1. Then I realized it was general warehouse so I went and checked the site specifically for the 2 locations near us. Both had very small inventory (less than 8) and all noted as used or reburbished. I tried to call the number of each store and ask if this was true or a misprint and how many NEW dishwashers did they have at that store.. no one ever picks up either phone number, finally got a "leave a message for sales". but you had to punch in the extension of the sales person, which went no where. Going to Best Buy later they have on sale in stock brand new one that was on my list and a $100.00 less. No wonder SEARS is the dismal junk heap its become !!!

HORRIBLE service! Bought a stove had it delivered and when plugged in it didnt work. Couldnt get any representative to give a straight answer pertaining too what to do. A repair man was sent out to look at it and couldnt find any serial numbers on the whole thing. So he couldnt order parts?!?! Was told by him to return for a full refund but the store stated that they didnt give refunds. No one would provide any documentation, everyone told a different story, and We found the same stove cheaper at Home Depot. We are waiting for our money back since they finally picked the stove up. However they refused to give papers stating that the got the stove. This place is ridiculous and I will never step foot into it again.
