April 2012 I entered Boston Store in East Town Mall in Madison Wisconsin. I was in the store for about an hour and a half. I decided to try on some dresses & skirts. I went into a dressing room to change. I went to the room furthest from the dressing entry way. While changing my clothes I heard a mans voice. I frantically search for a way to lock the door, but there is not lock! The door flies open! There is a man standing there looking me up & down, smiling at me! I was trying on dresses so I was completely undressed. I went into shock, screaming you can be in here!! I slammed the door ( which flew back open, no lock or latch) I put a chair in front of it and frantically I got dressed. I came out of the dressing room yelling "there is a man in the dressing room"! The clerks told him he shouldnt be in there, but werent that concerned about what just happened to me! The only person who seem to care was a customer, she appeared to be shocked about the situation I left the store in tears. The next day I called the manager. She didnt think it was a big deal! I said "why dont you have locks on the dressing room doors? You could have prevented this horrible situation!" She had no response to my question. She said she would send me a $50.00 gift card, but I received no apology, how insulting! Come to find out not a single dressing room in Boston Store East Town, not even lingerie dept has a lock on the door. I believe this is every womans worst nightmare! Arent we supposed to feel safe in a store while in a state of undress? I wish it had not happened to me, but it did. I would like to bring awareness to other women. I will always make sure the dressing room has a lock before I enter and undress. I spoke with store manager several times. I let her know I spend thousand of dollars every year at Boston Store. She didnt seem to care. I asked to speak with upper management, she will not give phone number I gave her mine. To date no one has called. I feel I was stalked at Boston Store that day. He may have known there were no locks and followed me into dressing room. I feel lucky I was no raped! I want other women to hear my story and be sure to check dressing rooms for locks. I also want people to hear about the complete lack of compassion/ empathy I received from the store manager who represents this this company.

I went to Boston Store in the East Towne Mall today to find some jeans. I was lucky enough to find two pairs that fit beautifully, and according to the doorbuster sign that was on the racks of all the jeans from this brand, they were buy one get one free. I was very excited, until we got to the checkout. Apparently "mix and match all denim & shorts" didnt apply to the two pairs I picked out, even though the brand was on the list, and the sign was on all the racks. I can understand a mix up in sign placement, but if its your mistake, you should honor the advertised price. They not only didnt offer to honor the advertised discount, they tried to make it seem like it was my fault for not understanding the signs, even though they were very clearly marked as being on sale. Very poor customer service. We will never go back.

Went to Boston Store today for their Goodwill Sale. I took a coupon from the newspaper for 20% off shoes and handbags, and I also had 4 Goodwill coupons for 20% off. Boston Store has a great marketing plan, but it sucks at winning loyal customers. I wont shop there again. First, I hate the use your Boston Store card and get 15% additional off - what about those of us who choose to pay cash (instead of 30% interest on the card). Second, I bought a handbag today, thinking I would get an additional 20% off - oh, but that was a yellow dot item and NOT ELIGIBLE. Then I bought some sportswear, on sale, but that was a "very valuable pricing item" (or something like that). Anyway, they got my money, and I have 5 coupons left. They lost a customer

I have had luck buying things from the Boston Store, but making an exchange there was rediculous. I brought back an item to the store that was a gift and the store would not exchange the item. I had to return the item, for their lowest selling price and then pay the difference for the item that I wanted. I normally do not have a problem with this, but the item I was returning and the item I was picking up had the same price. So I ended up having to pay the store to make and exchange. What a bunch of crap. Not shopping here ever again.

Very rude! I was looking for shoes as you know they have the boxes of shoes in the back. I wanted to try on 3 pairs. The lady working said I cant keep getting you shoes to try on all day. Really!?! Its not my fault I cant grab my own shoes to try on, and its your job! How do you expect the store to make money if you dont make sales? You are hurting yourself. If the store suffers so does your pay check.

The last four times i have been at the Boston Stores East side in Madison, they have a woman vacuuming between 5 and 7 pm, the vacuum is very old and makes a lot of noise plus brings lots of dust in the air so i keep sneezing. cleaning should be done at night when the store is closed to the clients.

I wish that the sales people would learn how to fold clothing. I do not appreciate a wrinkled wardrobe after spending rather high prices for nice items. I have seen better care at discount stores.

I think the selection of products is good, I especially like their sweater selection. Retail price is fair, but if you keep your eyes open I find that Kohls usually has better deals.

I am boycotting Boston Store because they are selling womens clothing produced by Trumps daughter.

Clean. Well laid out. Staff was professional and polite but not friendly.
