We purchased a life fitness elliptical from here about 2 weeks ago. We originally went in for the Lifespan E3i, but Jason - the store manager, let us know about the recall on the machines, so that definitely wouldnt have been the best investment for us. The life fitness elliptical (which was my 2nd choice) is the best machine we have ever owned. Jason was very knowledgeable with all the machines in the store and super helpful. He was also able to answer all of our questions and was very honest. There was no pressure at all from him and he didnt try to sell us something we didnt need. We were notified by phone that our machine was on a short back order after we purchased it, but Jason went above and beyond to find out there was actually 1 left in the Milwaukee location. The elliptical was delivered on time. The delivery guys were also very knowledgeable and helpful. They set the machine up really fast and quicker than expected. I do plan on investing in another machine from this 2nd wind in the future.

The equipment selection is fine. So if you know exactly what you want I think youd be okay. However, they rely on high pressure sales tactics and push the manufacturers that they get the best kickbacks from (currently Octane Fitness?) So if you dont know what you want or dont know what you should be paying I wouldnt trust them to steer you in the right direction. I personally dont like a sales person constantly doing the "we only will sell it for this price today" "this is the only manufacturer worth buying" or "this is the only one left" tactics. It felt like going to a used car dealership. Wont be returning.
