They have had my laptop over 3 months. The first time it was fixed they didnt bother to charge the battery to see if it worked. There excuse was....... we didnt have your password??? they could have called and gotten it just as easy. The second time they claimed it was the mother board. but they said they returned the mother board to HP and HP sent it back saying it was ok???? still not fixed. they promised to ship my laptop to me but yet 3 days after my call its still sitting in the shop??? i have no idea what the excuse will be now. 3 months later and still no laptop. Maybe they should stick to buying/selling/repairing phones??? Update, I just got my laptop by mail. 20 years of files, pictures and personal items that cant be replaced was supposed to be downloaded to an external hard drive.... My computer isnt worth being a boat anchor now. I was willing to deal with the no sound issue. But now i dont have any files at all, no operating system...... Nothing. I will give them an opportunity to make good on this if not then handle it legally. In the mean time i would watch what i take there. they may be ok with older stuff.... but if its a few years old take it to a mainstream repair place. yes, you may pay more, But it will be the way to go.... I cant wait to hear the excuse for this..

Brought my sons 6s in to see if they could ID the reason why the charging post wouldnt charge. Replaced the post component but the phone would not obtain service (wouldnt read the SIM card). Ended up taking it to AT&T in Ranson. They suspected a software/firmware problem and suggested Apple. Drove out to Reston to see Apple. Long to short (if its been touched by a second party service...Apple wont even attempt to work on a phone that was opened by anyone else other than an Apple service tech). Decided to go back to see Rez. He offered that maybe the part that he replaced the original with might be faulty. He tested his theory with another part and turned out that he was right. He replaced the faulty part with one that functioned properly (no charge to me) and the phone came back to life. Thank you Rez....fine job. A reputable service provider for a change!

Only gave it one star because there isnt a lower setting. Phoned them today looking for a replacement digitizer for the Samsung S5. Was told they have them, but that they sell them with the glass. I said no prblem, but then was told "Oh, we cant sell you the parts, youll have to bring in your phone to us". Now, since the digitizer was already connected to the glass in the parts I was going to buy (and since I work on electronics for a living), I figured Id put it on myself and save on labor. These folks werent having it, and flat out stated they would NOT sell the parts to me directly without them doing the work. Im sorry, but any fool that turns down a cash sale (dont know their markup, but it would have been a fast coupla bucks at the least) deserves to lose a customer or 2. Hope it was worth it, as I will never call these rude people again.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I took my computer in there because I kept getting blue error codes. It took there tech team 3weeks to even figure out what was wrong and I had to call every time to recive updated even if they said they were gonna call me. I was informed I needed a new cpu and motherboard so I had them buy them. $300 dollars later I return to the shop to where the man behind the desk trys to give me someone elses pc. I get my computer back go home plug it in and its still restarting it self automatic. I take it apart to find the "tech team" had not applied thermal paste to my cpu. I call back and the man on the phone pretty much calls me a liar when he doesnt even see the computer saying he knows he put thermal paste on it. Do not go to this buisness they are rude and dont know what they are doing.

I cracked the screen on my Note 5. When I took the phone to Best Buy they replaced it under the Geek Squad warranty, but left me hanging when it came time to retrieve the data off the old phone. Best Buy referred me to a cell phone repair store, but it turned out they dont keep the materials on hand to facilitate the repair, plus their quote was much higher. I found ConnectA Cell & PC on the internet. I contacted them, explained that I wanted to retrieve the data off my old phone. They told me they could retrieve the data. I took the old phone in and they put a temporary screen on it. They transferred all the data from my old phone to my new one, then they put the cracked screen back on my old phone so I could return it to Best Buy. I couldnt be happier. Great job.

Ive taken my laptop here a few times and received excellent service. Recently, I even bought a refurbished computer from them. Every person that has waited on me there has been efficient, knowledgable and courteous. Their rates are reasonable, and they get your electronics fixed and back to you quickly. I wish I had known about these guys a long time ago! Sunday, Riz and Richard are the best!!!

Took this in to get the hard-drive cloned and swapped. The drive they put in to replace it is much noisier, they didnt clone the drive, and they took nearly a month to get it back to us. The PC now randomly restarts, the screen flickers, and its functioning worse than it used to. They seem like nice dudes, and I truly believe they are, but the service we received on this was definitely not good.

My wife and I have had multiple occasions to take advantage of the friendly, expert service at ConnectAcell, in Charles Town. We had a laptop keyboard replaced, and picked it back up the same day. Other issues have been resolved with similar efficiency. The pricing seems very reasonable, too. Highly recommended!
