I cant stand the attitude the employees have here. The only nice person Ive encountered is the guy with the pony tail, and hes absolutely fantastic and knows when to pull shots and how to be nice. Unfortunately, everyone else makes dirty chais somehow always taste burnt even though they consist mostly of milk and tea and give an attitude any time you ask a question. I was told once when my drink was incorrect that I ordered wrong, even though I have never ordered what she gave me in my life. Its also not the kind of customer service you give someone. Today I decided to give it another try, thinking maybe they had bad days, its been like 6 months and its such a short walk, I couldnt help it. NEVER AGAIN. I ordered a loose leaf tea and just mentioned how $3 was a lot for loose leaf tea. Yes I understand its organic, but I have purchased loose leaf tea before and it has never been that much. Her response was "I dont know, I just work here, I dont do the math". My response was simply "wow, way to be an advocate for the business you work for". As a small business owner, do you really want that kind of person working for you? I guarantee youll lose many customers with little brats like that serving your customers. I wont be back. I WANT to support my community coffee shop, but Id rather go down the street and drink Starbucks burnt coffee because at least theyll be kind. OH and on top of it, theyre entitled to your change. I purchased an apple for my infant daughter and gave her $1.25 when it was $1.09 and received no change. Get your stuff together.

Today I walked in as a new customer. I had some food and I had been trying to find a place to sit and eat it and enjoy some coffee and write my paper. All my usual places were full so I looked up this place. As soon as I walked in, I didnt even get to the counter, the barista saw me and immediately told me that I couldnt bring food inside. I understand there are rules but there was no sign outside and I hadnt even gotten to the counter yet. They called me out in front of the entire place with no greeting and no courtesy. If she had not been so rude and discreetly told me I would have put the food away and come back. I will not be trying this place again if thats how they deal with customers, there are several better ways to deal with things. If you dont allow outside food PUT UP A SIGN. If you have a problem with a customer bring it up between you and the customer NOT THE WHOLE STORE. I would NOT recommend this place they have terrible customer service and are very rude to new customers.

This place has terrible customer service! Ive been there too many times and have never received good service, but today the service was so bad, I will NEVER go back. I had to wait a long time to place my order. When it was my turn, the owner asked me what I would like. I asked for two pastries to go. He told me that I owed him a dollar more than the pastries should have cost. I asked him "Arent they $3.25 each?" He looked it up on the machine and said "No, theyre $3.75 each." I looked closely at the sign in front of the pastries and said "the sign says $3.25." He responded by saying "What? Now you dont want them?" I was so surprised that he wasnt going to sell them to me for the price that it says that all I could think of to say was "No, I guess Ill just get my money back." He handed me my $10 back and loudly said "Fine!" I walked away shocked and vowing to never go back to that establishment!

We recently moved to the neighborhood by Latte Da and as a writer trying to finish her first novel, I of course checked this place out to get coffee and do some writing. I absolutely love it here! The americano is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and chill, and they have a great menu! I havent checked out their wine or happy hour, but I plan to soon! They seem to really care about the community and have lots of fun events hosted here. Seems like a great neighborhood gathering spot, and I am so happy to be living right by it! Also, the young man who works afternoons during the week is extremely friendly and remembers me when I come in. Love this place!

Relaxing coffee cafe located in a renovated old house. Very friendly staff. Great coffee. The food is always good. The weekend-only biscuits & gravy - delicious. The Cajun spiced tater tots with green onion, bacon bits, and bleu cheese crumbled on top is a bizarre yet very tasty dish. There are artistic events throughout the month. The outdoor fire pit is a very nice place to warm up and chill out. Highly recommended.

Love the different rooms & sitting areas; lighting is good; great for group meetings; owner and staff pleasant and helpful; loved the outdoor patio [large area] last summer and fall and am looking forward to better weather to enjoy this area. Didnt mention the food and drinks... I love the lattes and soup and sandwich plates. Ive not tried everything that they have to serve.

Great service, quality food. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich that was probably the best Ive had. Good bagel (a proper bagel, not that circlebread BS you get in a bag at the grocery store), crispy bacon. Very comfortable, like a visit to grandmas house. Last Monday was my first visit on a recommendation from a friend. It wont be my last.

Love the space. Cozy older house. Food offerings looked wonderful. Id give the location and atmosphere a solid five stars. Coffee was the worst Ive ever had. Bitter, acidic, watery....everything I dont want. Coffee served here is Caffe DArte which is a very very dark roast. Would be a regular stop if they served something else.

The coffee is pretty good (not the tar Sbucks serves), and the food is pretty good (fave: marionberry cake, or cooked bfast bagel). But the best part of all: the atmosphere. Its a converted house that offers nooks in three different rooms, variety of seating (bar vs. table), and a huge outdoor area that is remarkably calm.

Ive been going here for about a month and LOVE IT! I havent tried the wine, but the food and coffee are excellent. The owner(s) have put a lot of work into the landscaping and maintenance of the property, and it shows! The outside seating area is awesome and is a perfect place for a low key business meeting or just relaxing.

Good coffee and treats and nice people! We got there just before closing, which was a bummer, but the guy didnt hurry us and made some good coffee. I forget what I ate, but remember it stating good. I believe it was a lemon scone. The venue looks to have a good atmosphere and I look forward to going there in the future.
