My wife and I have been there many times, and I had originally happened upon it on accident while driving by. One day I was off work and decided to go in, and from that point forward Beth West won a customer for life. The customer service from that day set a high bar of expectation for me, and they have not let me down ever since! All that gals that work there are great, and they helped us out with everything from boots, to hats, to jeans. Even helped my daughter find a pair of boots that she adored. When you first enter the store, you may be a little overwhelmed because of the sheer volume of all of the products that they carry, from the massive cowboy hat wall, to the thousands of boots, very large saddle and tack section, and a clothing section that is equal to to half of the size of the entire place. What I did was ask for a tour. The gal working the day I went in for the first time (I cannot remember her name, but she has the long dark hair and fantastic smile) took me around and showed me everything, including the spurs, buckles, jewelry, and even showed me what size boots I wear and took that size and put it on a card and saved it for my next visit so wed remember! Lance is an amazing guy, hell joke and tell stories with you and make you feel like a friend right away. He makes you feel right at home, Id love to have a boss like him! He shaped my hat and gave me care instructions, and on my last visit spent equal time between me and another customer searching for boots. I have a rather narrow size fit, so its difficult to find them in my size that still look good. But not only did he find some, he found some that fit, looked good, and were on sale for $80 off the original price, saving me thirty dollars on my budget! So to make a very long good story short, I only go to Beths now. When I need jeans, I go there. Boot care products, I go there. A new hat, or gift idea, I go there. You should take the time, stop in, and say "hey yall!" you wont be disappointed. Bobby

Its hard to imagine this happening in this day and age, but it happened to me at Beths West in Snohomish, WA. You have ordered, and paid in full for a pair of boots for your daughter for Christmas because they did not have the desired size in stock. You go to pick the boots up, and they are a distinctly different color than ordered. Choose the best option for a retail professional to take from the choices below. A. The owner should insist, in the year 2013, on his no refund/exchange only policy despite the fact his store failed to inform you that the boots could no longer come in the color you ordered them in, were clearly not what you ordered, and had never even left counter of the store from when they opened the box. B. The owner insists your daughter will like the new color (thoughyou know she will not), and tries to sell you on the incorrectly colored boots. C. The owner, completely unprovoked, tells you "If your daughter is that spoiled, then I dont know what to tell you". D. The owner should give you no other option than to go home with the correct colored boot his associate finds on the shelf, but 1/2 size smaller than you ordered, and needed. E. The owner who happens to be helping you explains the company is no longer dying leather in the color ordered, and boots in the ordered color are no longer available for purchase. However, since the boots were ordered without alerting you to the unavailability of the color you wanted he will gladly refund your money. If you answered E, then you would be thinking about any retail experience other than Beth Wests in Snohomish WA. Unbelievingly, my experience there was A., B., C., and D. If you want to do business with someone who insults and tries to intimidate you, then make sure you ask to work with the owner (I believe his name is Lance). For me, Ive learned my lesson. No more Mom and Pop stores. Would have never had an issue like this through any reputable online company. Amazon/Zappos only from now on!

There return policy blows and store is not consumer oriented. They only allow store credit or exchange but not returns. I went there to buy boots for my GF. If I picked out the wrong boots, my experience with women is I probably would have, and went to exchange them and they didnt have what she wanted they only offer store credit. She would either have to settle on a pair of boots she didnt particularly want or she could buy a bunch of stuff and still not have boots. I am headed out to Monroe, Horse people know where I am going, where they appreciate my concerns and are willing to give a full refund if they dont have what she wants in stock. I am choosing to not shop there again and shop where my concerns are appreciated

Love this store. Was greeted promptly by a nice older lady, unfortunately I forgot her name (white hair, slim build). I showed her a picture of what I was looking for but it wasnt quite the same in person. Tried on some boots and almost decided on one till I told her I was going to wear it to work on concrete floors for long hours. She immediately showed me some work boots and I instantly found the perfect one. She was extremely helpful and so sweet. Spent the time to talk to me about not just boot fit and boots but about life and things going on at the time. Truly one of the best buying experiences Ive had buying any product. I will definitely come in again.

Great store and the prices are very competitive. Ive bought six pairs of boot, hats, clothes, etc. and have been happy with every purchase. Ive even found a treasure or two that I didnt expect. This is the only place to buy a hat. Lance is the "hat God" and hes passed some of his skills onto his employees. Everyone here is top notch and very friendly. You owe it to yourself to at least price shop here before you head other places. You will be impressed.

Ive known the owner Lance for years since he had his other store. He has always treated me and my boys absolutely wonderful. Fitting my kids with their hats, boots, shirts ect. His stores always have had a huge selection of what you need. All of his employees are always so polite and nice. Always a pleasant experience to shop there !!!

Love this place, staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I dropped my grandfathers hat off to be restored, took them a little longer than usual because of machine malfunction but just picked it up and it looks amazing. Will always come here for any Western wear products or any Western wear restoration.

Huge selection of boots and hats. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I didnt think i would find anything in my size since I wear 15s but the owner went through a bunch of styles and colors of boots and put an order in for a great pair. The price is very reasonable also.
