Boss of all Bosses I cant even begin to tell you how boss this place is. Like if youre on the last stage of Super Mario and youve beat Bowser and outcomes a bigger badder boss, this would be it. Paseo might be in danger! The porchetta sandwich is ree-donk-you-lous! I dont know where they get their bread, but I would like to take the bakers daughter out on a date (or son?!). Porchetta sandwich in combination with the steak tartar two hit combo knockout! Goldilocks Zone Not too empty, not too crowded, just perfect. You know Yelpers did their job when the line goes out the door and its annoyingly hard to find a seat, it seems as though not many have caught on to this place yet. One Stop Shop They offer an assortment of cured meats, fresh meats, pates, sandwiches, salads, entree plates, cheese, and even beer! And bonus points for having an amazing location next to an oyster bar!

Based on sandwiches alone itd probably be 3 stars, but poor service drags it down to 2. We came in 30 minutes before close and they acted like they were doing us a favor by making us sandwiches. They brought them out in a to go bag (without asking) and when we asked if we could eat there they grudgingly told us we had 15 minutes. We also heard them rushing a couple buying meat. The sandwiches definitely werent good enough to put up with their staffs attitudes. Disappointed we decided to eat here out of all the other options in Pioneer Square.

It depends on what one wants and expects. If looking for a porchetta sandwich this is the place to go, that sandwich rivals anything at Salumi, Paseo, Tats etc...The meats appear to be of the absolute highest quality, and they taste as such. The sandwich construction often leaves me slightly underwhelmed. Over toasted bread, short stacks, sloppiness and thick slicing being the most vexing to me personally. This is not the place to introduce one to a deli style sandwich but for the sandwich connoisseur it can hit some high notes.

Their sandwiches are amazing and the selection of sausages, charcuterie and the like will definitely have me returning next time Im shopping for high-quality, local meat. I had the Choripan sandwich and its such a great combination of complex flavors; the bread is a bit tough if you have jaw problems like TMJ but thats true of any sandwich on ciabatta or baguette. The Mexican chorizo is not as spicy as I expected but the sandwich had a pleasant overall zing to it.

Seattle may be vegan heaven, but this meat shop doesnt let that stop them. The sandwiches are amazing and feature some amazing charcuterie creations. The pork belly is delicious and the sourdough bread is amazing. Grab a cheap Rainier tall boy to wash it down before a Sounders game. A little slow when events are going on, but worth the wait.

Are you looking for a great French Dip, look no more. This was simply the best one Ive ever had. Starting with the bread, it held up to the meat and au jus. The meat was a shredded beef that had a light delicious crust,with caramelized onions,white cheddar and a light horseradish sauce. My mouth waters just talking about it. Must try

I dont eat meat and am pretty sure there is nothing on the menu here that I could eat. However, it was very clear from watching them that Rain Shadow employs artists at their craft. And for what its worth, my meat-loving friends cant get enough of this place.

The Dipper is superb. Go get one and thank me later. Growing up I had an uncle who owned a very high end deli, so Im very selective when it comes to corned beef. I must say that Rain Shadows Corned Beef & Rye is the best Ive had in Washington.

This place is my jam. I live the pochetta and ranger sandwiches. Reminds me of home at my moms kitchen during the holidays. Smells awesome. Great for lunch!
