I have a poor customer service at this specific Safeway store on more than one time which triggered me to writing this review. My first incident happened about two months ago when my cart was stack and start to beeping at the exit. The cart I was using has some kind of electronic device attached to it and I believe it was remote controlled and have my carts wheel to stack and start beeping. It was embracing and I dont want that to happen to anybody. The second incident happened today. I purchased a ground beef among other things only to find it was a bad meet. Once I got home I opened the plastic wrap and when I took some portion of the ground meet. However it looks fresh and nice on the outside the inside was dark. So I took it back to the store to ask why it was dark in the inside and fresh on the outside. I was told by the customer service supervisor that it looks fine to her. I understand people could have different quality expectation from the product they are purchasing, but the ground lean beaf was a lot darker and seems rotten inside. I tried to smell it to see if it was rotten but it smells fine. I wander what makes the meet inside darker! Check ground beefs if they are fresh before you buy it. from this point on I stopped purchasing from this particular store, not just because this happened but because they dont care. Good selection, poor quality, and reliably rude service. It really is just a couple supervisors that need to be fired and the store would be much better. The nighttime management seems incapable of proper bagging or customer service. The regular cashier are awesome and are the only reason I return.

This was a Safeway and is now a Haggen. Not very happy with the change, they turned a fantastic supermarket into a poor one. They removed all the self checkouts and now only have 7 total cashiers for a huge big store. Not good
