I have to give my experience here 3 stars, although I will never be returning. One star for the fact that they take my insurance, which apparently not many optometrists do in this city. Another because I called right when they opened and asked for an appointment *today* and was scheduled for just an hour and a half later. And a final star for the swift service and care Dr Hsu took when addressing my concerns and examining my eyes. All brilliant. What kills my experience with Vision Plus was what happened after I received my script. The lady who helped check me in was assigned to help me find a frame I like. She was so pushy, at one point I literally had three frames in my hands and another on my face. Now, I have to wear glasses all the time. I want to look professional and have my frames reflect my personality and suit my face and style, obviously. Most people do. However, I didnt have a chance to browse my options at all. It made me very anxious. Not only that, but my fiancé was there to help me make a final decision too. He is the one who looks at my face most often and so is the best person to help me decide what looks best. This lady berated him, constantly making snide remarks about a "mans opinion" and how he didnt know what he was talking about when it came to my frames. And then she had the audacity while ringing me up to remark on my engagement ring, how it was so small and simple! Excuse me?! I cannot explain how this made me and my future husband feel. I actually cried driving home before deciding to turn around and cancel my purchase. Never again.

I have been going to Dr. Hsu for years and my oldest daughter started going this past summer. Dr. Hsu and his staff are caring and accommodating. My daughter was terrified of doing the eye exams, but Dr. Hsu was extremely patient, played games with her and did not push her to do something she was uncomfortable with. In the end, she does need glasses and the shopping experience was so fun for us! They have a great selection of adult and childrens frames. There have been a few occasions where I have had to take both my children here during my appointments, and everyone was very welcoming of them. Dr. Hsu is thorough and wants to ensure patients comfort prior to purchasing contact lenses and glasses. He makes sure that insurance policy is reviewed and communicated to his patients. There have been two occasions where I have thought I had pink eye/infection (I have sensitive eyes) and Dr. Hsu has opened up his office prior to office hours in order to see me as he just wants the best for his patients. On another occasion, I needed to order contacts before my trip and his receptionist called me and I was able to place my order over the phone! Contacts came in the next day! Overall, my visits there have been enjoyable and educational. I always learn something new from Dr. Hsu! I highly recommend!

Seriously one of the best doctor appointments ever! My husband and I had a back-to-back appointment so one of us could be in the waiting area to watch our two year old. The staff took it all in stride and made us feel welcome. They had toys for my daughter to play with. The office area was clean and professional looking. Dr. Hsu was extremely nice and explained everything. I didnt feel rushed during my appointment. He is moving forward with technology and helps you pick out eye care items that you need. My husband and I both ordered glasses and the staff that helped us were extremely nice explaining our insurance and letting us know what each part cost so we were not overwhelmed by the process. There were lots of different frames to choose from including some clearance ones. I would recommend to ANYONE!

My wife and I recently moved to Redmond and had been looking for a new optometrist. We do our best to find offices that offer eye exams using a camera as opposed to eye dilation. Vision Plus fit the bill perfectly. Dr. Hsu and his staff are awesome! They took the time to explain what they were doing but also helped answer our insurance questions. On top of all that everyone that we talked with in the office had a great sense of humor. Both of us had a great time and as long as we are in Redmond we will be returning.

I have tried getting fitted with no-line bifocals before with no success in the past. When I went to Vision Plus, they explained to me the different types of "progressive" lenses out there so that I could make the best choice given my work and my prescription. I was willing to spend a little more on the newer style progressives and it was worth the price. I can see so much better now and the lens quality and clarity is amazing!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Hsu since he worked at Sears Optical in Bellevue. We were so happy with him that we followed him when he opened Vision Plus Redmond, in spite of the fact that we now live in Auburn! Needless to say, our loyalty can be attributed to his impeccable service, high quality goods, and the most friendly and helpful staff. There is no better person to whom we entrust our familys vision than Dr. Hsu!

Dr. Hsu is by far the best eye doctor I have been to. I live pretty far (SeaTac), but after hearing recommendations from friends about him, it has turned out to be well worth the commute just to receive such great service! Everyone there is very hospitable and Dr. Hsu is definitely a family guy! My entire family of 6 come to him for all of our vision needs. You wont be disappointed by his service!

The staff at vision plus were wonderful! I walked in from across the street at trader Joes when one of my screws fell off my glasses. The gal there fixed it at no charge and didnt try to sell me anything. It was quite pleasant so I decided to come back a couple weeks later for my eye exam. Dr. Hsu was very pleasant and showed me pictures of my eyes. It was overall a good experience!

So, I just came here to replace my broken nosepiece on my spectacles (that I didnt even purchase from them), and I was expecting to pay a few bucks. Not only did they fix my nosepiece, they even gave me a few free screws that I asked for in case my frame came loose again, all for free! Really great folks, and I know Ill be using their services if I ever need an optician.

Very thankful to the fine staff and Dr. Hsu at Vision Plus. I got something into my eye and my eye was red and watery. Dr. Hsu squeezed me in during his lunch break, gave me some meds and washed out whatever was irritating my eye. In the meantime, the gals upfront cleaned my glasses and even tightened them up for free. Overall, great service.

Excellent service from Dr.Hsu and his staff. No pressure to buy glasses after my eye exam. I chose Dr. Hsu because my dentist is named Dr. Hsu as well as my primary physician! Just a shot in the dark to try another Dr. Hsu, but I am happy to report that I am more than pleased with my choice. So now I have three doctors named Hsu! How cool is that!!!
