I called to make an appointment to see an optometrist. The woman who made appts. had such a thick foreign accent I could not understand her. Apparently she couldnt understand me either because no matter how much insurance info I gave her it still wasnt enough. I read everything on my card and it still wasnt enough. I asked if she could just make the appt. and I could bring in my card at the time and they could get everything they want off it. No, they couldnt (or wouldnt) do that. Had to have "the insurance information" before the appt., but since nothing I gave them was "right" I couldnt get an appt. I expressed my frustration with this Catch-22 so of course she hung up on me. I called back and tried again but, no, I just did not have the right information. I asked to speak to the manager and was told the manager wasnt in today. So I called another place, gave them the same information over the phone and they had no trouble whatsoever getting me an appointment for the following day. Being a glutton for punishment, I called Lenscrafters back and asked for the manager. Guess what? The manager, who I was told "wasnt in" was in. I described what happened and Jen, the manager said they have no control over who makes their appointments because that is a third party service hire. I point out that its the same phone number as their store. First Jen says no, its not the same number then finally agrees it is because, really, its the only one on their website. Jen is very sorry Ive had a cruddy experience with Lenscrafters--and then finds half a dozen ways of passing the buck and saying its not Lenscrafters fault. I point out that Lenscrafters chose to go with these third party service hires but when they are incompetent or rude then Lenscrafters wants to back pedal on the responsibility. Great. Lenscrafters has now outsourced even their scheduling to whatever company is the lowest bidder. Enough of this outsourcing garbage where you get lousy service and no one will take responsibility for it.

Terrible experience. I had been using the optometrist next to them. I decided to buy glasses and it was an bad experience with being "sold" bi-focals when I didnt need them. The ended up refunding me and replacing the lenses, but they wouldnt replace the frames and the frames were picked because the "salesperson" (and thats all they are) said these Ray-Bans were good bi focal glasses. They are cheap glasses that are crooked. Ive been back 3 times to have them adjusted and still dont work. Absolute waste of my money and time. Maybe this business model worked 20 years ago, but I encourage others to look elsewhere or order online. I would not recommend this location to a friend nor will I be going back.

They have good glasses and good varieties. However, last time I was there it took is about 1 hour to checkout and the prices rose incredibly high. Also, the Blue filter they ask you to add is a SCAM. it makes everything darker and doesnt limit that much blue light from the screens. One last thing, when we wanted to take the kids offer, they said you have to be under 14 and you cant buy an adult frame so its basically useful (show me a 14 year old who has a head as small as a young child). I dont think I will be a loyal customer anymore...

I went in for an eye exam. I got the exam, and left. Then when the billed my insurance they billed for an eye exam, and other diagnostic services. If they did more than an eye exam I didnt notice (I tend to be good about noticing such things), but they billed for it. My insurance covers eye exams 100%, but not their additional diagnostic services. Avoid going to this location as they bill for more than they do, or more than you ask them to do. Then may be stuck paying for something you didnt get, want, or need.

Bad service and poor quality of their peoducts is what I have experienced with them! They customer service is extremely poor and their glasses are over the price! I wont mind spending my money for high quality glass but my glass has been cracked after only 1 year and they didnt know even why that had happened! Im disappointed and never buy from them!

Stay away from Barry at all cost, horrible experience, very condescending and smirky attitude, treats you like beneath him, i understand that hes the expert in glasses but that doesnt mean that im an idiot if I ask a newbie question. His lady manager is even worse.

Decent products at decent prices. My only complaint is directed at the industry which is built around churning frames.
