Until is was 50 I never needed glasses. Now, I cant read at all without some strong readers, so I went in. I heard about this little store in a strip mall from a good friend who recommended them highly. The Dr. (dont remember her name, sorry) did a thorough, full exam on my eyes & found I needed help with both close & far seeing. Kit helped me find a nice, light pair that I now wear all the time, & also a pair of prescription sun glass that are GREAT driving...which I do a lot, so Kit steered me away from the automatic tinting styles; cause they dont often work when you drive since sunlight isnt directly on them. Its wonderful to be able to see again in all the ways I need to live & work. I love my glasses; they are about 3 times BETTER than the best readers I ever found (even better than the progressive readers). GREAT Job & a GREAT value....Thanks! Bruce Sr.

Kitt sold me the wrong type of contacts (not the overnight kind as I had worn previously). I wore them overnight and was extremely uncomfortable, so I looked on the internet and found they were not right. When I talked to Kitt about the mistake, he argued that they had just changed the name and I was mistaken. Eventually, he did admit his mistake and replaced them (charging me the difference in price). I felt like I was treated as though I had done something wrong when he had endangered my eye health by telling me I could wear contacts overnight that were not meant to be worn that way. Also, this is the only place Ive ever been to that did not give me contacts to try & check the fit, which would have probably avoided this mishap.

I have purchased several pairs of glasses from Kit over the years. I find that Kit has the largest selection of frames and the most diverse selection as well. Kit has always treated me fairly and has given me great value for my money. Kit has a very good eye for taste and manages to fit me with very stylish frames, every time. When I leave Ocean Optical after I have purchased my glasses, I am seeing great and looking even better!!!! I love it!! I am recommending Ocean Optical and Kit to all of my friends who need and want glasses. Great job Kit!!!!!

I was very dissatisified wity my experience with Kitt at Ocean Optical in Redmond, Washington. He was rude, unwilling to help when I wanted to return the frames my insurance and I had purchased when they fell apart 3 days after I received them. I work closly with our companys benefit office and I will NOT be recommending Ocean Optical to anyone. My husband also had purchased glasses there and his too, came apart shortly after purchase. C. I purchased a pair of glasses from Kitt at Ocean Optical a bit less than 2 years ago. They have have served me well, and the service was superb. The glasses so far have been durable with no problems and I get compliments on them. They were not on the official list for my insurance; however their prices were so good that the total price turned out to be less than if I had gone through an official provider. I will be back for my next pair.

Good selection. Seemed like kind of an eclectic mix of frames. Had a hard time finding ones I really really like but found a better selection here than many others in redmond. I think some organization would help as a lot of the frames seemed to be mixed all about so styles and brands could be almost anywhere. Still, one of the better experiences we had shopping for glasses even if we found our pick elsewhere.
