Subaru of Puyallups slogan of "Stress Free" is not just lip service-- my wife and I just purchased a beautiful Carbide Gray 2016 Outback Limited with Eyesight (a MUST HAVE option) from this fine dealership this past Sunday. An effort to keep things stress free was evident with each employee we had dealings with that day. I had met our salesperson, Kimberlee Cade, a few weeks prior to our day of purchase, and she was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. Upon informing her of our first choice of color and trim level, I was pleasantly surprised to have her contact me a week later to let me know that an Outback of our exact preference had just showed up at the dealership. Obviously, we acted fast to make sure it would be coming home with us, and we appreciated Kimberlees pro-activeness to help make sure that happened. On the day of purchase, Kimberlee met up with us first thing in the morning, took us on a final test-drive, and went over all the key features of the Outback. The entire time, she was very friendly, laid-back, and easy to talk to. Kimberlee was never pushy, shady, or behaved in any negative fashion that you seem to see so often from salespeople elsewhere. In fact, it was almost like hanging out with a friend-- very casual with no pressure. When it came time to talk money, we dealt with Wade Finley, who I have to say was the most amazing finance manager Ive ever done business with. He, like Kimberlee, was extremely friendly and personable, down to earth, and explained everything plainly, in an easy-to-understand manner. The financing Wade was able to get us totally defied our expectations, and we truly believe he worked extremely hard to get the deal he did for us. Wade was the exact opposite of the negative stereotypes typically attached to the "scary finance manager". Another testament to the "stress free" environment the team cultivates at Subaru of Puyallup: throughout the course of our time there as we went through the purchasing process, several employees, who had nothing to do with our purchase, stopped and said "hi", asked us how we were doing, and another even congratulated us on our purchase when the deal was finalized. One salesperson (I believe it was Jerry Harris), had just returned from the store with ice cream sandwiches, presumably for the employee break room, but nonetheless, stopped at our desk to offer one each to my wife and I.These are all little things that add up to paint a very positive picture of the team at Subaru of Puyallup. After everything was wrapped up, Kimberlee walked us out to our new Outback, went over a few more last-minute things, and warmly congratulated us and wished us well. My wife and I couldnt have been more impressed with Kimberlee, Wade, and the whole team that day. Im looking forward to continuing my relationship with the team when we take our Outback in for servicing / parts / maintenance, etc. We will definitely be referring anybody we know who is looking to buy an automobile to Subaru of Puyallup without reservation. Thanks again, Subaru of Puyallup, for a truly "Stress Free" experience!

Hello Subaru of Puyallup, On December 12, 2015, I walked onto your lot looking for Subaru Crosstrek’s. I met George Dyer and told him what I wanted to test drive. I have done my research and had a certain price range I was looking for. After test driving the Crosstrek I had been eyeballing, the 2014 Ice Silver Metallic Premium, I realized that the model did not have some accessories like I admire my on 2001 VW Jetta. The price was right, but was not impressed with the lack of power items, features, and accessories. I then test drove the 2015 Crosstrek Limited edition and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of accessories and features. So I went home and looked up 2015 Premium Crosstrek’s and noticed the features they added that I wanted. After learning the potential of a 2015 Premium Crosstrek, I started the search for the exact color and hard to get moonroof with the features and accessories I wanted. I heard of some good deals in Oregon so I called the dealer down there and she offered me a good deal on a 2016 Crosstrek that was in transit with an ETA of December 26th. First of all, this was a great idea and the price was a little higher than my range, but why not for a new car?! Of course I thought of the Puyallup location and started to look on the website for new inventory. I looked up the 2016 Crosstrek in Dark Gray with a moonroof. Sure enough you guys had one in transit. On December 16, 2015, I contacted George and said I have a new plan (since I was looking for used at first). I asked him if someone had put their name on the 2016 Dark Gray Crosstrek yet and when it was coming in. He said no and that the ETA was December 28th. The first thing I did was put my deposit on that car and went to my credit union for a preapproval. Everything was falling into place. On December 23, 2015, George called me with the best news saying that my new car came onto the lot and it may be ready by Saturday the 26th. This was a huge relief because of the series of events and plans. I was trying not to get the car on a weekday (My boyfriend Stephen started working 12 day hour shifts Dec 27). The same day George called me, I was on my way home in my old car and it started dying while I was coming to a stop. My family was asking about my new car on Christmas Eve and I diverted the conversation because I had already planned a dinner with them on Saturday 26th and wanted to surprise them with my new car. The day came when I was able to get my new car! George took care of us right away and explained each process thoroughly. I was able to get the new car with the 7yr/100,000 mile warranty and a security system installed and activated. He even came into the car and showed me how everything worked and set up the voice command Bluetooth with my phone. I could not be happier and look forward to this long-term relationship with Subaru of Puyallup.

"Stress Free Dealership" is part of their motto and Ill admit, I had my reservations. Overall, we had an incredibly positive experience. Hubby and our young son checked out a Forester (Andrew Wheeler) while I had another obligation. The following morning, I checked out the same vehicle with our son (Jerome). Hubby and I finally had a chance to look at the vehicle together without our son and took a 2017 Forester 2.5i Premium for a test drive. We were impressed with how open it felt -- the moonroof and window next to the side mirrors made it feel bright and the peripheral vision was impressive. It handled well and was a comfortable ride. My husband and I were prepared to negotiate...aka prepare for battle. We met with the first gentleman my husband met, Andrew, the process was MUCH easier than we expected. First, Subaru gave a stress free price via email and it gave us a really good starting point. We were given the opportunity to discuss it and our needs before going to the dealership. We had a trade in and felt they gave a fair price for it. The offer they presented after trade-in was incredibly close to our bottom line. We were impressed. After some discussion (and it wasnt nearly as long as our previous experiences at other dealerships), both sides ended up feeling good about the final offer. We arranged to pick up the vehicle the following day, giving us an opportunity to clean out our existing vehicle. Andrew arrived early to make sure everything was ready for us and his follow up call a few days later made us feel very valued. Icing on the cake arrived today. We received a refund check because Subaru of Puyallup over calculated the license fee charged to us. Now, I might be naive but I would have never known if they overcharged us for that fee. The integrity shown by refunding that check to us set them apart from the rest. Ive never had a dealership (and this isnt my first vehicle) return an overage to me. I much rather have a dealership overestimate and refund the customer than the other way around. Even the gentleman in the parts department (we purchased a cargo cover) was affable and easy to deal with too. The facility has been nicely renovated and customer waiting room accommodations are very comfortable too. Im pretty confident that if/when we have to buy another vehicle, we will strongly consider Subaru of Puyallup before any other dealership. Our interactions with Andrew, Jerome, Kim (forgive me if I have her name wrong, she handled the paperwork), the parts gentleman, and other employees + relatively stress free pricing + follow up a few days later + refund for license fee overage = 99.9% customer for life. Thanks, Subaru of Puyallup! Sorry for the long review but thats how I roll. :-)
