Bought my car here, good staff. They work with San Mateo Credit Union and I really like that credit union. Update: Since buying my Honda Odessey here Ive been keeping up with the maintenance and have to knock off a star. If the purchase experience wasnt so great theyd be down to 2 stars. The service department feels like a ripoff. Everytime I get an oil change they try to push a very expensive "check-in" that is not on my cars maintenance schedule. $495 to do what? Check my belts? Is this a joke? A maintenance light turned on recently so while I was getting an oil check I asked them to check it out. I should have Googled it first. They charged me $95 to tell me a sensor needed to be replaced. Then they wanted to charge over $200 to replace it when other garages nearby offered to replace it for $80 cheaper. What really bugs me about the sensor and that whole experience is that the service rep told me hed give me a discount (he didnt, nor did he apply the oil change coupon i gave him) and the sensor is a well known issue. The TPMS light typically means the battery in your tire pressure sensor is dead. They die every 5-7 years. I didnt know this when I asked them to look at it, they happily charged me $95 to pull the error code from my car and then offered to fix it for an additional $200. So lets keep track, I went to get an oil change, they tried to upsell me on a useless $495 service, then they charged me $95 to diagnose a problem that should have been free to tell me about, and then they wanted to charge above market rates for the repair. Im so mad thinking about it that I think I wont buy my next car there. There are too many crooked mechanics out there and I had hoped Honda RWC was different. Theyre not.

Stay away from them. Complete waste of time. On the phone, two sales managers individually and together on a conference call insisted that I come and visit them and test drive the car. They insisted that I come within an hour to come and talk to them face to face and discuss the sales terms. They also promised to give me a better interest rate. When I showed up, I waited for a while and then one of them should up completely clueless as to why I am here even after a full introduction. She (I will spare them by not mentioning their names) took me to the parking lot only to find out the car I am here to purchase and test drive (Honda Civic EX) is not even in the lot. So I asked for other guy, who insisted that I come right now so we can sit down and have a face to face talk, was not available to talk. He sends another guy who wanted an explanation of why I am in the dealership. Again I asked for the guy I spoke to over the phone but he never bothered to come out and even greet me, let alone discuss the terms of sales. So I walked out of the dealership and basically told the sales girl that you guys are liars and fake and I will report this to the Honda US corporate office. After leaving the dealership I called them again with hopes to talk to the sales guy again but he did not take my call and I end up talking with the sales manager and explained what happened and all he had to say in return that he is sorry that I feel that way. I mean what the "f**k" is this, who deals with a potential customers like this. Please dont go unless you want to waste your time. Very unprofessional, even junk car dealers have more courtesy them these clowns. I wasted two hours where I could have gone somewhere else….

HORRIBLE DEALER... NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE. This is a zero star dealership. I came in and bought a Honda CR-V Lease. I walked out knowing I was cheated on $3000. However, I thought to myself its okay, Ill let it pass, ONLY to receive a call from the dealership 10 days after telling me "Sorry, we made an error in calculation." I went back to the dealership, spoke to a manger named David, They made do A NEW FRAUD contract with $800 extra that i need to pay, dated 10 days ago (not with the date I walked in). I went back to work, then 2 hours later, I find them AGAIN calling me saying "sorry we made another mistake in calculations" At this point Im FURIOUS, I went back to the dealership, Spoke again with DAVID. All I wanted to do at this point is return this car, and be done with this headache. At the end, after two hours of discussion, They made me do ANOTHER contract with me paying $1000 EXTRA. This is a scam dealership. I have now 3 contracts from this dealership. I will be contacting my lawyer, to see which contract is the valid one. I dont believe or trust this dealer, and so as anyone should NEVER believe them. BEWARE for this dealer they will do anything to steal your Money, they have false advertising. Once you sign any paper work with this dealer, they will make your life miserable trying to scam you more. Then the manger will come out and start threatening you saying "I will have my ways to get your money" Believe it or not thats what David the manger at this dealer said to me. BEWARE!!!!!!

A follow up to my comment of a few days ago. First, I was greeted personally by the service manager. Second, I requested a 60k service, he told me that it wasnt needed for a few thousand miles more. I asked for it anyway since I was getting ready for a major road trip. Third, he gave me a coupon for $100.00 off. I paid less for the 60k service at the dealership than my daughter paid for her 60k service on her car at a quick lube place. Fourth, even though it was the middle of the day the service manager had a shuttle ride for me to go over 10 miles away in under 15 minutes. Five, Miguel the shuttle driver made me feel like a family friend. Six, I asked for the car to be ready by 3:00 the next day. At nine in the morning the next day the car was ready. Seven, when I went to pick up the car my daughter accidentally knocked off the panel on the side of the seat with the top of her boot. Mr. Castro came out and put it back on even though it was another make of car and didnt charge us. Where in the modern world do you get service that much above and beyond the call of duty? The bottom line is that Mr. Castro treated me like I had bought a new Rolls Royce from the dealership and not that I was servicing a CRV that I had bought somewhere else. The dealerships management knows how to treat a customer. I will be one for years to come.

I recently took my vehicle in for a standard oil change and was told that the service would take about 45 minutes to complete. I figured no problem and walked to downtown Redwood city for coffee and a bit of shopping. After about an hour and a half, I received a call saying that my car was ready. I paid for the service and then stood outside for a little over 15 minutes waiting for my car to be brought around despite being told repeatedly that it would be out any minute. After hearing this for the fourth or fifth time, it started to seem as if something was off. It was then that I noticed my car still hoisted up on the hydraulic lift in the garage with the tires off and the hood propped open. Turns out that the service center was performing services for another car on my car but got their paperwork mixed up and marked mine as complete. Cue more waiting, apologies, and attempts to explain that its actually a good thing because the services being performed were hundreds of dollars normally and I wouldnt have to pay for them. Except I had that same package of services done about a year ago so the benefit is pretty minimal. Overall, the entire experience started off great and quickly turned into a frustrating, and all around disappointing trip to have a car serviced. Im sure that many other people have great service but I wont be returning.
