To begin with, they got my sister in to the store by "accidentally" quoting her a price that she shouldnt have been offered. Her salesman had quoted her an "as is" price over the phone that hed heard someone else offered when he shouldnt have done it. The van had a few things wrong with it and in the terms of the contract, it was stated that certain items would be fixed before delivery. She purchased the vehicle on Wed. and was told it would take a day or two to fix. Sunday comes around and they bring it to her, but the check engine lights came back on when they were on their way. A few other issues happen (her salesman was always way too busy to return her calls and it was clear from day 2 that he had no interest in following up on her sale) and the bottom line is that more than a week later, its supposedly finally fixed, but they produced a new piece of paper for her to sign. Whats this new paper? Its something stating that she acknowledges that they fixed things on it. It says right on there "NO FURTHER FIXES PROMISED", which directly contradicts the terms of the original contract. It was crystal clear that they wanted her to sign that so if the lights came back on again within a few days, she wouldnt be bringing it back because they were losing their shirts on the deal with all the garage time. Oh no, they swore up and down that that wasnt the reason for it, but couldnt actually produce a reason. Its not like I have no sympathy, but its not my sisters fault that they made a bad deal. Maybe if theyd inspected the van a little bit better in the first place, none of this would have happened. My sister refused to sign the paper and after having that van for two weeks (kinda, since it was getting fixed most of that time), we ended up having to give it back. The paper was absolutely pointless. Why would she sign something saying that they did work on the van? It said right in the original contract that they were required to. They seriously must have thought we were the stupidest people on the planet. The manager was one of the most rude, insulting, condescending assholes Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. It was as if it was his mission in life to make my sister feel bad for stealing this van and all their precious man hours to fix it. Hearing him say he was in business to make money, that he cant keep his garage tied up fixing this van, that we just got such a great deal that we should be grateful for it just made me want to puke. I felt like Id been time warped right back to 1956 and we just needed to do what the wise man told us to do and everything would turn out just fine. AVOID CAR TREK!!

So we found a car here listed on craigslist, they didnt have a price and we told them we had a trade-in (2000 Subaru Outback) and we wanted a certain amount for that car. We came to an agreeance, 16k for the "new" car and 3500 for the outback (It was in perfect shape). So this was the car my Mom wanted and we drove 5 hours to buy it because she wanted everything a specific color and this was the only one I could find in Washington. We get there and test-drive the car, everything at that point went well and the lot-dealer was very nice (After the deal he was a d$%# but more on that later). We went inside to talk to the finance guy, his name was Melvin and he was pretty mean. Not only did they drive up the cost of the car, but he also drove down the price of the trade-in. He had on the sheet 19k for the car and 2k for the trade-in. We threw a fit, ended up walking out TWICE, he kept inching and inching down it was absolutely awful. We would say no, walk out, he would chase us etc etc. He kept saying well you drove all this way out you might as well just buy it as if this was all intentional. Lure long distance customers out and try and screw them over with words like that. We inched up the trade car to about 3k and inched down the "new" car to 18k with a year warranty that was not initially included. Okay that was a bit better. We signed. He was still a very rude greedy person but at least my Mom got the car she wanted for close to what was promised. Again I would like to emphasis that we made a verbal agreement to the prices for the new car and the trade-in, and they absolutely went against what they had said. When I say it ended up being 19k (was promised 16k), Im not even including taxes, fees, and all that. Okay on to the next part, the salesman. Included with the deal was a full tank of gas to help us with our journey back. I personally drove with the initial salesman to the pump and he did not use turn signals, he did NOT fill the tank up all the way (Less than 3/4) , and he didnt even bother to turn the car off when he pumped. We were very happy to have gotten out of there. Awful people. Oh and they also promised us a mechanic had gone over it and it was in tip-top shape, but less than 2 weeks later it needed a new CV axle because the boot had been torn. Im pretty sure it was probably torn when we bought it, and it just wasnt making sounds yet because the grease hadnt worn out. Good thing we negotiated that warranty.

I purchased a 2006 PT Cruiser in November of 2014. Shortly thereafter, I noticed a transmission fluid leak. I called and after a couple of phone calls they agreed to fix it. Three trips to their shop, three un-returned phone calls (I had to keep calling due to un-returned messages) and four months later, it was still not fixed. On my last visit, I mentioned that it was my only vehicle, so they offered to transport me to and from where I live. (They asked me to leave my car there for the day) Good. However, towards the end of the day, after two phone calls, they could not get me back. They told me to take responsibility for buying a used car and that a cab should only be approximately $20.00. When I expressed my frustration, the shop manager, Tom, actually yelled at me. After I was silent for a few seconds, aghast, he hung up on me. A friend gave me a ride down to the shop and there was no so much as an apology. I finally took it to a mechanic who, 2 days ago, replaced the passenger side axle. Additionally, I just found out that I also need to replace my cam shaft sensor because it is causing my car to shudder and rock back and forth violently. On top of that, my head gasket leaks and I have been given an estimate of $1200 - $1400 to fix that. Kelley Blue Book values the vehicle between $4500 and $5700 if in great condition. This vehicle is obviously not in great condition and I paid $8000.00. Additionally, the salesperson, Boaz, which sold me the car used several expletives while I was giving the vehicle a short test drive and during the purchasing process. I have purchased other vehicles previously and have never had a salesperson speak to me in this way before. I was very surprised and found it inappropriate. As a bonus, during my first two visits to presumably get my car fixed, I spoke with other customers who had their vehicles in for various mechanical issues. One gal told me that this is the 6th time in a year her Mazda was in the shop. A gentleman who recently purchased a BMW was having a battery replaced in the hope it would resolve whatever problem he was experiencing. Service here is poor. People are not professional and you do not get the sense that they genuinely care. Do yourself a huge favor and stay far, far away.
