On Monday, September 19, 2016, I called Gresham Ford to inquire about an appointment to have the clutch replaced in my 2006 Mustang. I spoke with Greg who quoted me $925 and said the work would take 2 days (including sending out the fly wheel to be resurfaced). Greg told me to make an appointment a few days out to give them time to get the parts in. I made an appointment for the following week on Monday, 9/26/2016. I dropped my car off at Gresham Ford on Sunday, 9/25/16 at approximately 12:30 p.m. At approximately 3:00 p.m. on Monday, 9/26/16, Ryan (the Service Manager) from Gresham Ford called me and said that they would not honor the quote I was given by Greg on 9/19/16 (even though the quote was in writing). Ryan informed me that the cost would be approximately $1,600. Ryan proceeded to offer to purchase After Market parts (non-OEM) from NAPA which would bring the cost down to $1,100. I explained to Ryan that I brought it to a Ford dealership because I wanted Ford parts and service by a Ford certified mechanic. Ryan then told me that they had not even ordered the parts yet. They would order the parts on Tuesday and it would take 2 days to get the parts from a location in California. I asked Ryan if they had a loaner car since I was now going to be without my car for the rest of the week. He said No, but he would discount the repair by $300 so that I could rent a car. On Friday, 9/30/16 at 2:00 p.m. Ryan called me and said that the Mustang was ready for me to come pick it up. I drove to Gresham Ford, paid the bill, and was told that someone would bring my car around to the front. I found myself wondering that with the amount of incompetence I had experienced thus far from the service desk personnel what disaster could possibly be waiting behind the doors where the actual work was done? That question was answered when the technician who drove my car out front got out of my car and asked “Have you been having problems with your clutch?” I explained that I had brought it to Gresham Ford to REPLACE the clutch. He responded “Well it won’t shift in or out of gear.” In my mind I thought “ARE YOU SERIOUS!?” The car was then taken back into the service bay for another 40 minutes while the mechanic made adjustments so that the car would actually shift. As I waited I started thinking that there are 4 other Ford dealerships in the area and why hadnt I taken my car to one of those!? The amount of unprofessionalism I experienced at Gresham Ford was unbelievable. The audacity the service department had to call a customer and tell them that they would not honor a written quote is absurd! What is the point of getting a written quote if it won’t be honored. So you lure people in with low quotes, wait until you have their car, and then drop the bomb that you are jacking up the price by more than $500!!! Is that the way Gresham Ford does business? I’ll tell you what, though, FRIENDS DON’T LET FRIENDS TAKE THEIR CARS TO GRESHAM FORD.

Had a 9 am appointment (made 1 week ago) this morning for brakes on my F350 Super Duty . When I walked in at 9am, there was no one available at the service desk. I stood there ignored by all the rest of the staff for about 10 minutes, listening to two men from the parts desk talk about chili recipies - While others walked right by me without even speaking. After I became visible impatient, the cashier asked if there was something she could help me with. I explained that I was dropping off my truck for service, and I was a bit frustrated no one was available at the service desk, and that I had to wait for a chili conversation to end. She paged a service employee, who came in and told me that he could not even find my appointment. Worse yet, the brakes would now take all day, and not the 2 hour appointment I had scheduled. They could care less when I told them that I needed the truck (work truck) and that I had taken the entire morning off for this! When I told the employee that I wanted to speak with a manager, they could not produce one. General Manager was not available, and the service manager was in a meeting. When I made reference to the BBB and Google reviews, the staff member I spoke with told me: "Go right ahead." Outrageous! I have tried to make appointments 3 times over the previous year and a half with this dealership, and had the same experience each and every time. (Not honoring or even recording the scheduled appointment) When I finally spoke to the manager an hour later by phone (Cher Marlowe) she was patronizing and condescending, and suggested I try other Ford dealerships, that could better meet my needs, and "bridge the gap." I will never return to this dealership again. I would recommend avoiding this dealership to all others as well. Customer service does not reside at Gresham Ford. Sandy Suburban Ford is well worth the 15 extra minutes driving. Weather its parts, service, sales, or even basic customer service skills - if you need a competent dealership, Gresham Ford is not your place.

Gresham Ford is the only dealer I will go to. I live in North east Oregon and I go right by the dealer in the Dalles. It takes about Three hours to drive into Gresham Ford but its worth it. The service there is excellent I called about 8am in the morning to get a oil change, 6 new GoodYear Wrangler tires and a front end alignment quick lane they said to be in there by 2 pm the same day it was snowing where I live and I made it in there by 1:30pm and they took me right in everyone at quicklane was very nice from the service counter to the ones who change my oil. And the ones who put my new tires on. I have to say the man who works on the front end alignment was very good at his job he went out his way and beyond to make sure my front end was align the right way he used the machine at quick lane but couldnt get it perfect so he took it over to the main shop and used there machine to get it just right. He was very. Professional and kept me in form on what had to be done. I have to give him five stars himself very good man. Best service Ive had and well worth the drive in also it was dark when I left and the truck handle like it was brand new it handle very good in the snow and icy roads I drove on that night to get home. I have a 2012 F350 dually and got into some pretty deep snow and the wind was blowing hard never even had to put four wheel drive in. Those GoodYear tires are expensive but there worth every penny I think there the best tires made I had them on my other F350 and they always got me through some really bad road conditions in the mountains. Gresham ford has always treated myself and my wife very good and she make the long drive in there too. She has a 2007 Fusion. Thank you Gresham Ford. Norman Couch
