This review is for the car sales division. Dont be fooled by the Google reviews. Seaview has an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau and a very low rating on Yelp. We bought a used car from Seaview and had immediate buyers remorse. They pushed us into buying before we were ready, essentially using every used car dealer trick in the book to separate us from our money, and then some. Aside from the usual tactics of wearing you down through lunchtime (with a toddler in tow), surprise fees added on such as anti-theft and doc fee, etc., there were some really egregious displays of dishonesty. 1. The car we bought was listed online as a different trim than the car on the lot. If we had known or realized the trim was different, we wouldnt have paid as much for the car. When we called them to discuss, they said thats how their paperwork was listed and there was nothing they could do about it. FALSE ADVERTISING! 2. The finance guy was a bully, plain and simple. We should have walked out as soon as he disputed the interest rate our credit union had locked in for us. Or when he lied and said if we locked in the higher rate wed be able to change it if our bank verified the rate later. Or when he presented us with credit reports that were lower than the reports our bank had pulled from us FROM THE SAME AGENCY just days before. I felt slimy just from being in the same room with him. How does he sleep at night? 3. After the sale, rather than handing us the keys, they handed us the KEY. Singular. Since its a push-button car, this means $400 if we want to both be able to drive the car. Should have been disclosed. 4. I asked for service records and was told they couldnt access them on Sunday (WTF?) but the car was in great shape. As soon as we got home (leaving the lot with only 1/3 tank of gas) we found the tires were at 3/32 inch (barely legally safe to drive) and the date for when the oil change was due was literally THE NEXT DAY. 5. Slight body damage on the car was not disclosed. I could go on. I wish we had noticed some of these things and done better research, but part of their strategy is to get you to sign quickly without time to think -- or search too much on the internet to find Seaviews poor rating on Yelp and F rating from the Better Business Bureau. The positive Google reviews are said to be employee plants, which would make sense given the rating here.

review starts with me finding a beautiful Corvette "Vert" of which I had visited many dealerships in the Seattle area prowling for. I liked the color and I liked the year and mileage. Upon inspection of the car, there was a serious paint flaw on the door that somebody had haphazardly tried to touch up with the wrong color. It was ugly!! The interior wasnt detailed, the car hadnt been washed. The car looked as if it had been sitting for awhile...but this was not immediately a concern for me. My salesmen Brian (who was great I might add) said he would address these issues if purchased. Fast forward to the purchase. I did not negotiate on price because I thought the issues that bothered me would be addressed...they were not. After signing the papers for a price that was at the high end of the value spectrum I get delivery. The paint issue is still there, the interior had not been detailed, there was not enough gas in it to get home, and I had to argue with the finance guy Bill about the add ons he kept trying to put on the final price. He still got an anti theft package weaseled on even though I did not want it and did not want it back charged onto the price. I am a little annoyed at this point. Fast forward to the drive home. The car develops a loud creaking, clanking suspension noise from the front going over bumps, and the car pulls. Two things that didnt really manifest themselves in the test drive. The dealership says they will look into the issues I have with the car. I waste 5 hours of my only day off this week for them to spray lubricant on the suspension and tell me its good. I could have done that, and when I had my mechanic check it out, he said the suspension needed a complete rebuild (bushings). Also, they still will not address the paint issue and keep trying to "brush it under the rug," even though this was important to me to be fixed BEFORE purchase. I have no more time to waste with this dealership as I live 1.5-3 hours away depending on traffic. I cannot recommend this dealership, even though some aspects of the purchase were alright. The customer service stops at or slightly before the sale everybody. There was no fix, no customer service, nor any gesture of goodwill for my issues before and after the sale. Thanks

My husband and I purchased a slightly used 2009 GMC Acadia from Seaview BuickGMC last night and had a great experience with Rob Pecina. We had been looking around for a new 7-8 passenger vehicle since our 2nd daughter was born last October. The issue was price and the fact that we would have to buy used in order to get what we really wanted. Last Sunday we decided to finally go and just look inside and possibly test drive one. Well when Rob began walking towards us we were a little unsure as we always think, "salesman are so pushy!" Rob wasnt at all. He asked us what we were looking for and took us to the 09 Acadia. We looked at it and of course really liked it. He said we could load up the kids and take it for a drive. He even said for as long we wanted. Josh and I were so confused as we had never taken a car for a test drive without the salesman. It was so nice to just drive it and really just take in the car. We decided to think it over and look around still. After two days of talking and searching we could not find an Acadia we wanted for the price Seaview was offering. At 5pm Tuesday we got online looked at the Acadia again and put the info in for our trade-in. Rob called us back 15 min later and we were able to ask some questions and got all the answers. They offered a little more than KBB value for our Acura and we decided to go in. Rob greeted us when we got there, we looked at the Acadia again and decided we wanted it. They gave us a great price for the car and the trade-in which was great. They made the process so easy. My last experience buying a car was a 4 hour process. We got to Seaview a little after 7pm and were out the door before 9pm. Overall we had a great experience with Rob and Russ. When we are ready for another new car we will definitely go back. I really recommend Rob and Russ from the internet department. They are both great with customer service and I would purchase from them again.

Everyone always seems to dread the car buying experience, its a stereotype thatll never go away, understandably so. But wow was I blown away by the service I received by Derek and the manager Joe. I had an appointment to come look at a truck I really wanted, like most people I was sold on it and didnt want anything else. I had a suv to trade in, which was unbelievable how low kelly blue book valued it at, which was nothing to do with Seaview, they are running a business after all. I also dont have the best credit and bottom line, the truck I wanted was not going to happen. They had one brand new truck they could offer me with a very high monthly payment. It was something I didnt want or feel right about, i was in love with the other truck. Its hard though because you so badly want to leave in a new car. I declined the offer. There was literally ZERO, absolutely zero pressure from either of them, even the manager, to have me buy the second truck I didnt come down there for. Joe even gave me advice on the best way to get into a truck I want, just a bigger down payment and pay off a couple smaller collection bills to raise my credit slightly. I will 100% be back in 2-3 months. They seriously gained a customer for life and I will more than likely do any car shopping at their dealership forever. What is the icing on the cake?! The unbelievable, and incredible full power train warranty forever they offer at no cost with all new purchases, literally as long as you own the truck, mileage does not matter. No deductible, nothing. Your engine and transmission blow up? You pay $0 and they fix everything for free! What other dealerships offers that?! Having that peace of mind is truly invaluable! Thank you Seaview, Derek and Joe for making my potential car buying experience the best Ive ever had! You will see me back there in a couple months!!
