I worked for the State of Washington for the Department of Corrections for over 10 years. Recently I moved to Employment Security Department. For years my husband and I have carpooled. (he has an older Mazda 6 that we love). When I changed jobs and his work hours were changed I was forced to start driving myself to work. I was driving a 05 Ram 1500 pick-up that I loved, however $30.00 dollars every two days in gas I didnt love so much. My husband and I agreed that I needed to get a car. We are comfortable in our life style but no one will ever accuse us of being rich. I had not had a brand new car in over twenty years. I decided I wanted a Mazda. So on February 4, 2017 I went to the Olympia dealership. I was first helped by Shade and then by Tom. I picked out a beautiful blue 2017 Mazda 6 touring. Tom took me for a test drive and I loved it. I was of course over in my truck so some money was rolled over into the new vehicle. Lance, Tom, Jen, and Shade were all wonderful. I got my brand new car and I drove off happy. This is when the story gets good. About 14 years ago I was in a head on collision with a semi. The accident was caused by a drunk driver. Not only did I get hit head on but it spun me around six times and every time I spun I hit the trailer of the truck. Luckily for me I was driving a 1999 Chevy Tahoe. I crawled away from the wreck and the very first thing the officer that showed up when they were putting me in the ambulance was that it was my lucky day. If I had been driving a car I would have been dead. So back to my car. I got up Monday morning all excited about driving my new car to work and showing it off. I got on the freeway and the first semi that came along I got sick to my stomach. Then I had a panic attack. It had never dawn on me that I wouldnt be able to drive a car. I realized at that point that ever since the accident I had driven a Tahoe, Yukon, and then my Ram truck. I was sure once I got comfortable with the car it would go away. When Tom called me to see how I was doing I told him what was happening. He said to give it a little longer and let him know what happened. I told him at the time that it wasnt the cars fault nor was it the dealerships fault and I would make due. Well two weeks later it was worse. I didnt know what to do. Finally I called Lance and asked him if there was any way I could get out of the car into something else. He talked to Randy and they couldnt come up with anything at that time. Tom called me back a couple of times over the next couple of weeks to let me know Randy was working on it. I really didnt think they would be able to help me. Finally last Sunday Tom called and asked if my husband and I could come down to the dealership. Randy had some ideas and they were going to try to help me out. That is how I ended up with my 2016 Mazda CX 5. I absolutely love it. It is just big enough that i dont feel like I am sitting on the ground. It did cost me some extra money. I am not sure that you know that you lost money on the deal, but Tom, Randy, Shade, and Lance did the greatest thing in the world for me by not forgetting about me the minute I walked out the door. It is the best customer service I have ever had at a dealership. I am sure you know this but you cant pay for better advertising then what those four men did for me. They were all great through the whole thing. The let me know not only were they concerned with finding me a new vehicle that i was comfortable in but that they cared about my safety. I have given all of them big hugs but please acknowledge each one of them. Including Jen who worked really hard to get me decent financing. They are the best and if they are any indication of the type of people you surround yourself with I am sure you and all the other salesmen are just as good. :)

I recently traded in for my 2007 Subaru Impreza at this dealership. I test drove this vehicle and it was making a chirping noise. I have never heard this noise before and didnt know what it was, unfortunately for me. I told them I would purchase the vehicle as long as they fixed whatever was making that noise. The mechanic at this dealership told me it was a belt that he "fixed" and that the noise would continue for a while until the new belt became adjusted. So, and I know this was my fault for putting my trust in this dealership/mechanic (my first major mistake), I accepted the vehicle, believing what they told me about the belt. Ive obviously since learned my lesson. About 2 weeks went by and the noise never stopped or lessened. So I went to my mechanic and it turns out the noise was the release bearing on my clutch and I need to replace the clutch. Ive driven manual my whole life but, lucky for me, Ive never actually had a clutch go bad on me so I didnt know what it sounded like. Now I do. I couldnt believe (although, its a car dealership, so I guess I shouldnt be surprised) that the mechanic at Mazda of Olympia blatantly lied to me so they could get out of repairing the clutch. So, advice for you all, dont trust the mechanic at Mazda of Olympia. They refused to fix the clutch for free and only offered me the employees discount to get it fixed with their same mechanic. Really, Mazda of Olympia? You think Im gonna let that guy work on my car again?? Good things about Mazda of Olympia: I otherwise had a really great experience with my car salesman, Shade Clark. Or I think I did. I dont really know if you can trust a car dealership in general, but I tell myself he was one of the good guys. The finance women, Terry and Rebecca (I think those were their names) are great, too. Elizabeth, another finance woman, was very misinformed about what was happening with my car registration. Thats another long story that I wont go into but it ended in me at the DMV with a very confused DMV employee. They also gave me a really nice loaner car when I traded in my vehicle (as the car I just purchased wasnt ready because the mechanic was "fixing my belt" *heavy eye roll*). Also, they have clean bathrooms.

This review does not represent the Mazda side of this dealer. My mother and I went to check out Lincoln MKZs this morning. She had scheduled an appointment with "Don" previously for our visit today. Don was not there for the appointment rather another man was filling in for him since it was Dons day off. This man said he was their Lincoln expert and had an air of arrogance about him. He knew nothing about what my mother was looking for, guessing Don failed to forward the message or this guy simply didnt care. The "Lincoln expert" was rude and arrogant in his attitude despite the false friendliness. He argued with myself and my mother, told her it takes classes to drive the car. I disagreed and he told me I was wrong. Simple as driving any other automatic with pushing buttons rather than moving a stick. He told her that the prices for a new MKZ was much lower than what was listed on the cars in the lot. He pushed through the process of showing my mother some of the aspects about the car, not bothering to take his time. Ive had friendlier and more helpful service from the Car Dealers at Parks Place LTD where they sell Porsche, Lotus, and other higher end cars in Bellevue. My mother felt like this man was disrespectful and pompous, especially when she stated this would be her last car and he argued the fact due to people older than her constantly upgrading models. Well be looking elsewhere for the purposes of buying a Lincoln, but the Mazda rep was pretty helpful when I came to check out the cars previously.
