*Updated May 2016* We recently traded in a car to upgrade for my daughter. When our trusted sales person, Sandra McMillan fell ill in the midst of our transaction, she asked a co-worker, Jordan Lowery, to step in and finish the process. Jordan was great and the process wasnt complicated or delayed and we were very well taken care of throughout the transaction. It was nice to see Sales folks work so well together in what is traditionally a very competitive business. I would recommend either person to anyone looking for an honest sales person to work with. Even during the inevitable signing process, Serge Kononov in finance did his best to be sure I understood the paperwork but didnt waste time getting through the signatures. Sandra has helped me and a couple of my family members find cars, and she has become a friend over the years, and someone I look forward to seeing even if Im just stopping in for vehicle services. Which brings me to the other exceptional experiences Ive had over the past few years with Dick Hannah. The service department staff are wonderful! Scott Long and Justin Renteria have treated me like family when I show up, and have worked very hard to ensure that my vehicles are well maintained and that I am receiving all the benefits of the Loyalty Rewards program and that Im fairly charged for all services. I never feel like they are trying to take advantage of me or sell me services I dont need. Overall, my experiences with Dick Hannah both the Toyota dealership in Kelso, and their Honda location in Vancouver have been positive. I dont even question where to go or send a friend for their car shopping or service needs. *Updated 2015 I have been working with Dick Hannah Toyota in Kelso, WA for several years. I have worked with a number of service and sales professionals and I have always been happy with the results. I have also brought in family and friends to purchase vehicles as well as purchasing both my daughters cars from them. They are always more than willing to help and provide friendly and fair customer service. For the most recent purchase of a used car for my newest driver, I had the pleasure of working with Sandra McMillin. I had worked with her about a year before when my sister purchased a pre-owned Prius and was so happy that I asked for her when I came back. I use their service department for all four of our vehicles and their service team is wonderful as well. 2012 Travis Hopp greeted me first thing and worked with me over a few days to find the perfect used car for my daughter. My experience was so positive, I encouraged two of my friends/family members to buy from Dick Hannah Toyota in Kelso, WA and they did - within a couple weeks of me. Their experiences were also quite positive. Ive worked with Dick Hannah in Vancouver in the past with the same exceptional service and will likely skip the shopping around from now on and head straight to Dick Hannah. Even the finance manager, Garrett was awesome with both my deal and my sisters. He found us the best rates and worked hard to get us the payments we wanted without sacrificing any more money than necessary in interest.

Im an Oregon resident that was recently car shopping, and after reading reviews I ended my day here on this last Saturday, May 9th. I have to say, when I walked in I didnt expect for them to try to hustle me. I walked in and immediately a very friendly sales associate was helping me. She found a truck I was interested in buying, with only problem being that it was in their truck lot in Vancouver. She passed me off to another salesperson, who was... less helpful. He just was fairly inexperienced, and it showed. After driving down there for the test drive, I was pretty well in love with the vehicle and it was in my price range for purchase, so I decided to start the sale transaction. So far, so good. At this point, they make me go all the way up to their Kelso lot again to start the paperwork. Not a huge deal, I guess Ill just chalk that up to an extended test drive. But this is where it gets interesting. I sit down to start the paperwork, and even though I was pre-approved through my credit union, they still wanted me to fill out a credit application through them.... I made it very clear that I didnt want my credit run unnecessarily, and they assured me it wouldnt be since I already had a loan set up at a low rate. An hour worth of back and forth later, were still waiting for word for whether or not itll go through. I remained patient, as the last vehicle I had part in purchasing a few years ago took a very long time as well. The salesman ran around a lot from one place to another, not sure what he was doing, until he came out with the paperwork for the sale to go through. I saw then that they were trying to charge me sales tax on the car, almost $1500.00. The saleswoman who was originally helping me had already told me that since Im an Oregon resident, and would be registering the car in Oregon for use in Oregon (mostly, I do visit Washington from time to time), there would be no sales tax. I told my salesman that this wouldnt do, and he took it into their back office to talk with someone. Then he brought out the finance manager. He was very curt with telling me that "for auditing purposes", they would have to charge me sales tax. This was upsetting to say the least, especially when every other lot Id been to said the exact opposite. I told him that was incorrect, and he just scoffed. So I walked away. Just watch out for this, Oregonians. You do not have to pay sales tax on a new vehicle you purchase in Washington just because they try and lie to you about it. This sheister of a man was trying to take me for some extra dough in their pockets. Dont let this fly!! To all of you reading this, good luck! Car buying is stressful enough as is, and I wouldnt recommend going here in the least due to getting the run around here.

I recently purchased a Toyoya TRD pro tacoma. It was a purchase that was done somewhat over the phone. The salesman Jared was outstanding, he went so far as to deliver the vehicle to my home in Anacortes. However when we initially look at the vehicle I happen to be home for just a couple of days from my job, we offered them a fair price for it and was flatly turned down a second day later I called and made a another offer on the vehicle and again was flatly turned down then I got a phone call from Jared who indicated that there was a different finance director and that they were willing to take my 2nd offer. Once it was agreed upon we have excellent credit and were able to put a large down-payment on the vehicle. I happened to be out of state and in Florida while my wife was here in Washington the paperwork was signed by my wife and then it was immediately fedexed to my location in Florida I signed the paperwork for the purchase and mailed it back it took well over 2 Weeks and 2 separate phone calls in order to get the purchase paperwork to have for my files. My wife sent me photos of the vehicle and I noticed that the front skidplate was missing from the vehicle. The dealership had modified the truck by placing a very nice new front bumper and winch system on however failed to put the skid plate back on. I called and asked them to ship the skid plate to the house which they would not do my wife drove the 250 plus miles back-to the dealership and picked up the skid plate they did not give her the paperwork at that time either. I again called and asked for the paperwork which they finally sent. After waiting another week or so we had not yet received the license plates I called them and they indicated that we should be receiving them shortly clearly they had not submitted the paperwork for the license plates or somehow it was misplaced. we truly like Jared he is a great salesman and very helpful their customer-service however was not the best we buy new vehicles somewhat frequently, I would not Purchase from these folks again. The only reason we purchased from them to begin with, was they had the exact vehicle I was looking for as the TRD pro tacomas were very limited to each Dealerships .
